It’s been a number of months since I could come but the the girls still recognises me which made m feel really welcome. As always, they did a fantastic job and I will continue coming in over and over for my shellac manicures and pedicures.

This nail salon is tucked away near Value Village and another thrift store. I gave it a try when I had some time to kill after dropping off some items at VV — and I’m sure glad I did. The wait for service was short, only about 15 minutes as they promised.
The salon is very clean and up to date, with big, comfortable massage chairs. I had a pedicure with paraffin, which was very relaxing and my feet were happily sloughed and soft by the end of the service. The ladies who work there were all pleasant. I particularly appreciated the menu they gave me when I was deciding what I wanted, which clearly explained the various options and prices. No surprises and everything was quite reasonable.

I found a new Pedi place in Juanita. Amour Nail which is behind Starbucks on lower level, or across from Value Village. Friendly staff. 6 chairs. Pariffin wax was good. Roxy gives a good leg massage too. I will go back again.

Every time I have gone there two things happened: they injured my cuticles by cutting too far back even tho I had forewarned them ahead of time not to do that. Worst of all, I ended up with a breakout of athletes foot following each pedicure. I will not be returning there .!

My second time here for mani and pedi. Worst ever ! Nail paint looks sloppy… 2 ladies worked on me and they both were just rushing even though there was no other customer. Final paint looks like I would have applied at home. Also they gutted my finger while removing callus.
Never coming back !!

Went there for pedicure. Less then two days later my pedicure looks like it’s weeks old…
People are really nice at this place, but quality is lacking… I feel like I wasted my money, I can do a better pedicure at home. There was barely any callous removing done, don’t know about others, but that is why I get pedicures so nails and feet are cleaned and dead skin removed, I can paint my own nails and save 25 bucks…
Disappointing… not coming back…

i was shopping around and saw a nail salon. I walked in and asked to get a pedicure and manicure done. I got french white tips and a flower on my big toes and a plain french white tips on my fingers. The ladies there were really friendly and nice. They did an excellent job making me look pretty! The place was clean and professional. Thank u! I will come back again soon!

Based on Unilocal reviews, I thought I would try this salon and am very happy I did!
I was greeted warmly and was introduced to Luan and Rose who gave me a Jelly Pedicure (which I very highly recommend) and Shellac manicure. $ 55.00 total for both which I feel is worth every cent.
The pedicure was very de stressing and left my feet looking and feeling beautiful!
The manicure was expertly done and my nails have never looked prettier.
The salon is roomy, very clean and pleasant.
I am now going to be a regular!

I went to this nail salon based on the reviews. I walked in and got the callous remover pedicure. Nice lady but, she was so hurried to take care of the one other person in the salon that I was left waiting several times and turned out to get an average pedicure. Nothing spectacular about this place for me.

I went to Amour Nail & Spa based on the favorable Unilocal reviews, and I was not disappointed. I had made an appointment for a friend and myself on a Friday evening, and when we walked in, it looked like we would have to wait. But just as we finished selecting our polish colors, there were two pedicure chairs ready and waiting for us.
You get the choice of a regular pedicure ($ 20), deluxe pedicure ($ 25) which includes a scrub, and jelly pedicure ($ 30). Being adventurous types, my friend and I went with the jelly pedicure — which is just what it sounds like. They fill the basin with a gelatinous concoction and massage your legs within it. I might stick with the scrub next time, but it was definitely not unpleasant and an interesting pedi experience. I did feel like more time could have been spent on the trimming and shaping of my toenails — the main focus seemed to be the jelly part.
I also got my eyebrows waxed, and I was surprised by how professional and clean the waxing room was — definitely more spa-​like and not like the other dingy nail salon waxing rooms I’m accustomed to entering. I really liked the staff here — everyone was friendly and professional. I’m already planning to return for a shellac manicure next week!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Family owned and ran by a darling man named Vin, his wife Kim and two his two sisters Rose and Loann. All are amazing and give excellent service! My shellac is always perfect and never chips although they always say they’ll fix any chips for free within three days. I’ve never had to take them up on it. I am new to the area and saw all these great reviews on Unilocal and everything is true! I’m getting a pedicure as I type. I’m a two week regular now. Check them out, you’ll be happy you did!

I went here today on a whim after work for a mani and pedicure. I walked in and I noticed that the place was very clean. I have very difficult feet and very small toes. This was the best pedicure i have ever had. I opted for a shellac pedicure and the color turned out beautiful. Lee did my pedicure she also added a beautiful white flower. My manicure was also shellac love the color. It did take a while but everyone was very thorough and did an amazing job I’m very happy and will be back.

This spot has honestly become my new favorite nail place in the area ! All of the ladies are extremely friendly and will make small talk.
When I come in it is usually between 3 – 4 on weekdays, and get right in. No appointment necessary, it’s awesome and fits my style !
I have had shellac, a manicure, pedicures, and acrylics from here and every time I have been, I have left surprised at how impressed I am with my service.
Overall, go here. Worth your time and money. And I would call and make an appointment if you are strapped for time. I will for sure be returning !

Great job by Luanne! First timer here today. Everyone was very friendly in the salon. (It was busy for Valentine’s Day) but they were very relaxed about everything. The price was reasonable, and quality excellent. This is in an out-​of-​the-​way location directly across from value Village in Totem Lake.

I found my new standard salon! Walked in today around 1pm and was able to get right in for a mani. The woman were super nice, and made me feel very comfortable. My nails were pretty jacked, and she made sure to take the time to clean everything up and make them pretty again– while suggesting I take vitamins (but not talking down to me like so many previous technicians have done about my bad nails). Tons of shellac colors, lots of choices, and an overall great service.

This is solely based on an eyebrow waxing experience.
I walked in one afternoon to get my eyebrows waxed, and it was, quite frankly, an awful experience from start to finish. There was one other person in the salon getting a pedicure, and I was told there would be about a 10 minute wait, which I was totally fine with, since they had a plethora of magazines for me to enjoy while I waited. However, that wasn’t the case.
The woman (older lady, presumably the owner?) was in the midst of giving a client a pedicure, gets up, mumbles something to another lady working there, and gestures to me with her hand and to hurry up. Soo rude, but I really needed my brows done, lol, so I got up and followed her to a back room. (I guess she was angry that she had to do my brows, although I told her I didn’t mind waiting while she finished).
She didn’t talk to me, even though I asked her how her day was going, she angrily said «ok» and continues to wax my brows in silence. An uncomfortable 5+ minutes later, she shows me her «work» in the mirror, and I gasp: She waxed off half of my eyebrows! — you know the thinner, tail ends. And, upon seeing my reaction and hearing how upset I am, she screams at me, pulls out an eyeliner from her purse, and says «you just draw those on, like this, see!»
Ugh. Guys, I was furious! Needless to say that I didn’t tip her, and I threw the money on the counter as I walked out pissed. This woman is truly vile, and I feel like she discriminated against me, so I was treated hostile as a result.
Just wanted to share because I only went to this salon since based on the positive reviews, and the location, so I hope this saves other people from a terrible waxing experience.

I quite liked this nail salon which is in my hood and which I have only been once to for a pedicure. The $ 23 one with callous removal, paraffin and the works. I love the paraffin treatment which leaves your feet glowing and soft.
They seem to be v friendly and know all the regulars. One of them is witty and talks to all the customers. The saloon is very clean and all ladies speak English and don’t talk amongst themselves.
They put effort in your pedicures, have had it for 2 weeks now and my feet still looks and feels good. Will be going back for mani, pedi and perhaps gel.
They are open until 7 on most days and getting same day appointments is no problem and they are located in a strip mall which is convenient for your other needs– grocery shopping, froyo, sally etc

Great brow, chin and lip wax. Personable and very reasonable. Recommend. Great value.

Walked in for a random Pedicure and Suzie did my nails. I got the deluxe (paraffin wax is my FAVORITE.) and it was super cheap! Suzie did such a great job and everyone was super friendly. Even though it was a busy day and only 3 staff members were there. I waited less than 10 mins for a walk in Pedicure. The environment was so nice and friendly, felt like everyone knew everyone and we had a blast.
Will definitely be back :)
EDIT: I wrote this as I sat there waiting for my nails to dry, she told me I was finished, polished the nails with oil, and then helped me into my ballet flats. Soon as I got to my car I took my feet out and the big toe paint was completely smushed off. If I had time I would have went back in and had the big toe redone. I just didn’t have time. I’ll mention this next time I go in.

This review is for eyebrow waxing only as I’ve never had my nails done here.
The owner’s wife is the one that gives the best wax job… she understands the importance of the client walking away with an eyebrow still in tact. I’ve been to so many places over the years that literally shape my brow into a thin line making me look like a clown.
