I got the meal deal that was a Turkey Club plus a side for $ 5. I picked the salad over the chips. I waited but 5 minutes and had my lunch to go. I ate down the street. The salad was good in taste. Covered in a light vinaigrette and tossed with dried cranberries, raw red onion and the tiniest amount of Parmesan; I had but five bites before my salad was gone. Still ravishing from quickly eating my rabbit food I dove into the sandwich. The bread was scrumptious. Not toasted, which is a characteristic of club sandwiches. Perfectly flakey and firm it wasn’t soggy from the sauce they put on either side but I couldn’t even taste the sauce. It looked like a mayonnaise with a spice blend? Then there was the bacon and a poor serving(3 dry slices) of turkey. And that completed the sandwich. No toppings but a tasteless spread on a sandwich that was mostly bread. I would have easily put tomato, lettuce, and Dijon to add some flavor. Along with a traditional club tomato and lettuce is found above the meat. Pretty basic meal. I wouldn’t get it again. And after this disappointing visit I’m not thrilled to go again nor would I recommend it to friends. Two star because I won’t go there myself but I wasn’t offended or mistreated by the staff so if a friend were to drag me along I wouldn’t put up a fight.

Great cappuccino served traditionally Italian which means creamy and not too hot in a proper ceramic cup on a cute street in downtown Kirkland with fun window seating. Met a girlfriend there for a quick caffeine boost but would linger longer if this Thursday was not my true Friday night and dinner plans weren’t imminent.

Excellent, excellent coffee. I used to work at a place with nationally competing baristas, so I feel like I know a thing or two about how coffee should taste, and how it should be prepared. They have unfortunately fallen into the American craze of calling a foamy latte a cappuccino(I blame Starbucks), so you need to specify if you want a European style, and even then occasionally they’ll give you a sloshy cup with a fancy design on top; long forgotten is the hallmark of a true cap: pure white, aromatic foam, marred only by small fuscus scar. *sniff* FYI: The other review is for a different location; the downtown Kirkland location is exactly where the address says it is, and easy to find. They have free wifi but you need to ask for a pass word. Plug-ins are limited so make sure you charge your laptop before going. Music on Friday nights. A nice couch seating area in the middle. Service is friendly and prompt. Atmosphere is clean and quiet.

I have had a couple of cappuccinos and one of their single origin Brazilian coffees. I have been pleasantly surprised by how smooth and creamy their coffee is, even when plain. Unlike the typical burnt, overroasted Starbucks-esque coffees many places serve, Rococo has a light touch with their roast which brings out the more subtle flavors. They are a little hard to find, tucked away in the new Amazon building called Arizona, but they are still open to the public despite the somewhat inconvenient location — they are not street facing, for example. You have to enter the Amazon building’s vestibule and kind of wander through this hallway… I wish them luck with an admittedly poor spot!
