Business Owner
I am a Neuromuscular Therapist (NMT) specializing in the treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. For over twelve years I have worked with injured patients and athletes, often treating in collaboration with other healthcare professionals such as sports medicine and orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, acupuncturists, personal and athletic trainers. I have received thousands of hours of training and possess various certifications in manual therapy and corrective exercise, as well as a degree in biomedical engineering. I also teach courses in musculoskeletal palpation, assessment & treatment, and assist research projects at the UCSD Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. I will begin medical school in 2014 and one of my primary interests and goals is to help substantially improve patient outcomes and the quality and effectiveness of care for the multitude of people with persistent musculoskeletal pain.
