Specialties
Our school supplies, snacks and drinks are the cheapest on campus. We sell records, classic video games and consoles, knick knacks and other things that are hard to find. We are the only place on campus that sells tobacco products. We also buy back used textbooks for more than the UCSD bookstore.
History
Established in 1980.
The General Store Co-op was started by students who wanted to save money on jeans by buying wholesale. The store grew from there with the goal of saving students money. Even today, our goal is to lower the cost of living on campus by providing low-cost goods to students.
