AA Express Towing

Called office and asked for price to tow a car they told me 25.00 hook up and 4.00 per mile so I have them pick up the car and deliver it Then the driver gives me the bill for 45.00 hook up and 4.75 per mile
WATCH OUT FOR THESE GUYS BAD BUSINESS

Today, I purchased a $ 75.00 voucher for AA EXPRESS TOWING in San Diego. (paid 50 dollars for it)
I just had my car towed by them, but they refused to take the voucher.
They say that Unilocal doesn’t pay well so they have stopped taking the vouchers.
They refused to take the voucher.
I purchased this voucher but now cannot use it because it is refused by the buisiness.
I had to pay them in full with my credit card.
I demand an immediate refund of the $ 50 dollars that I paid Unilocal for the worthless coupon!
Also the Unilocal advertisement says $ 35.00 for hook up and $ 3.00 per mile.
I was charged $ 45.00 for hook up and $ 4.50 per mile.
If the $ 50.00 that I paid Unilocal for a worthless, unusable voucher is not refunded, I will sue in small claims court on principle.

This place is the most unreasonable, crooked, overly-​priced towing company I have ever seen!
I called to have my car towed. They told me $ 100 on the phone. So, I agreed to $ 100 had my expectations been serviced. We got my car hooked up, the guy spoke such bad english, and seemed to be under the influence of an unknown substance. He drove me to my mechanic, where I dropped my car off a little after midnight (I was planning on getting my radiator replaced in the morning). He went to let my car down, and scrapped the whole bottom of my muffler on the ground, where he bent it. I asked to speak to a supervisor about the cost of towing, since he had damaged my vehicle, and he completely freaked out on me. I am a 24 year old woman, he was a middle aged man. He called me names, he yelled, he screamed, he tried to take my car to the impound (I wouldn’t move from the front of my vehicle so he HAD to wait for the police to come, who I called MYSELF!), and I finally had to call in other authorities to help me. He then proceeded to tell me that I was going to pay a $ 1 a minute for every minute he had to wait, passed the time he lowered the car.
The police came, they gave me some advice, and told me just to pay the $ 100 and to take it up later either civilly in court, or with the company. The guy then told the officer he quoted me $ 150, which was a complete lie, and I could tell the officer knew he was lying as well. He told the guy too bad, you’re only getting $ 100. I paid him the money, satisfied that I would deal with his negligence in the morning, through the proper avenue; his supervisor. I called the tow truck headquarters and the guy who answered the phone was just as rude, malicious, and nasty (same bad accent too) as the guy who towed my car. He told me that I couldn’t take them to court (which was not my intention), and that if I didn’t like how they ran their business to go somewhere else next time.
PLEASE if you need a tow company DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! THEY ARE THE MOST CROOKED, UNFAIR, UNSAFE, AND IMMORAL PEOPLE I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS! USE OTHER COMPANY’S WITH GOOD REVIEWS, AND GOOD PERSONAL RECOMMENDATIONS. Especially as a young woman, I was so stressed out, and felt so betrayed, that I was so happy to see the police arrive. Please, please, please, don’t get involved with this company. It’s stressful enough having car troubles. You don’t want to add a bad, overpriced, towing company to the mix. Good luck, all :)
SAY NO TO AA EXPRESS TOWING! I HAVE ALREADY FILED A FORMAL COMPLAINT AT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU SO THESE PEOPLE WILL HOPEFULLY BE OUT OF BUSINESS, SOONER THAN LATER!

I accidentally called AA Express when I thought I was calling a different tow service. I decided to give them a try when they assured me their prices were comparable to the other tow place. Comparable if you find nearly HALF the price comparable! This guy is very reasonably priced! $ 3 a mile!!!
I had him tow the car straight to my mechanic but I wasn’t able to go with as I had to get to work. He got my car there and delivered the key for me. He was really nice. I will never use anyone else again!
