Mark G. Rolandelli Construction, Inc. is a full service residential and commercial building construction company which was established in 1987. Mark learned the trade while building tract homes for Seeno Construction in the 70’s and transitioning to a custom home builder in the 80’s. Mark Rolandelli Construction, Inc. started off with insurance work when the Oakland Fire and the Loma Prieta Earthquake hit, repairing fire, water and settlement damages. We have completed 100’s of jobs on time leaving every job with a happy client after finishing.

Mark Rolandelli has lived in the East Bay his whole life and is actively involved in his community. He has been involved with Pleasant Hill Baseball Association for 28 years and was the Association’s President for 10 years. As the father of six, he has participated as a coach and Umpire for more than 28 years.

We completed a long and complicated project with Mark and his crew. We added windows along one side of the house and replaced sliders with French doors. Part of the complexity and timing issues were driven by the City of Berkley planning department and their requirements.
So if you have a project in Berkeley make sure your contractor knows how to work with Berkeley planning.
The end result was fabulous, in particular because one of Mark’s crew is a superb craftsman who obviously takes pride in his work. The finish carpentry took the whole project up a notch. Btw his name is Mark also.

His cost estimates were on target and he guided the design and layout to fit our needs and use space wisely. We recommend his company without hesitation. They are great.

Mark is the real deal — old school contractor who has been there and done that but still is willing to learn. Mark has many ways to get things done and he knows how to do them right. He uses some subs and family members that have been with him for many years so he knows the job will be done right. He completed a whole house remodel for us on our 1931 built home. Updated windows, fixed walls, floors, stairs, updated bathrooms, new kitchen, new electrical and plumbing. He worked with us on many things to find alternative, less expensive ways to achieve the same result — like I said, old school contractor who knows his stuff. I would not hesitate to recommend and I have — our next door neighbor is completing another entire house remodel and is very, very happy with Mark and the results. Hire Mark — if he is available…

Mark Rolandelli is the perfect contractor. While discussing your ideas, Mark hears every word you say AND remembers! Mark’s workers arrive promptly at seven and get right to work. They leave the worksite neat and out of the way. All of my projects were begun within a week of discussion. Every little wish was easily handled: a new place for a hose that I had been dreaming of, light switches moved to a better place, a new different kind of kitchen sink and faucet without changing the existing counter, a gorgeous new shed meeting all of my needs, great new gate and fence etc. etc etc. Soon, new cabinets where my husband said there could not be any! I could go on! You will be thrilled to meet and work with Mark Rolandelli.

Mark Rolandelli is the General Contractor who helped make Gayle’s house the wonderful place that it is (with assistance from the architect and her good taste of course). I remember that every time we take a shower in the master bathroom, go to bed at night, cook in the remodeled kitchen, or hang out in the relatively new family room. I first met Mark during that last construction phase, and as Gayle spent more time over in the Albany House. After all, remodeling does cause a temporary living space shortage. Mark does great work and he and his crew backs that up.
A few months ago, we noticed a small puddle of water on the concrete floor in the garage. I wiped it up thinking that we has spilled something out of a certain appliance. Unfortunately, the water continued to bubble up and we realized that we had a bigger problem. At my suggestion, Gayle called Mark as his crew were the last ones who had touched any part of the plumbing and he knew her house better than anyone. That’s very important at the early diagnosis stage when we had no idea what was going on under the slab, or how much it might cost to fix it.
This all unfolded late one Saturday afternoon. We talked to Mark on the same day and he came out on Sunday with his long-​time and irreverently talented plumber at his side. The issue was quickly diagnosed, the «up and over» copper piping fix was agreed, the crew showed up on Tuesday, and water was again flowing through the house soon after. It wasn’t cheap, but it was fair and the right thing to do. The key thing is that knowing that you’re in trusted good hands is priceless.

Mark Rolandelli built my master bathroom and expanded bedroom in 2002, and was on time and under budget. So of course, when it was time to renovate my kitchen and add a family room in 2007, I turned to Mark again, and once again, he did a fantastic job. In addition to being on time and budget, he has a great crew that works for him, and connected me with architect Peter Scott to come up with an interesting (but affordable) design. I am happy every time I go into the parts of my home that Mark built!
Finally. just this month, I had a water emergency when the old pipe under the slab in my garage began leaking. I called Mark for a referral, and instead he came out (on a Sunday!) with his long-​time plumbing subcontractor, figured out what needed to be done, and had a crew on site first thing Tuesday morning. My hero!
I would recommend Mark whole-​heartedly.

My bathroom addition is perfect. Mark has nice men that show up on time. The construction site is very clean of debris. He has done soo many of these he thinks ahead of the curve to ensure that obstacles are avoided. I would trust him to do anything to my home.
