I have a PHOBIA of dentists and have not gone in a decade. Horrible I know. I started having horrible issues with my teeth and had to do something. Thankfully my husband recommended Dr Shalaby and he was amazing. They truly knew about my fears and tended to every single one. I have many appointments that I actually will not cancel because I believe I’m in the best hands possible. Fantastic staff and doctor. Super grateful.

I was referred to Rancho Laguna Family Dentistry by a friend and I am so happy with the service. I was told by another dentist with good reviews that I needed a crown. I asked Dr. Tamer Shalaby to take a look and he had the skills to fix my problems without having to put in a crown. I had him remove all the cavity fills I had done by military from when I was active duty and put in porcelain. The works looks great! The biggest thing for me is that I was able to eat with both sides of my teeth later that same day. I have been used to having sore teeth for weeks after having work done. Jennifer is very gentle when injecting the numbing agent to the point that I pretty much felt no pain. The entire team is so courteous and gentle through out the entire process making sure I am comfortable. I am so glad I have found my family Dentist I plan on using for life. Our family loves Dr. Shalaby and the entire staff at Rancho Laguna family dentistry! There isn’t another dentist office that we’ve been to that has been so caring and welcoming to our family. We’ve even stopped going to our pediatric dentist to have our daughter taken care of by Dr.Shalaby. Very friendly office atmosphere. Dr. Tamer Shalaby takes the time to explain all the dental procedures that may be required. This is a very tech up to date office. The latest in all the technical equipment to make the proper diagnosis. Dentist visits can be positive with the care given here!

Dr. Shalaby, his office staff and his hygienist, Jennifer, are all great! I have never met a dentist who is so personable and takes the time to visit to get to know you. Both he and Jennifer work very hard to have their patients feel comfortable; its a small town feel in a bigger city/​area.
Not many people enjoy trips to the dentist office, but if Jennifer cannot ease your nerves, no one could. I am not a fan of needles in any way, shape or form. When Jennifer did my deep cleaning, her gentle application of the novocaine made me feel like needles were no longer a phobia of mine!
Their approach to preventive treatments for long term healthy teeth was also something I have never received from any other dentist. Its always been cleaning, telling me to floss more or what cavities I may have, etc. Jennifer worked to reduce/​improve a couple of pockets I had with antibiotics and mouthwash. She gave me a double thumbs up on today maintenance cleaning/​check-​up.
If you are looking for a dentist office you can feel good about going to, Dr. Shalaby and Jennifer are the best duo around, hands down.

Dr, Shalaby and his assistant Jennifer are the Dynamic Duo of Dentistry! I discovered him last year at his Laguna Hills office. I have always dreaded going to the dentist but my experiences have been very pleasant. They are so caring, honest and so very good at what they do. I believe their charges are much better than my previous dentist and I love that it is a smaller office. Everyone, starting with the receptionist, makes you feel so welcome and they honestly want to make your dental experience a good one. They succeed!!!

I had an excellent experience with Dr Shalaby, he is funny, gentle and kind and I didn’t feel his numbing injections at all.
The whole office is extremely friendly and his price was almost half of what I was quoted at Dr. Flora.

I had a very good experience my first visit at Rancho Laguna Dentistry. Very comfortable and professional for an affordable price. All of the staff is great, even the receptionist was extremely nice and helpful. The hygienist, Jennifer did a great job on my teeth and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I got full X-​rays and teeth cleaning for a great price. Dr. Shalaby gave me the okay and I left feeling healthy. NO CAVITIES! No worries

I have been a patient of Dr. Shalaby for the past three years and have been going to his office in Santa Ana. He recently opened a new office in Laguna Hills which is much closer to my house. I probably would follow him anywhere, honestly. His staff is amazing! Jennifer is the best hygienist i’ve ever had. I never had to wait more than five minutes for my appointment. The office is beautiful and his humor definitely eases a lot of my anxiety. Not to mention, he is the absolute BEST and getting me numb. Always a plus!

This is Dr. Shalaby’s second location, and is so convenient for someone who lives is Mission Viejo. This office is beautiful, and Jennifer the hygienist is awesome. As usual, everyone is great and I leave knowing and understand what has been completed. Thanks Dr. Shalaby

Friendly, helpful, and professional! Their offices are beautiful and the staff are friendly and attentive.
The location was a little difficult to find at first but then again I’m new to the area. Major bonus-​no wait!
