I purchased a 3 room carpet cleaning on living social. The ad said no hidden fees. When the carpet cleaning service arrived they charged an extra $ 25 because we were upstairs. Easy access we live right on alley where he parked. I showed him areas I needed extra attention. He was her at the most 15 minutes. 3 rooms, the fastest I’ve ever seen. The carpet was wet but appeared clean. As soon as it dried, spots came back, and now my carpet doesn’t looked like anyone even cleaned it. I contacted the manager, he said I should of paid extra for deep cleaning, really? No hidden fees! He also had an excuse for everything I told him and refused to make it right. Don’t waste your money with hit the spot!

I chose Hit the Spot because they offer the RotoVac system, but I’d choose them again because of the service and professionalism. They were friendly, arrived right on time, and did a beautiful job on our office carpeting. Paul and Charles took extra care with stains and spots, leaving our carpet looking like new.

They arrived over 30 minutes late. They «cleaned» the carpet. After they left we walked around and saw dirty spots everywhere. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned at all. We were completely shocked. We called and let them know. They were not apologetic at all and just acted stressed out, like we were just burdening them or being obnoxious. They made us feel almost like it was our fault. Nothing was resolved during the phone call. We later sent a text including multiple photos of the dirty carpet. We were told to call back in a day. We called back and they said they would send someone to come and clean the spots. Again, the person arrived late. He came in with a spray bottle and a cloth and wiped at the spots. It did nothing. I will NEVER EVER use this company again. It was a complete waste of money. One of the spots that was left was something sticky and pink. After they cleaned the carpet and the pink sticky spot was still there, I was told it wouldn’t come out. I took a baby wipe and was able to scrub it off myself in about 15 seconds. If your professional carpet cleaning service couldn’t do it, then what is the point?

I gave one star because they just came and left without cleaning my home. They called me the first time and said that they could not come because their car was broken after I moved everything out. On the second time, they came late and just left after looking around my home, the guy named Paul told us we needed a new carpet. When I called their number to ask about his attitude, the guy on the line said that they wanted us to pay more instead of the deal we paid on Groupon and he gave me a list of reasons like he had the excuses for not coming on the schedule and coming late on the next appointment; so I had to move everything back in for second time without my carpet clean and wasting my time for waiting and talking to them. I had to talk to Groupon and they only give me back the credits instead of the money as their policy. Strongly recommend you guys to call them ahead and make these things clear before choosing them: price, your carpet condition, extra charges, and time to make sure that they would not say anything different in the future.

I don’t like giving one star but be aware that this vendor does not treat his groupon customers very well and that he did not honor a previously agreed price for doing my stairs and insisted on charging more. He was actually rude to me by saying he didn’t make any money on these deals and didn’t like doing them, I found it very unprofessional. Because of this I did not let him do my carpets and I have to wonder if I would have even been happy with his work or able to count on his warranty. Might be best to find another carpet service, there are many good ones!

I wish I could give 0 star! I should’ve read the review on Unilocal before I purchase the Groupon.
I am extremely disappointed with the service provided last week. Paul arrived at 11:05am for a 1:00pm appointment. The three bedrooms were vacant and he did not have to move a thing!
He finished his work about 20 minutes for the 3 rooms… yes all 3 rooms! And, he asked for more additional money for the carpet protection in which he did not ask in the first place.
The job was terrible — spots were shown on some of the place, and the carpet was still wet on the next morning !
I usually don’t give a bad review but I just want to share my bad experience with them so other people won’t get ripped off. Service and results were really awful!

Charles and Crew did great job today. Blistering CA heat and they showed up early and got the job done. Extremely affordable and fair, didn’t try to push anything on me. I will use them again multiple times, and eventually for my whole house. Today I had them do my office and the stairs. Stairs looked better than when I just got them done from a chem dry place. Stairs look way better! They were really friendly too and you can tell they take their job and customer satisfaction seriously. Great job! I highly recommend them! And thank you for coming in 97 degree CA heat !!!

Just had my carpet cleaned and am very satisfied with the service. Paul was on time, friendly and thorough. There were a lot of spots and stains on the carpet after having a big party and everything was removed. Very impressive! Areas with normal wear and tear still show track marks, but that it is to be expected. The price was great and service was excellent. I will definitely use them again.

I had a man come out here to do my carpet cleaning I had a groupon coupon and the whole time the guy was here he proposed I pay more than my coupon to have a better cleaning he tried to make sense but the whole time he was here it was insulting with what he would say.
He mentioned I’m paying so little so He going do what he can to clean but not going come out good.
So I noticed he wasn’t even using steam cleaning, his cleaning was horrible. And service was absurd.- not great service from these people! Horrible!!!

I booked Hit the Spot to come out and clean my carpets after having reviewed their website about their process as well as their equipment. Online it says that they use a truck mounted steam extraction method as well as it appears that they use a rotary style wand as opposed to the traditional straight style wand, I say this because they have a video explaining why the rotary wand is better.
When the technician showed up he came with a portable machine (my house is very easily accessible with a truck mounted unit) and immediately he tried to upsell me for a disinfectant «package.» I told the technician that I wanted a truck mounted machine because that’s what they advertise and they are much more powerful.
The reason for two stars and not one is because the owner of the company was apologetic and accommodating but after the sour taste that the technician left in my mouth with the upsale and trying to convince me that the portable was as good as the truck mounted I respectfully cancelled out appointment and went with another company. Just be careful and when booking be very clear that you want what they advertise on their website.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided last week. Paul arrived at 8:30am for a 9:00am appointment, and complained that he was being asked to work on a «Holiday» (Friday, July 3rd), when the appointment was booked days in advance.
We had pre-​paid via a Groupon, and then we got a litany of «other» needs for the carpets. I tried to reduce the costs by declining one of the services, but he said «oh, that service will be free…» What a scam.
The pre-​spotting was a joke… a few sprays throughout the area, then Paul was out the door on his cell phone. Brought in the portable machine (specifically requested to prevent our elderly cats from jumping out the outside doors)… and still had to open all the doors inside to accommodate the long hose because he didn’t want to move the machine inside the house.
The job was terrible — spots were still all over the place, and the carpet was still wet when I went to sleep at 10PM!
I am not usually a complainer, but this guy and this service was really awful!
