I went to this bar with my coworkers on a Friday night and there was surprisingly a good amount of people at around 8 pm. This place is a dive bar. They offer free peanuts and people just throw the shells on the floor. We got a couple of pitchers of beer and nachos. The nachos were very normal. It kind of felt like they got chili from a can and microwaved cheese with it. Overall, I think this place is good if you want to grab a couple of beers after work but I wouldn’t get food there.

Seriously why have I never been here?! This place is amazing for a quick drink or beer on your lunch. I came here with a coworker for a drink and it got busy after a few minutes. I was surprised that they had Pinot Grigio and that it was a decent label. Next time I hope to try one of their sandwiches they looked good!

This review is based on one visit. I came here for lunch with a colleague from work. We had both heard about this place from other colleagues. This is a pub/​sandwich shop with peanuts were on the table and beers on tap. We both had the Italian Sub and we were both pleased with our sandwich. I ordered some fries and they were experimenting with a greaseless fryer. The fries came out and they were OK. They tasted like they were baked in the oven.

Great local watering hole!
They have cold brew and, as the name implies, roasted peanuts to chomp on. But. .. don’t fill up on the nuts as the real jewel here are the sandwiches. The owner suggested the Tuna the first trip there and I was impressed with the flavor and the quality. Next time there, I had the Italian (cold) and again was amazed at the quality. I guess my expectations weren’t that high considering the cheap prices charged for these selections. The pizzas aren’t half bad either and we enjoy them on Tuesdays!
Nothing fancy here, just good food for a good price and a place to hang out for a bit.

This place just keeps getting better and better! Wanda the owner has really been working to make sure the help is top notch and the food has really stepped up a notch from years gone by. Keep in mind this is a neighborhood place and not Five Crowns. Go here to enjoy the Cheers atmosphere and the pleasure of a low key friendly place that will do all they can to help you enjoy your visit. And don’t be surprised if you get a bonus Chocolate Chip Cookie!

Great sandwiches. Really a unique bar/​deli. If you’re sick of the same old chain restaurants then try this out.
Throw the peanut shells on the ground, have a beer and a sandwich and relax with sports paraphernalia all around.
I worked here 15 years ago. New owner with a few new additives. Have fun. 5 stars.

Woke up this morning craving a deli sandwich and wanted to have a beer too. My fiancé and I turned to Unilocal for help :-) and found this place. So happy we did! My fiancé and I split the spicy tuna sandwich on sourdough bread and the Italian sub! They were amazing. The service was great. Our waitress was new she was so cute and sweet! We will be back!

Make sure you set your expectations right before heading out there. It is a small café with couple of middle aged ladies running it. Food is average and priced accordingly. It seems like a sports bar for the neighborhood guys to get together in the middle of the day and nothing above that.

My coworkers and I come to Peanuts for lunch and/​or happy hour. Their Italian sub and spicy tuna sandwiches are both very good. I order either with extra peppers and they definitely don’t take the word «extra» lightly. They have a few beers on tap, which definitely works for me. Whether I’m there during my lunch break or happy hour, they never let me down.

Just went to get lunch and if it weren’t for the young woman there I would have left. The old woman there is so rude. I walked in and she never acknowledged me for about 5 minutes I just stood there like an idiot. I was about to turn and leave when the younger one came over and smiled and asked if I had been helped. I Love the food, but service from the older ones is terrible, just have to say pick your visits here carefully. The young ladies there are so nice and again the food is good. Love the spicy tuna.

The local pub and deli with your cheers like friendly atmosphere. Pizza on Tuesdays, lets just say you don’t want to miss this little italian lady sharing her talents! Best pizza I have had in the US… yes, in the entire US and I lived in NY for awhile and am not a chicago style fan. The beer is super cold and more affordable than other joints — wide selection. Word on the street is that the spicy tuna is also awesome — I just dont do Tuna. :) Cheers!

I really liked this bar. I have known about it for years and never gone. It is a little out of the way (although at one point I did live within walking distance of it), which should tell you that they must be doing something right to have stayed in business this long. The regulars are really friendly and the bartender was great fun to talk to. I am sorry I took so long to come.

Love love love this place! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. The service is awesome and the staff makes you feel right at home. I think that might have something to do with the awesome owners!
Hands down one of my favorite places! I would definitely recommend stopping in and grabbing a beer or two!
