I had the opportunity to meet with Stuart and his very capable team this week, and I am so impressed with the integrity of this business Owner. So many auto repair shops are not honest, and, bill for more than they actually do. This shop is clean, neat and very efficient. I really like the fact that it is family owned and operated. I am telling all my clients and friends that when they need work done, whether it is brakes, engine problems or just an oil and filter change, that this is my first choice of places to go from now on.

I have no doubt they did good repair work, and prices seemed comparable, but when the owner himself says he will follow up with you by phone, you expect to hear from him. He did not follow up with a simple phone call.
I spent over $ 2200 in a month with them. Then, when I returned for an oil change, they decided to dupe me for synthetic oil, knowing full well I change my oil every month and it was totally unnecessary. They also told me they would pick me up when car was ready, but never called me. I had to take a bus to pick up my car at very last moment.
They have no integrity and I will not return to this place.

I had an amazing time just talking to the owner about family and that is the reason he started this repair shop is so that anyone could feel safe bringing their vehicles here and not have to worry about being ripped off. I had a «friend» work on my car and it worked for about 6mo. It felt a little funny when breaking but I thought I just needed new breaks. Turns out the whole wheel assembly was loose and I had lost two bolts and the rest were loose so I could have lost my whole tire and half the assembly while driving. Thanks guys for saving my life… I will be in soon for the back breaks you told me about.

These guys is nothing but amazing service and fair prices. What I really like is there honesty which is hard to find these days. I give these guys a 5star rating and will recommend them to my family and frinds.

I have been a long standing customer of B&B. I started by just getting the oil change deal off of groupon which was a great deal. Sense then they have become my usual repair shop. Stew is very nice & helpful. My recent experience was above and beyond in customer service. I am a physical therapist for a home care company and drive to patients homes to see them for their care. When my jeep was unexpectedly out of commission and I was stranded unable to get to work, stew actually let me borrow his own car to use. This was completely unexpected and amazingly nice. I greatly appreciate the continued car and will remain a loyal customer.

Stu and his staff are very understanding and professional. I was impressed by the honesty and integrity of the owner and his staff, and my car is running great. The owner was very thorough, and took his time to explain the issues with my vehicle so that I could understand them. It was my best experience with an auto repair shop that I have had. As a female, I feel vulnerable when I bring my car in for repair and worry about whether unnecessary maintenance will be suggested. It was refreshing to find that not every shop is like that!
Highly recommended, but do book in advance. The appointments fill up fast, but they fill up for a reason!

My car has not driven this smooth in a LONG time! I was referred here by a friend, and drove a bit to get here, but was well worth it. I was concerned, and a little skeptical (at first) about the cost when I received the estimate, but they were honest with me and worked with me through this whole process. Stu and Brandon had great customer service and were patient with me, and I believe the guy who worked on my car was Will… My car was done promptly, and drives great! I will most definitely refer people here! Thank you guys!

I think these guys do pretty good work but my problem with this place is in the time it takes. An hour for an oil change is ridiculous! The staff seems to go through a lot of turnover which to me signals that there might be some problems. I trust them with my car but don’t usually have that amazing of an experience coming in here. The owner seems pretty decent and like a straight shooter. I do recommend my friends to go here.

They have great customer service! I bought an oil change package and had never been to B & B before. They did a full check up on my car that included tire rotation and checked transmission fluid and battery along with some other things. When I came to pick up my car they printed out a sheet that had any kind of concerns or issues with my car on it. The staff explained everything very clear and didn’t charge me above what I was originally suppose to pay. They are very reasonably priced and seem to know a lot about cars. I have been back since my first oil change and I will continue coming here. This is a locally owned company which is even better. No dealing with high end dealerships!

I originally went to Hummel’s a couple of years ago because I needed a minor repair done to my car. I was given a quote on what needed to be fixed, but then received a call saying they had to do «additional work» because the car was not driveable and needed a major, expensive repair. I asked how that happened in the matter of a few hours, and they said they must have missed it in their initial evaluation. I said I would not be paying for those repairs as they were not part of the estimate I was given, and the owner, Stu, proceeded to scream at me over the phone calling me a liar. When I arrived at the shop, the mechanic apologized for Stu’s behavior, and they agreed not to charge me for the repair.
I went back again in December of 2014 due to a Living Social oil change deal and in the hopes of giving them another chance. My car smelled like burning oil for several days afterward, and then I noticed an oil patch on my garage floor. I brought it to Midas (where I normally go), who said I had a blown head gasket and they asked where/​when I had the oil changed last. I told them, and they said that it was possible that this happened because the oil reservoir had been overfilled. Stu will respond to this review saying that’s not possible. I take my car to a mechanic because they are supposed to be the experts, so if they tell me something, I believe it. I also have better things to do than fabricate stories to write on Unilocal.It cost me $ 2700 to fix, at which point I wrote my original negative review for Hummels. I then received a call from Stu asking me to remove my review and give him another chance. He explained how he didn’t think he was at fault, but said he would give me a credit in his shop for the amount of my invoice. Against my better judgement, I decided to give him a THIRD chance, which I never do for someone who has lost my trust.
I returned in April for oil change. I dropped the car off at 9 a.m. and shortly after 2:00 I received a call from Stu saying the safety evaluation was done. He mentioned there was a ‘slight noise’ in the engine, and that it wasn’t constant or loud, but that he thought it was due to the work that Midas did on my car when they fixed it in December. I have not heard any noise coming from the engine at all. There is a 12 month warranty on the repair, so I told him I would return it to Midas if necessary. My car wasn’t done until 3:30, at which time he called again and said I didn’t need to bring in the invoice, that he’d prefer I email him a copy.
The next day I emailed Stu the invoice, as promised. A few hours later I received a call from Midas, saying that Stu had called them and asked who had told me that overfilling the oil was the reason for the head gasket repair. The manager there told him the name of the gentleman that helped me that day, who apparently no longer works there. Stu then went on to tell them their people can’t be telling that stuff to customers, etc., and that now he had given me a credit at his shop for a repair that he didn’t believe was his fault. So even after he offered me the credit in writing and over the phone, he was still looking for ways to get out of it. I apologized to the manager at Midas and explained the history. He told me this was not the first time he’s heard of Stu treating his customers this way. He also said that he had never known overfilling to cause a head gasket blow, but that the oil was leaking so badly from so many places that there’s no way the Hummel’s mechanics should not have caught that when I brought it in for the oil change and notified me of the severity.
Stu called me and told me he had called Midas, to which I replied that I already knew that because they had called me. He once stated that he didn’t think the repair was their fault, but that he would still stay ‘true to his word’ and give me the credit. Ok, so why go to all of that effort and completely anger me in the process? I spent HOURS on the phone with this man over the course of this debacle, and Stu asked if he could just take «3 more minutes» of my time to explain. I told him there was nothing further I wanted to hear, and that I was hanging up, which I did. He then preceded to send me TWENTY FIVE text messages as well as an email. I’ve had to block his work and personal cell phone number from my phone. I have also asked him to remove the credit from my account and my name from his customer database. Yes, I’m turning down $ 2700 of FREE repairs to my car-​basically an extended warranty– because I don’t trust Stu or Hummel’s repair at all. Check my other reviews– I write ultra positive reviews and everything in between. I’m just here to help the public make an educated decision, and hopefully sharing my experience will assist in that. I stick to the FACTS and let people draw their own conclusions.

Super friendly and awesome service! I just had a lot of work done on my Jeep, and I’m extremely pleased. They are very thorough in giving detailed information on the repairs. I’ll be taking all of my vehicles back there for the years to come!

Yargles! The shop mounted and balanced new off road tires for one of our trucks for free for us because we’ve been there before and the aftermarket wheels are not easy to balance did us a favor.

This is by far the best auto shop in town! The owner Stu is just wonderful which you can see trickle down through the employees. They take their time with the vehicles and in my experience they give honest reports back. You also can’t beat free coffee and a shuttle service for those who don’t have the time to wait. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Great Groupon and very cheap rate for oil change. Be prepared to wait like a dealership, takes a good 1 – 2 hours for an oil change. Customer service was pretty standard.

Started my car one day not too long after getting my timing belt and water pump replaced at B&B Automotive, only discover that the steering wheel was entirely inoperable! I wasn’t sure if it was just a side effect of the season’s first frost or the inevitable result of an undetected leak, so I immediately called my new go-​to for auto repairs to get it checked out. Jason from B&B Automotive coordinated a tow-​truck to pick up my vehicle that same day. Stuart (the owner) not only footed the fee for the truck, but also replaced the pesky steering fluid hose free of charge since I had just gotten some expensive repairs done not even three days before. Once again, my husband and I were given full use of the company’s vehicle, a complimentary service that was a godsend since I needed to catch my flight later that evening! The repairs took a little longer than expected, since a part needed to be special ordered from the dealer, but Stuart kept me aptly informed every step of the way. I didn’t worry for a second while I was on vacation, since I knew my car was in good hands.
After all of recent tumult with my car’s condition, I can’t say enough good things about B&B Automotive. The staff and the service are impeccable! After all that they’ve done for me, I wouldn’t dream of taking my car to any other place.

Awful customer service and don’t know what they are doing!

Had my oil changes done here which were cheap and well done.
However, BEWARE IF YOU ARE A FEMALE.
I recently had to get repairs done for my car. They were going to charge me over 100 to replace 4 SPARK PLUGS! And over $ 400 for the vent control valve repair. When I came in with my boyfriend they dropped the $ 515 repair to $ 250. We decided to repair this ourselves and the total cost for the spark plugs was $ 20, taking a total of 20 minutes. The vent control valve was $ 40 and took maybe 2 minutes to replace. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone.

This is a great shop with great rates and excelent customer service. I will tell anyone in the. denver area that needs auto repairs done to come here for sure. I will definately use this shop again if I am ever in the area and need work performed.
Also GREAT deals on oil changes. I would rate 10 stars if I was able to

I had my little Trooper ’96 Honda Accord two years before the engine decided to completely fall apart.
The whole situation was very stressful and I had only gone in for a simple oil change. My car stopped running at one point and I wasn’t sure if it would get back to working order. One part of the experience that really helped was Stu his employees and his mechanics and my boyfriend always keeping me in the loop (which helped with my stress and worry) and explained things so that I could really understand and let me step into their garage multiple times to visually see each step.
I learned A LOT about my car, a lot about the importance of keeping up with car maintenance. As a woman who absolutely hates to be talked down to at the mechanics, it was very important that they understood me, that this was my first car and that I was eager to understand how to take care of my car.
The pricing for how incredibly extensive of a process my car was for them, it was very very reasonable.
Again, it was a great learning experience. Stu has plenty of great stories to share from his 20+ years experience. Everyone at B&B is very personable and understanding. I’m sure my boyfriend would agree. So there’s a review plus 1!

I walked in for a $ 9.99 oil change (yes, they offer those!), and walked out with a $ 925 bill. Say WHAT, you say? Yeah. Kind of a bummer, but it’s not B&B’s fault. See those five stars up there? My car needed ever last penny of that work… it’s 12 years old and really, it was overdue. Had I taken it for an in-​and-​out quickie, corporate factory oil change, those people probably wouldn’t have even acknowledged the massive amounts of power steering fluid pouring out from underneath my car, and just tried to upsell me to their premium oil like the Grease Monkeyin’ Robots they are.
So, yeah. It’s always a bummer when you have to shell out hundreds of dollars to keep your car running… but look at this this way: if you don’t handle it when it needs to be handled you could end up broken down in the middle of Nebraska, on a desolate highway, near a maximum security prison (do not pick up hitchhikers!), alone, in the middle of the night. No thank you.
In addition to offering the $ 9.99 oil change (book an appointment, you’ll need one), they also have a free shuttle service. The owner, Stu, is really nice and will take the extra time to sit down and explain, point-​by-​point, exactly what’s going on with your vehicle. He’s a straight shooter, which is always appreciated in an auto shop! He also looks like a sober, more-​put-​together cousin of Zach Galifianakis… which is cool.
