Came here during posted store hours, and the place had lights on, but gate closed and locked. No sign saying they would be back soon or anything like that. I waited for awhile before I gave up, unfortunately no one showed up. I checked store hours before I headed down there, so I didn’t think I needed to call ahead to make sure. I wasted my time, and gas driving all the way to this place. My advice… Call ahead.

Amazing! Chuck is very professional and knows what he is doing. I’ve been here a lot. All and all the shop is pretty decent. I always go to Chuck when I need a new ball or other stuff. He’s drilled 4 balls for me and they have all been spot on and very well done. Highly recommend this place. Just be sure you go in when Chuck works. The other guys are decent. Chuck just goes the extra mile.

This is the bowling supply store inside Cal Bowl. I’d been in here a bunch of times over the course of my bowling career, and never had a bad experience. Recently, I brought my mom in because she was going to buy a bowling ball after not bowling for 24 years. The wonderful experience we had prompted me to write a review.
My mom picked a bowling ball based on the color alone. The employee helped her pick out the right weight ball, measured her fingers, drilled the ball while we waited, had her toss the ball to him in the carpeted hallway to make sure it felt alright, sold us a bag, internet price matched said bag, then carried it all out to the car in the rain.
Top notch.
