Their 25,000-square-foot showroom features the latest designer home furnishing products from more than 140 manufacturers under one roof. Furniture Market provides an array of styles from traditional to transitional with a modern flair. From designer to custom-​built pieces, every product featured is truly unique, as customers will never find multiples of the same pieces on the showroom floor. Also, each piece is fully customizable from fabric to buttons, allowing customers to create one-​of-​a-​kind signature pieces.

The team of experienced designers offers in-​store and in-​home design consultations to help customers create a perfect retreat. From beginning to end, Furniture Market’s showroom offers an array of unique designer products to make your retreat complete.

History

Established in 2007.

In 2000 Robert and Liz Werner opened their first business, Antiques at the Market, and began leasing space within their store to local antique dealers.

In 2007, additional retail space became available next to Antiques at the Market, providing the Werners with the opportunity to expand and diversify into a new area of home décor and design. The Werners decided to open Furniture Market to provide new and unique designer furnishings not offered in standard «mass-​merchandising» furniture stores. Featuring styles from traditional to transitional with a modern flair, customers will never find multiples of the same pieces on the showroom floor and every piece is fully customizable from fabric type and color to stitching. With the growth of the company over the years, they have expanded their retail store to include interior design consultations by adding a staff of experienced and professional interior designers to help create a fully customizable home-​design service from start to finish.

Business Owner

Las Vegas natives, husband and wife team and co-​owners of Furniture Market Robert and Liz Werner have deep ties to the local community. Liz is the daughter of a casino owner/​operator and Robert is the son of a florist who ran A French Bouquet Flower Shoppe – the largest floral company in Las Vegas for many years. As children of prominent businessmen, they were raised with a genuine work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to build something within the Las Vegas community. In 2000, the couple opened their first store, Antiques at the Market, followed by Furniture Market in 2007.

Both Robert and Liz are University of Nevada, Las Vegas graduates and belong to several local business and interior design organizations including: Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Western Home Furnishing Association, and Architectural and Decorative Arts Society. The Werners are proud of the two businesses they have built together from the ground up.
