Groomingdales

I took my dog back to the Groomingdales on Cheyenne and Rainbow, even though I wasn’t pleased with the haircut as done the first time. When I tried to talk to the manager about what I would like in the future, she went into a tirade, tore up my card, and cussed me out. I have not been called a B_​_​ch since I was a teenager, and was never called a C_​_​t in my life. I honestly feel this lady is in need of help and I’ve been trying to reach someone in charge, but to no avail. In the meanwhile I would not recommend taking you pet here — or if you do, keep away from the manager/​owner.

Wow! So, I have taken my fur babies to other groomers and they would leave shaking and fearful of them… and the work done was mediocre at best. Today, I tried Groomingdales and the experience was completely different. They listened to my concerns for my elderly dog and they were very careful with him. You could tell everyone really cared about them. When I went to pick them up, they looked and smelled great! And… even better… their tails were wagging and they were happy! Thank you for the great service… you’ve earned a repeat customer!

I love this place! Always takes walk ins and they are always really fast. I’ve never had a problem with any of the staff. They take care of both my babies. I have a yorkie and a shih tzu. They gave them the cutest bows and scarves for xmas! Definitely my go to place!

I couldn’t have been any happier with my dogs haircuts. They smell very clean and sweet when they come home. I give this place a thumbs up

my dog doesnt even like me on any given day and she was fine with the groomers there. my bella came home so clean and happy that I’m set on Groomingdales as our new groomer.

There can not be a better groomers, from the first time we walked into this place my apbt and I were welcomed with open arms, everyone is extremely friendly, caring, & professional. Always super accommodating. You can see the love and pride for the animals. I’m always very pleased with how my Harley Quinn comes out, soft, smelling good and the best part she loves going and getting pampered. I refer this place for many reasons, one being the crazy affordable price.

Shonna rocks. My dog loved her so much she didn’t want to leave. I think she is trying to dig a hole under fence just so she can run back to Shonna. Lol. Seriously they did a great job my chihuahuas nails were way too long and she cleaned up my dog perfectly. See you in a few weeks

Shauna is the real dog whisperer. She not only does an incredible job grooming your dog she also will treat your dog with respect and love it as if it was her own. I have been using her for about 6 years and followed her to Groomingdales from her previous job. Our dogs hate going to the groomers but when they see Shauna they wag their tales and let her take them away. Everyone else at this location are very friendly and all said hello when I was in the store.

I took my dog here for the last 4 years. My dog is always is clean fresh & happy when I pick her up with perfume bows, bandana or both .She did get a cut on top of her head last time which I wish they would have told me about instead of me thinking something is growing out of her head. I tell them how I want her cut and they always do it the wrong way but she turns out cute! I love the owner !!! He always makes sure he has great caring employees, if they aren’t he fires them then & there. I’ve seen it !

I have to say, my pug Lola’s nails get pretty out of control. I can’t maintain them myself. That staff at this Groomingdales location is amazing! She is always treated so well, pampered and they are so nice to both of us! This price for «the works» is amazing for all they do! I’ll never take her anywhere else! I’m am so happy with how they groom my girl. Especially this last time. I had her tail fur trimmed and its the best it’s ever look! She had so much fun, she didn’t want to leave! I’ve read through some of the negative reviews and find them so hard to believe, we’ve been treated with nothing but love and respect. Thank you for all you do for my fur baby! Had the best haircuts my dogs have ever had, by Lance, great customer service I called at two on a Sunday afternoon to ask if they could cut my two dogs hair and they said yes they close at five on Sunday’s and stayed till six with smiles on their faces and the staff was so nice to me and my dogs I highly recommend them so happy and they listened to what I wanted and my dogs looked exactly like I wanted very pleased and can’t wait for Lance yo cut my other two dogs

I love taking my dog Sammie (@theadventuresofsamsam). They always give a good job with making him looking cute! They found a perfect look for him that complements his personality well. And they’re also great at accommodating different hairstyles that fits the season change.
What I love about this place is they’re very accommodating with my schedule, even if I pick up my dog late or too early, they welcome us with a smile! And they seem to take care of every furry clients with love! I have my dog for 2 years and I’ve tried so many groomers but this one is the best and we’ve been going here for months already and this will be sammie’s new grooming home :)

OMG I loved this place (OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE) … Our Tiny 5 lb. Pomeranian (Baby Jack Sparrow) felt the love and compassion from Scott and Dustin the minute we walked into this establishment… he was completely relaxed and felt the love.
Everyone who was picking up their babies was happy and more than pleased with the grooming (the groomers make these fur babies look like they are ready to walk onto the front cover of Dog World Magazine in my opinion! And I have been to MANY groomers… and now that I have found Groomingdales I will not go elsewhere.

I am an extreme artist, sculptor/​painter and a Leo personality, therefore I am sometimes very hard to please and being an artist I know compassion and love for what I create… I felt the complete compassion and love that Scott and Dustin have for their grooming (as this is also an art)…they simply sculpt beauty via grooming and you can tell they love what they do.
I can’t say enough… good about this place… personable, great customer service, a love and caring and compassion for the fur babies… who are brought in… along with EXCELLENT grooming.
I had read the other reviews before placing my own opinions and boy was I surprised? I was like (what?) lol lol… OMG not even! These guys are GREAT! First time there and I will be back… NO OTHER GROOMERS… WILL I CHOOSE ANYMORE! All around it was an EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE… Need I say more.
Thank you so very much Dustin and Scott… you are both AWESOME and we could not be happier with your services. We give you 5 STARS!!! More if it was possible… You made an artist and her Pup very happy… again WE THANK YOU AND YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!

VERY UNPROFESSONAL
Owner looks like he beats up people. He has black eyes, bruising all over the face.
I call at 9 this morning to see if they are open. I was told yes and was asked a few questions about my dog. Then I was asked if I could wait and bring her in at noon. So I said yes.
I go there at noon. The place is a madhouse. The owner comes over and I tell him that I called at nine and was told to come in between noon and 1. He looks at my dog and says «Well. she has to be shaved.» I said «Yes, I know. Is there a problem?

I am trying to be nice, asking if I need to bring her back, are there too many dogs, just trying to be nice, and the owner goes nutz. He says «Somethings wrong with you! Somethings wrong with you! Get her dog! Get her dog out of here! We arent going to groom your dog, something is wrong with you for asking those questions!»
I ask the groomer if there was a problem because he is telling me that she is matted and he thinks that is a bad question to ask a groomer? So he makes one of his employees go get my dog. He says «If you are going to ask those questions, I am not going to do your dog!»
I cant believe it. I have done NOTHING wrong, except ask if everything is ok. To ask if they have a problem. I am trying to be NICE and he thinks I am being mean? Fruit case!
I look at the dogs they have there, and realise its smart if I leave because the cuts look horrific! I tell the guy «I dont know what is wrong with you! I simply asked if everything was ok. you are telling me there are problems with my dog, and I already knew that. I am sick, I have just gotten out of the hospital because I have cancer and its taken me two weeks to get down here and you are going NUTS for no reason!»
I tell the guy «You know. I came here because I am a lesbian and this is a gay establishment! I drove out of my way to get here and you treat me like this? WHY? I wanted to know if my dog was going to be fine with you and you loose it! Thank god I didnt leave her with a fruit cake like you!

Very UNPROFESSIONAL and a TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE! DO NOT GO HERE!
I brought my dog there around 11am on a Saturday. I received a call around 3pm and was told that she wouldn’t be ready till 3:45, which initially I thought would be ok, but realized I had to be somewhere at 4pm. I called them back and asked if I could come at 3:30, they said «no problem.» Got there at 3:30 and she wasn’t ready, so I waited till 3:45 anyway, but didn’t complain about it. I left and gave them $ 40, which included a tip.
The first of my complaints started as soon as I left the groomer. When we got into the car, my dog shook herself off and little hairs went flying everywhere in my car and on myself. They obviously did not blow off all the little hairs they shaved off.
When I got home, I saw that my dog was uneven in her chest area, so I called the store. I was not calling in a confrontational way, I was calling to ask that I bring her back (another day) to get fixed. I got as far as, «I noticed that her hair is uneven. That’s when the owner started screaming at me, saying, «You just said that you were in a hurry, you’re FUCKING CRAZY. YOU RUSHED THE GROOMER, DON’T EVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN,» then hung up on me. Wow, I couldn’t believe he just acted as unprofessional as he did, but that’s not where it ended.
He called me back, after hanging up on me, 5 min later, to say… «YOU’RE A FUCKING CRAZY, NEUROTIC, FAT BITCH» then hung up on me AGAIN!
WOW! They guy lost his mind, he was hysterical. I highly recommend reading the other bad reviews and judging for yourself how professional this guy is, apparently I’m not the only one he has cursed out.

Fired my pet from services but did it in a unprofessional and confrontational way that hurt my feelings.

I’ll admit I was a little skeptical the first time I brought my pup here, it doesn’t look as nice as some of the over places I’ve been. But since it was highly recommended by a friend I figured we would give it a try… And I’m glad I did! I’ve now taken my pup in five times or so and have been pleased each and every time! They always listen to exactly what I want and my pup always leaves in good spirits!

Excellent customer service and great prices I love this place. My dog always comes home and perfection is what it is.

Love it!!! We’re new to this area and took our beloved boy here to be pampered. We did show up early so as to avoid a wait and were waited on right away. The full service bathing only took an hour and our boy was very happy when we picked him up. The super friendly staff asked appropriate questions (if our boy is social, any special requests or concerns, etc) and wrote down our preferences on our info card. Looks can be deceiving but keep this in mind: A fancy shop requires more maintenance which results in higher prices for customers. This place does accept cash only, however it is well worth that minor inconvenience.

Very UNPROFESSIONAL and a HORRIBLE experience!!! I would never take my dogs back here again. Called them at 9:30 asking if we need an appointment and they said no just bring your 3 dogs in.
I get there at 10:30 and the girl at the front inspects my dogs and says they should be done around 2:30 — 3:00. I call them at 2:45 and they said they should be done around 3:30 — 4:00. They did look busy so I gave them until 4:30 to come back.
I walk in at 4:30 and I still see them working
on one of my dogs. I thought they were finishing up but then they tell me they didn’t even start on the last one. They said it would be another hour before they would be done.
Instead of apologizing they went on the defensive saying my dogs were matted up and that they were too busy and that I should have let them know that time was going to be an issue. 6 hours should have been more then enough time to get 3 dogs done and if it wasn’t a simple courtesy call would have been nice. I ended up leaving with only 2 dogs done and they had the nerve to try to charge me an extra 20 $ saying they had given my 3^rd dog a shower.
