As many«USEDAPPLIANCES» stores out there in Vegas, I do approve and work with Chris, he has been an outstanding expert in this field of «used appliances; service & repair». My realty office has been using this guy for 4 years and hes’ the most honest busness man out there, never cheats you on anything, he tells you the truth if the appliance can be repaired, or not. He gives upfront pricing on his repairs and the repairs are warranted for 3 – 6 months. Overall, with all the other work he gets, Hi Desert the best in answering & scheduling calls, unlike the competition which never seem to pick up nor be on time, I give this merchant a full 5 stars based on my opinions and what I’ve actually seen for the past 4 years. Yes some of his stock is banged up, but were’ talking about«Used Working Appliances». You pay for what you get. Sincerely, Issac C.

I went on line to find Hi Deserts phone # and I also saw the ridiculous bad revue for Hi Desert. I have been their customer since the early 90’s when we were both in commercial center as business neighbors. I have always been happy with Hi Desert, both in the products for an awesome price and the service they provide. With the exception of course when they told me that my fridge from the 40’s was not fixable. But I have kinda forgiven them for that. They are again going to help me with my very old fridge that I bought from them over 10 yrs ago and some new/old appliances that I’l need for my new/old home. It’s true for some people who think only NEW is good, then Hi Desert is not for them. But for those of us that appreciate things that are still good and in many cases better, stronger and more practical than than new, we love Hi Desert. Besides, I am a closet greenie and I can’t stand the thought of discarding or crushing anything just because it’s old or «out of style». Come to Hi Desert and bring your imagination. Jenny W.

Ridiculously high prices for banged up appliances– they’re a bit delusional. It’s not real orderly in the store space– it’s an accident waiting to happen(watch your step or better yet avoid this place). Appliances are being repaired onsite. I think that they collect ones that are left on the street and see if they can fix it, then sell it. Another possible source could be from weekly places or out-of-business hotel/casinos.(I mean, there are just so many appliances stacked on top of each other in front of the store– it’s a mess. It’s almost like watching an episode of «Hoarders.» It’s surprising that they aren’t given a citation because ordinary citizens are sited up to $ 1000 for leaving a mess in front of the home.) The appliances aren’t really clean either. We were in a pinch because we needed a refrigerator after ours went kaput. I suppose that my husband wanted to exercise all options before making a purchase. There were a few other customers– one was making a purchase(yeah– I was surprised too). I didn’t like it. And I wouldn’t go back or recommend it to anyone either.
