We do door repair and replacement, lock repairs and replacement, rekeying and make original keys to replace lost keys for most anything. In our store we specialize in the newer car keys with Transponders and remotes including smart keys for Toyota, Scion, Lexus, Nissan, Ford, Chevrolet, Cadillac, Pontiac, Buick, Honda, Chrysler, Infinity, Acura, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Subaru, VW, Audi and some BMW. In our store we have hard to find keys, padlocks, safes and more. Call for current store hours.

History

Established in 1985.

We started as a mobile service, serving Laurel and surrounding area for 30 years. We opened our retail store 5 years ago. We strive to give the best possible customer service. We have always worked closely with law enforcement in the area and we are their locksmith of choice. We are licensed with the state of Maryland helping in the effort to end the problem with the locksmith gypsies in our area.

Wonderful service from the second I called. The owner was extremely helpful and tried to help me so I could spend the least amount possible. She corrected the mistake that another locksmith company left us with in the matter of 5 minutes and charged us $ 45 for something they charged us $ 165 for. They will be my new go to for any locksmith situation. Highly recommend them!

Who loses their keys to their storage unit? This locksmith company was able to fit me in within an hour on a SATURDAY, but had no idea that I had such a challenging lock. They were awesome and personal AND professional! Will definitely use again!

This place is awesome and so cheap, easy and quick. I drove with a broken taped key for 2 weeks just because I couldn’t bring myself to pay the dealer $ 225 for a new one. So glad I did my research online and found this place. In and out in less than half and hour and under $ 100!

Memorial Day Weekend and what do I do? Lose the keys to my new (to me) motorcycle naturally. Huge bummer to think I can’t ride my new bike on MDW!
After trashing my home and car I begin accepting they’re gone. I called dealerships, recited VIN numbers, searched for key codes… to no avail. I turned my attention to locksmiths, most of which were either not open for business on the holiday weekend or refused to deal with motorcycles.
Enter Laurel’s Lock Shop. Diana took my case at a time no one else would and got me riding for Memorial Day Weekend. Thank you Diana! Her and her husband are well equipped in tools and know-how to solve just about any motorcycle key situation. If that’s your situation, these are the experts for you.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Diana gets the job done for your car keys copied (with sensors).
Yeah the house smells like smoke, which isn’t pleasant, but the cat is really friendly and will take your mind off that.
The only car she told me she can’t replicate keys for is a Benz, but other than that if you need to make a spare key of your car, bring it here!
Her prices will surely beat your dealership or even Home Depot (who won’t even do this right, I’ve heard horror stories of people trying to get this done at Home Depot)
I dropped in to get a copy of my spare key of my 2001 Lexus RX 300 (my original key broke and I lost the actual key but still had the remote censor)
This is normally a pretty risky practice I hear because you want to have the original key if you want to get it copied so it will be more precise, but Diana didn’t fail me.
She took her time as I realized it isn’t easy what she was doing, but after about 15 minutes she got the job done.
She won’t let you leave the place unless she knows it will work as she went out to my car in the rain and tested it herself several times to make sure it worked.
This was for $ 50, which believe me is cheap for this kind of work.
Last thing about this place that is great is the hours. I would normally have to leave work early to go to a place like this, but I’m pretty sure she stays open until 10 pm on week nights, making it really convenient for me to come by after work.

The store is a little smoky, but the service and quality more than makes up for it. Diana is a pleasure to Takk to and work with it. The office cat is very friendly. My keys were done very quickly and at a great price. Their hours are a lot more flexible than any other locksmith which is a huge plus. Highly recommend!
