History

Established in 2012.

Founder and Owner Christopher Weir has been in Junk Removal since 2006. He has worked for the two largest Junk Removal Companies. Having the desire and drive to create his own Junk Removal company, his dream is to provide an environment that truly focuses on Customer Satisfaction and Employee’s happiness. That way, he believes, will bring an unprecedented level of Customer Service.

Hi, I have been working in junk removal since 2006. I have worked for several of the largest Junk Removal companies in the area. During the sluggish economy I separated ways managing a junk franchise to own my own business, and that is when Spartan Junk Removal was born! I believe I could make a better, efficient, and more strategic junk removal company.

On top of owning a Junk Removal Company, I am a college student (University of Baltimore), and I have a toddler! On my spare time I do good for the community, I have done work with Special Olympics since 2005 and I also volunteer making food for the homeless. Community service has been a passion of mine ever since I was very small as I have come from very humble means myself.

Great job! I needed to have several rooms of junk hauled away from a rental property that the renter moved out of leaving a lot of junk. I found Spartan here on Unilocal,called and got an appointment the next day. They arrived within the time they said, quoted me a very reasonable price for the amount of work, and started right away. Job was done quickly and professionally. I would use them again or recommend to anyone who needs junk hauled away.

The guys called in advance to let me know they were going to be a little late and when to expect them. When they arrived they quoted me a fair price and they were done in no time.
I was truly impressed. They removed all the boxes and bags of junk stacked up on my patio, two dressers (one that had to be broken down), a desk, an old model tv, and a couch.

Oh, my gosh golly, Spartan Junk Removal saved my move.
I was l looking to unload two old couches in bad condition and could find no one to take them (not even a donation). I called Spartan the day before my move and they gave me a time window that day. They explained the process and when they arrived they were polite, friendly, easy to deal with, and fast! I paid with my card right there, super easy, and all I had to do was sit back and worry about one less thing.
Extra points to their credit: the removed the couches from a fourth floor apartment. It would have taken myself and a friend much longer.

I called Spartan at 3:00 pm on Wednesday and they were at my parents house Thursday at 10:00 am. We just pointed at what we needed moved and they gave me an estimate and got to work. I can’t tell you what a relief it was to have someone else do the heavy lifting. There were no hidden surprises and they were very quick and efficient. I warned them that I will be calling them again!

These guys truly deserve a 5 star rating. I had a 50 year old cast iron safe to get rid of. It was so heavy. Tyler and Brian did their best to get it on the truck by themselves. But they needed a 3rd man to help so they called Don. Don was on the scene within minutes. With one try between the 3 of them, the safe was on the truck. All 3 guys were very friendly and professional. I had to pay a tad extra than the minimum because of the sheer heaviness of the safe and the extra help needed. That was no problem and actually expected. So, thank you Spartan for a job well done.

We were getting rid of 25+ years of accumulation of «things» that were relegated to the basement and subsequently forgotten. Spartan Junk Removal rendered excellent and efficient service. Quote was to the point and clear, with a paper estimate on company form. The cost was very reasonable. Service was delivered within the time frame given. Work was done quickly by pleasant operators. Used Spartan for a company storage unit that needed cleaning out. It ended up being two truck loads than first anticipated but needed to be done. They left to the dump and had to come back to meet me which was very helpful so we didn’t have to make it another day. From the beginning of setting up the appointment to the work that was performed was swift and expeditious they worked hard at the job! Very polite and funny at times made me laugh! It was a long day for all of us but the job got done. Very fair pricing and went the extra mile to make this job a success. I will be using them again on storage unit #2 and some other company projects. You will not be disappointed if you hire Spartan for your next cleaning project.

We tore down an old tree house and swing set today and was going to haul the debris ourselves in a little pickup. We realized this would take several trips and lots of labor. I found Spartans on Unilocal gave them a call and they picked up EVERYTHING and more within the same day! I was so excited and my yard is absolutely beautiful. Used these guys to empty out my mother’s condo to get it ready for renting after she went into assisted living. Saw the Unilocal reviews and took a chance, since I don’t live in Annapolis and was only going to be in town for a week in mid-​January. Thank you, Unilocal!Chris and his assistant were quick, efficient, and very careful with the property. They assured me that they would try to donate what they could, and they were able to move everything out of the apartment that I needed them to. Very nice guys, and a pleasure to deal with. By far, the best experience I’ve ever had with movers/​haulers.

Excellent work. I selected Spartan based on Unilocal reviews and decided after a phone call to the company, to go with them for a pretty extensive job. I liked that my call was answered by Chris, the owner, and the prices were good compared to others. He also is the one, along with his able helper, who did the actual work. They did arrive within the planned window, calling about 30 minutes in advance, as promised. Mine was a tough job which required bringing heavy items down from an attic and clearing a long ignored porch. It was hot work, no a/​c but they worked efficiently and even cheerfully. I will call them again if I need help and certainly recommend them.

Awesome service! I needed a mattress thrown out, found Spartan here on Unilocal called and talked to Chris, super nice guy. He quoted me a price and I did a double take because I was expecting something much higher based in my research. He explained that he doesn’t have the same costs that the big franchises have that drive up the prices to ridiculousness. Scheduling was easy and simple. Pick up went smoothly. Next time I need something thrown out or moved I’m for sure calling Spartan. If you need something hauled call Spartan right freaking now.

Very happy I used them for my move. They were very accommodating with my schedule and were able to help move all of my boxes and furniture out of my old house in no time. Workers were very courteous and careful with my stuff and even helped fix a broken end of my dresser when I was concerned about it breaking during the move. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.
