Unleashed Unlimited Dog Training

I found Unleashed Unlimited after trying basic obedience classes with my first dog and not being successful. Diesel was not food motivated and seemed to be too smart for his own good — he knew what I was asking him to do but was choosing to ignore me. Then we found Unleashed Unlimited!
At first I was very hesitant to use an e-​collar (shock collar) with Diesel — but after Paul explained how to use them I was on board and ready to go. If we try to ask a friend a question in a noisy restaurant and he doesn’t respond, we can punch him in the face for not answering or we can tap him on the shoulder to let him know we were addressing him… this is how they use the e-​collar: tap the dog on the shoulder to let them know they need to be paying attention, instead of punishing the dog for not performing.
Diesel responded incredibly well — Paul and Tracy were so supportive and so receptive to all my questions and concerns. They knew I was a little scared of the e-​collar and went above and beyond to explain all their techniques and all the reasons behind what they did with Diesel. I went on to use the techniques and strategies they taught me to train Diesel as my service dog. Now, 3 years later, I got a puppy and have been surprised at how challenging it is to train him with Diesel around. I went straight to Unleashed Unlimited and Paul saved the day again! Cooper is now working with his own e-​collar and responding wonderfully! Paul offered to use the last couple private lessons to show me ways to work with both my dogs together moving forward. Paul and Tracy have been wonderful at not just training both my dogs, but also teaching me to train my dogs so I can continue the progress once my time with them is up.
I cannot recommend Unleashed Unlimited enough! The staff is wonderful and they genuinely want you and your dog to be successful.

We brought our very «spirited» Brittany puppy to Paul and Tracey. Being a sporting breed, Koda has a LOT of energy and VERY strong personality. Even though we have had Brittany pups in the past, Koda seemed impossible to control! Following our interview with Unleashed Unlimited, we chose to have Koda live with Tracey and Paul for 3 weeks of training while we were on vacation. We loved the Twitter pics they posted daily so that we see her progress! We could tell that she was not only learning, but that she was having a great time socializing with the other dogs and being treated to trail walks with Tracey and Paul. Upon completion of Koda’s in home training, Tracey and Paul spent time with our family so we could learn how to properly reinforce her training at home. Thankfully we now enjoy walking and playing with Koda! She learned 7 basic commands that have changed the quality of our daily lives. No more running out the front door or jumping up on visitors! It is obvious that Tracey and Paul are incredibly passionate about their training. Koda is so excited to see them during our follow up training sessions! I would absolutely recommend Unleashed Unlimited to anyone who wants quality dog training with results. We are so thankful to have found Unleashed Unlimited!

We looked at several board/​train sites as we were moving into a new house and taking a vacation. Plus this allowed the time for our fence to be installed. We interview each trainer and I was really impressed with Paul, Tracey, and Bailey. Their love of training dogs clearly shows.
At our initial consultation you could see our dog Ace was the most uncontrolled and wanted to play with everyone. We loved the 3 week board/​train program and they had an opening for us that worked out great. We all missed Ace while we were gone but they were always posting pictures and updates via Twitter which our kids loved. Ace always looked like he was having a great time and made new friends.
Upon our return to pick up Ace he was a totally different dog. They worked with us for 2 hours going over what he had learned. We have one more one on one session with them and then I will be taking advantage of the unlimited classes with him. I know with our next puppy he will be going straight back there as they do such wonderful things. It’s nice going for a walk and not have him pull on the leash.

When my husband and I signed up for Unleashed Unlimited, we were nervous that our puppy was too wild for training. Her leash walking was a mess and we were really skeptical that she could even learn the basics. Paul was amazing with our puppy and knew all sorts of tricks that would have never thought of! Our dog has learned so much and thanks to great training, it is so much fun to have her in our family. We are comfortable to go hiking with her, to outdoor restaurants, and pretty much anywhere. We can only sing praises for Unleashed Unlimited!

I can’t say enough about Paul and Unleashed Unlimited. My wife and I had read all the books and tried everyones method and nothing worked with our dog Romeo. We dreaded taking him anywhere due to his behavior and being off leash absolutely wasn’t going to happen. Romeo would rush the door and bolt outside. He absolutely refuse to come when called. In short his behavior was horrible. Due to us living in a rural area with an abundance of livestock present we literally talked about finding him a new home to ensure he wouldn’t harm anyones animals. My wife contacted Paul and made an appointment to have Romeo evaluated. We decided to give Unleased Unlimited a try and I’m so glad we did. Within a couple of weeks Romeo was looking and acting like a different dog. He began coming when called and staying when instructed to do so. Eight weeks later he is able to travel with us and behaves off leash. Unleashed Unlimited, Paul and Tracey thank you for giving us a smart furry kid we can be proud of.

We just finished our last private class with Unleashed Unlimited today and could not be happier with everything we and our dog, Lady, have learned. Paul has been an amazing teacher to both Lady and us! We cannot imagine where we would be without the training Lady has received from Unleashed — we can now really enjoy taking her on walks, letting her off leash, and being with her in the house (thanks to place!). It is such a good feeling to know that you can actually communicate with your dog. Our dog’s life will be so much better after receiving this training because it enables us to do so much more with her. This training is more expensive than other trainings, but worth every penny. I would highly recommend this training program to anyone who wants a well-​behaved dog that they can take anywhere and around anyone, especially high energy breeds. I feel like I need to send you guys a note of thanks for being awesome at your job! You guys have really transformed our lives with Dyson. When we rescued Dyson a few months ago, CJ and I had big plans on all the things we were planning to do with him. A few days into it, we realized that wasn’t going to happen with things the way they were. I look back on those days and I was so stressed out, terrified to take him in public and a little reluctant to actually accept him as a member of our family (I am ashamed to admit that I had second thoughts on our decision to adopt him on more than one occasion). We noticed improvements after the first week of training with you guys but if you would have told me back then that we would be where we are now, I never would have believed you. Dyson has come a long way in the month and half we have been training with you. He is a completely different dog… an absolute joy to be around. We find ourselves gearing our weekends around activities where Dyson can join us and the whole family is happy to have him tag along. Although I know our work with Dyson will never be done, I am so much more comfortable taking him out in public. For me in particular, I am gaining confidence with each outing we have together and I think it can only get better. Paul, I really appreciate your positive reinforcement and encouragement during the polishing classes. It must be so frustrating for you at times to wait for people to catch on to the things you have told them over and over to do. You have the patience of a saint Anyway, I could go on and on about how pleased we are with the results from our time with you guys but I really just want to say thank you. Tracey and Paul are great! I adopted a puppy a few months ago when she was about five months. When I got her she had some behavior issues — she was biting, jumping up, pulling me around on the leash, growling at other dogs, digging in the yard, and was generally difficult. It was so bad that I was to the point where I was considering giving her up. That’s when I started researching and talking to different dog trainers in the area. After the initial consultation with Unleashed Unlimited, I knew that I wanted to work with them.
The improvement in my puppy was immediate and she continues to learn and improve. And after a short time my expectations have been exceeded. Paul and Tracey really know dogs and obviously care very much about them.

Unleashed Unlimited was a lifesaver for us, and probably kept the pup from heading back to the shelter! We boarded our (then) 7-​month-​old German Shepherd/​Golden Retriver puppy with Paul and Tracey for 3 weeks in their board-​and-​train with unlimited lifetime classes program. Was it expensive? Yes– shockingingly so… but worth EVERY penny now!
Before training, our pup was sweet but totally out of control. She would run with no recall, nip at our noses, jump on people, harass the cats, etc. After training, she is able to go everywhere with us on or off leash, visit restaurants, interact with other dogs, be in the front yard without a leash and respond appropriately — the training she received at Unleashed Unlimited made the difference in just tolerating her and completely and unabashedly enjoying her!
Paul and Tracey schedule classes on a very regular basis at their training centers and some even occur on trails or at restaurants, so it adds variety and new challenges for the dogs. They are always available to «tweak» behaviors or offer advice on new issues that arise. The lifetime classes are invaluable in keeping the dogs in line and reminding them of their manners, while giving them a great chance to interact with other dogs and people.
Hopefully I will have this dog for a long, long time but regardless, Unleashed Unlimited will always be my go-​to for any future dog training!!! Now if they would only take cats and husbands…

We enrolled our 7 month old Labrador in obedience training, and we learned how to communicate with her quite efficiently! She is now a graduate with the ability to sit and down (& stay!), place, heel on and off leash, and be managed at varied distances. We are looking forward to learning more in the the Tricks classes.
These trainers have a great ability to manage a variety of classes with different skill levels of people & their pups. In the past, we have taken our dogs through training classes at the pet stores, but this time we wanted to go beyond that and train my lab so that we could trust him implicitly — on or off-​leash — to come anytime we called him and to be well behaved. We did a lot of research and decided to have Unleashed Unlimited come out for a free consultation. We were very impressed by their professionalism and their website (one of the few we saw for trainers that was up-​to-​date consistently). We enrolled our dog in their group class program, and it has been a wonderful experience for both he and us. He loves going to class to learn and interact with the other dogs, and he learned so much so quickly (as did we). Going to classes consistently, it was gratifying to see both our dog’s progress and the progress of other dogs. And Paul and Tracey’s love of the dogs is unmistakeable.
I could not recommend Unleashed Unlimited more heartily. It is worth every penny and then some. And the group walks at parks and the «dine with your dog» activities are invaluable ways to really challenge and bond with your dog.
I can confidently say that if you take your dog to Unleashed Unlimited and don’t get the results you want, it is because you have not been consistent in using the tools and knowledge you were given.

Not only do Paul and Tracey train the dogs, they also train the owners which I think in many cases can be more challenging. Their successful training can be attributed not only to their evident love for dogs but the ability to help the people understand what it is the dogs need to react or respond. Training is not limited to classroom environments however. We have monthly meet-​ups for off leash walks and dining with dogs, giving us all the opportunity to practice our skills in real life with confidence. It has been a great and invaluable experience.

I brought my «firecracker» pittie, Josie to Paul and Tracey for training this year. She has been through basic obedience, but still had so much uncontrolled energy she was jumping our six foot fence and not listening at the dog park. Now that she has been in training with them, she listens! I can finally bring her to off leash hiking areas, feeling confident in her ability to listen to commands. They reach to «real world» environments, not just sit, stay, and come. Their variety of classes (hiking, dining with your dog, off-​leash, etc) helps incorporate our dogs into our life — not just at home. And since many of their classes are off-​site, it feels like a dog social club too! I can’t wait to get my other dogs enrolled.

Unleashed Unlimited help me so much with my dog Maggie. She has really become so wonderful and much more manageable! We had tried two other dog training places and this was really a final resort. We had heard wonderful things from a friend and boy am I glad we tried it!

Paul and Tracy are top-​dogs at what they do. They really understand human/​dog relationships and really get to know their clients, both furry and otherwise. My dog Sam and I really loved seeing them and hope we can start up again after I finish school …

After each class, you can just tell Sam’s dogs are barkin’. He sleeps like a baby after a hard day of intellectual stimulation. They don’t just teach your dog commands and tricks, they teach your dog to think.

Our dog Kayla is the fastest dog at the dog park. If she bolts, there’s no catching her. Unleashed Unlimited has helped us build a relationship with our dog that means we can watch her charge after pigeons until her heart’s content, and always know she’ll return when called. She heals, sits, stays, lays down, and hunts pigeons off leash now. The only one happier than me is Kayla.

We brought our young, hyper, sweet pup to Paul and Tracey last year in the hopes of having better on-​leash and off-​leash control of her. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results! She now has superb recall and we know, without a doubt, that she will always come when called. She is much more well behaved overall, as well. She no longer jumps on guests when they enter our home and she has learned to respect us as her leaders (she is a very dominant dog, so this was no easy task!). We really appreciate the time and effort that Paul and Tracey put into every client and dog. They truly love dogs and do a great job of empowering both dog and owner to be a team.

I can not speak to their expertise, but they are amazingly unprofessional. I spoke to «Unleashed Unlimited» and arranged an evaluation interview at my home. I waited for them at the appointed time. Is was getting late, past the scheduled time, when I stepped outside on the side of my house to get leashes from the car (corner, so on the street). An SUV with a «Unleased Unlimited» sign on the side sped past, I stepped into the street and tried to flag them down assuming they did not realize the location. I returned to the house and tried to call the two cell phone numbers I had to give them directions but no response. My son, returning a little later, found a flyer under the front door, SO assuming that they thought I wasn’t home, I called and left a message to reschedule. No response. EVER. Wow, guess they don’t need the work. Despite the response below I was there (as were my 2 children) the whole time. You might note the tone of his response, and the lack of return of at least 4 phone calls that I made to them shortly after their drive-​by.

Unleashed Unlimited is as good as it gets! We took our to boys to Paul and Tracey and the results are priceless! Before their training there would have been no way we could have taken our dogs to the dog park and let them off their leash. We never would have seen out dogs again not to mention that we learned a lot about dog behavior as a bonus from training. Paul and Tracey not only are really, really good at what they do they truely love all dogs. They make a great team and I’m excited to start the agility training sometime soon.
