I have visited this branch before and received good service by all the employees.

Today was another day I received poor service from a Bank of America teller. Fransisco, a young, opinionated gentleman asked me about the reasons for my transaction in a unprofessional, borderline nosey manner. After inquiring about 3 different details during my transaction, I finally asked if his questions were relevant to the transaction. The answer was no. Upon leaving the establishment, Fransisco and the supervisor at that time were talking and smiling at me and clearly talking about me as they both looked right at me at the same time.
I have now finally CLOSED my account with this bank. Never again will I do business with them.

Monday morning at 9:30am, the line is so long and they only have two bankers and one of them is in training. This is ridiculous!!!
I really should change banks!

no. just no. The bad review is for the fat customer service troll who was rude, unhelpful and cold. My teller was nice but she left such a bad taste in my mouth. I contemplated going off on her and in hindsight I should’ve. ew I can’t stand this bank.

After Few times that X-​Manager made me cry, I tried to Not Enter this branch! X-​Manager told me without an appointment, you can’t see anyone (after 11Y being with this branch…) beside Saturday; All Empls./ Managers who I was familiar with (Angels) left; yesterday, I went there, after few minutes waiting at front desk, an young female came, and I told her that I got a letter, and would like to talk with Mrs. …who I could see is with a male customer; She lied to me and said she had an appointment at 1:00pm, but I can see Another New Female! I told her but Saturdays was without an appointment… that’s why i came today, she responded but someone requested an appointment… it would take 30 minutes; however, again they made me cry… then she said, let me ask to your lady may the customer cancelled the appointment… then, she told me yes, we checked out, the customer cancelled her appointment, you can go in after your ladies’s current male customer leaves!!! As I’m a baby and did believe her lie!!!
Don’t do it to me or other customers again, we don’t like to step in after the ANGELS left anyway… Don’t make people cry, don’t lie, instead try to be helpful. Its free country, you can force customers to see who you want to!!!

This is an update to my previous BoFa review. I recently found out that Alex Loza has been promoted to branch manager at this location. The branch is in excellent hands! Alex tends to each and every customer and goes above and beyond to ensure BoFa customers stay. He exhausts all resources to meet your needs. I’ve seen him deal with some upset customers and he does so with total aplomb and patience. He has a warm disposition and it’s worth driving to this branch. You can tell he inspires the team and it results in a very user-​friendly experience. This is definitely the best Bank of America branch I’ve ever been to in any part of the country.

I like this bank location. The tellers are nice and it’s easy to get your business done. The parking lot is small but I usually don’t have a problem finding parking. This location is clean and not to crowded. There isn’t all that thick plastic between you and the teller so you don’t feel like a criminal either. I would absolutely come here in the future!

Don’t blame the tellers. They are pleasant. Blame a management staff that allows significantly understaffed teller services. The manager/​greeter can walk around, staring out the window and talking socially with other staff, while a long line of customers stand, waiting for a teller. The business model is clear… walk in local customers are not the priority.

Their ATM took my cheques but did not verify it received the cheques on the receipt it printed. My online account also has no record of the cheques. So now I have to wait and see if they will be found and deposited. A true screwup. Do not trust your money with this branch.

Charged me $ 10 to cash a payroll check (from Bank of America) and never gave me a receipt. Turns out they purposely didn’t give me a receipt so that they could charge me a $ 10 fee! I have heard that either the fee is $ 5 or free, but never $ 10. But though I asked for a receipt, and she said she put it in the envelope, she never did. If you overcharge enough customers by $ 5 – 10 each day, that works out to a nice amount of extra cash. Pretty sure they call that stealing.
I know that it is only $ 5 – 10, but it is the principle. Wells Fargo charges no fee for payroll checks or personal checks, which is my basic understanding of how a bank works. If the check is from that specific bank, you are able to cash the check free of charge. Not charge $ 10 to cash a payroll check!
I have had limited interaction with them, just make sure they actually give you a receipt when you ask, and don’t lie & say that it’s in the envelope. And don’t let them charge you $ 10 to cash a Bank of America payroll check — I called management & that is against their policy.
Side note: I was there a full 5 minutes before close, and there were still customers in the bank, but they weren’t going to let me in. Finally they did, and the big clock said 2:01 as I was leaving — they close are supposed to close at 2pm on Saturdays, but lock the doors at 1:45.
My payroll check comes from Wells Fargo, and as long as there are customers in the bank, they will help everyone, even if it is after closing & they NEVER lock the doors early & argue with you. With cell phones we all have the same standardized time, and the doors were locked well before 2pm on Saturday. And then they charged me an extra fee they weren’t supposed to to scam some extra cash. SHADY.
Corporate should really look into this branch & see how awful they are.

Honest I have not been in the branch. This is for BofA & their allowing to have originations to perform adoption events outside their premises. On occasions during the weekend either cat/​dog or both setup shop to give hope for abused, neglected, hoarder,.etc situations. Thank-​you BofA.

Rude staff, undertrained managers, and extremely long waits. I would pass on this and most B of A’s. Parking can also be a nightmare so don’t plan on running in and out. I would recommend the ATMs for your transactions. Mindless machines are better than mindless personnel.

Never have any problems at this bank. If you need a new account, talk to Brigid. She new exactly what type of account I needed and made it very simple.

Friendly and clean branch! I drive past two Bank of Americas to come to this location because the customer service is much better than any other branch, and I am in and out in a timely manner. The management team has always been extremely accommodating, which as a merchant is essential. They always make sure that any problem I have is handled in a expert and timely manner.

I try not to go inside this bank as much as possible but, it is the closest one. They are understaffed for one and the staff they do have is rude. If you are in a hurry plan ahead they usually only have 2 tellers working.

I visit this branch every month or so. As in the past, today I experienced fast, friendly, efficient service (5÷9÷13). After I left the bank, Rocio (the friendly teller who processed my transaction) discovered that I wrote the wrong amount on one of the checks. She quickly tracked me down on my cell phone and asked me if I could return to the bank and fix the check. I returned to the bank a short time later, fixed the check amount and, as a result, avoided a $ 1,800 discrepancy (overpayment) and accounting mess. Thanks Rocio and keep up the great work!

This bank has terrible customer service. There are currently 12 people in line for a teller and 2 tellers working.
It’s a waste of time to be here, with all the fees BofA charges it’s customers, you’d think they could hire more people in their branches.

I use the bank quite often to cash checks drawn on bank of america accounts.
Its seems more like a pet store to me than a financial institution. On the front door there is a sign that says no smoking and no pets except seeing eye dogs, people just ignore the sign and bring their dirty dogs in there and they are interfering with business by smelling my feet in line and trying to rub up against me, and the people working at the bank including the manager does nothing about it, when I complained I was told there is not much they can do because Belmont Shore is dog friendly. I want to walk in there smoking a cigarette since they clearly don’t care that the signs say no smoking or pets. I am sure they would not so easily overlook my contempt for the sign as the rude dog owners do. Leave the dog in the car or don’t bring it to the bank with you. I wished I lived nearby so I could bring my noisy parrots into the branch. I would never bank here and this is one of the biggest reasons.

Beware: slow customer service. I waited nearly 30 minutes until I was fed up with the lack of service (two of the customer specialists were with customers, one was playing with his laptop and two other specialists decided to go to lunch when there were a line of customers) that I went to the front desk and demanded my request.

I’ve been a customer since 1996 and, I must say that overall I’ve been satisfied with most of the services, customer-​employee interactions and help with many dilemmas encountered especially with ATM deposit problems (before they finally upgraded them).
Also, that they now waive the monthly $ 8.95 account fee for balances below $ 1,000, online banking and no direct deposit.
Now yes the Keep the Change program is good, but sometimes I need to transfer monies from my savings to my checking… sometimes a lot. And, I never knew there was a fee for doing so… yes a fee if you go over 3 transfers a month.
Speaking with an associate the other day I was told that this information is in my banking pamphlet; oh really, and when did you send that out to me? Certainly it was not in my original pamphlet when I opened my account because it was not part of [no was there] online banking in 1996.
Oh, I see so I’m supposed to go online and l keep myself informed am I? Well that’s ridiculous, how much in fees have I accumulated? Oh, $ 4.21 and now it’s down to $ 3.75 until the fees are completely paid I get no more Keep the Change benefits?
Silly me, of course I should be expected to do my own research on this matter, yet you’re call center bombards me with phone calls 3 – 4 times a day-​5 days a week with special offers (life insurance etc.) even after I’ve asked you to stop doing so online & over the phone.
I’ve got a better idea, I’m cancelling my Keep the Change program so I will not have to deal with this BS in the future; after the minimal, miniscule amount in fees are paid to you (B of A) I’ll just take out an extra $ 5 and stash it away instead of it being deducted from my card transactions.
So stick that pevish, petulant, pickune BS in your vaults safety deposit box and let the interest give you hemmeroids the size of $$$$$ signs!
