Great service and love that you can replace your card on the spot without having to wait 3 weeks.

Had to cash a check. 1 teller which equates to the long wait. Horrible customer service. All the employees look miserable working. Thats why I love my credit union!
Oh and you cant use the restroom bc its «not open to the public»…unless they know you. smh

Worst bank ever. One teller on Saturday. Really??? moving my accts. ATMs in the lobby? Do you not want to interact with your clients? Awful bank. 10 people in line complaining about their service.

I needed to purchase traveler’s checks since I would take a group of 19 people to Japan. Because of the limit of withdrawal amount at ATM machine, I wanted to take some cash with me but I decided to get traveler’s checks for safety. None of my banks carry traveler’s checks any more. Then I found out that Chase Bank still offer traveler’s checks. I inquired on the telephone with Chase Bank on 800 number and called the branch before I walked into the branch being assured that I can purchase the traveler’s checks without having Chase account. But when I went to a teller to ask for traveler’s checks, the teller said that I was not able to purchase them without an account with Chase. I asked her to talk to the manager, who was right next to the teller (as matter fact, there are only two teller booths in this Chase bank floor), and I was told to wait on another line for her. When my turn came, the manager called another customer behind me and I needed to wait another 10 to 15 minutes. When finally this manager called me, she said that I could not purchase the traveler’s check. As I offered to open a new account with Chase so I could purchase traveler’s checks, she replied to me that she wouldn’t recommend for me to open an account in order to purchase traveler’s checks. Wow! Obviously she didn’t want any patronage from me. Instead of helping me, she was determined to prevent me from getting traveler’s checks for no reason. The definition of the service is totally twisted on this manager’s head. Her unprofessional attitude and her mean demeanor left me with such a bitter impression of the Chase bank business practice.

If you like waiting in line pondering how this place is even in business, this place is for you. Enjoy their 15 minute waits and loud hipster music. They constantly have computer problems, avoid this place, I only have them 2 stars because the place is air conditioned.

When did banks become so ungrateful for your business?
Staff are generally friendly but there is only ONE teller ever. So when you’ve got banking to do it makes you dread going in. It’s taken 20 minutes to see a teller; the line is long and slow moving.
I understand that the direction we are heading points to ATMs but honestly if I could use an ATM for these types of transactions, I would use the one that is conveniently placed outside the bank. The bank has money, enough to spend on staff who will assist customers and satisfy the demands. It’s as if they just don’t care and I really dislike this.
ATMs should be for customer convenience not for penny pinching big business banks to save a buck.

Really bad customer service. The teller looked super angry and did not seem friendly at all. I asked her a question regarding changing my last name on my account and she said she would have someone assist me. I took a seat and waited a few minutes and she just went about her business and didn’t go talk to anyone about helping me. I sat there and not a single person came up to ask me if I needed help. The workers were just chatting amongst themselves and had no regard for me. I will never come back to this chase.

Still horrible service and long line for the teller. Funny how the sign outside says «we have enhanced your customer experience.» I guess that must mean by keeping you inside longer.
Please don’t tell Jamie Dimon they have the air conditioner on when it’s hot outside because he will probably order then to turn it off to save money

Came in to close my account due to some issues I’ve had with Chase. First I waited in the teller line cause there was no one else available to help me. After that I was told to wait to talk to a banker. One of the bankers told me she would be right with me and then talked to her coworker for 5 minutes. She then proceeded to talk to some people waiting in line for the teller for 10 minutes. After that she scurried off to get something from the back and ended up staying back there to be a teller. Finally another banker helped me out. The whole process of closing the account took about 30 minutes. Yes 30 minutes. He went to close the account and wrote the wrong amount which left me with a bit of change in my account. He then had to go back to the teller to edit the transaction so that my account would be fully closed. Such a pain in the butt! What should have taken way less than an hour ended up taking an hour and a half so ridiculous! Luckily I don’t have to deal with Chase’s poor customer service any more!

If you don’t care about using a teller and getting less customer service… if you don’t mind waiting in lines just to see the ONE teller they have, if you don’t mind being lied to… then Chase bank is your bank! If not read on…
CHASE BANK is now going to FORCE customers to use MACHINES instead of real tellers. Yes, you heard that right. They are forcing you.
I used to love this bank. I loved the workers there. I loved that they allowed dogs. But now I don’t like.
That is because they took out all the beautiful wooden teller windows and replaced three tellers with MACHINES. Before they had about five nice teller windows on the inside and two outside machine tellers… now they have only TWO real tellers and FOUR machines. GAG
When this happened I told them I didn’t like it. I come to the bank to talk to a person not to do work on a machine.
Of course, they lied to me. They immediately said «more people are hired because of this». Yeah, right! Another guy said «Oh they are doing it in Europe… it’s what customers want now… you’ll get used to it».
I really did not like how he didn’t take MY feelings into account and was ready to FORCE the agenda onto me.
Anyways, I asked them «you aren’t going to force me to use them are you»?
Answer «no».
Low and behold another lie. I go in… now waiting in a line to see a real person because they took out the tellers for machines and most people do NOT want to use the machines… the teller tells me «from now on for deposits you must use the machine».
I am so disgusted with this! It’s so RUDE! And, of course, they still want to take all the fees away from you!
When I get organized I am going to move to a bank that isn’t going to take away customer service. In the meantime I’ll ask for a dollar so I can get a person.
So disgusted with CHASE BANK that doesn’t care about customer service!!! So disgusted how they took away friendly tellers and squeezing us the customer. I hate their cold responses too. Just so fake and phony and not caring. Blech.

NEVER COME IN HERE!!! Absolutely the worst service I have ever had. Was told to sit and wait for a banker. There are 7 employees that have come past me with no customers and I have yet to be acknowledged nor helped after 30 minutes of waiting. Just use an ATM or change banks lol

This is by no means the teller’s fault but the idea to go with automated tellers with an area that has a high demographic of senior citizens is asinine! I waited over 20 minutes to handle some work with a teller and another 20 minutes to have a banker reprint a chipped card. After this event I will no longer patron their place of business.

Twice now I’ve walked into this branch and nobody greets you and there are no tellers. Nobody that works there even looks at you.
After waiting around about 10 minutes, an unpleasantly rude teller comes up to sort of help.
I’m pretty forgiving of people if maybe they had a bad day, but I come back a few days later and the teller is still acting like she’s too good for her job and to actually… do it.
I’ve always had a good experience with Chase but this place is really strange.

Came in to deposit cash into my Mothers acct, but because I am not on the acct they would not accept the cash. With a confused look on my face I asked the teller why that was since I had done this monthly for years. She continued to tell me it was a new law blah blah blah. She asked me if I had an acct with them so I could just use my card, which I did not have an acct with them. So instead of asking me if I wanted one, she pointed to the Rite Aid and told me «You can go next door and get a money order, they’re like a dollar.» I semi-​jokingly/​frustrated said that I didn’t understand why they made that a law in the state of California when cash is the easiest transaction (IMO) and she replied with «you can write a letter to our Congressmen then.»
Instead of her having some snarky comment like that, she may have tried simply asking me if I’d like to join Chase… which I would have most likely done considering my Husband is an acct holder and like I said, I do this transaction monthly. So out of pure convenience for myself I definitely would have.
But thank you for the terrible experience, and not the first one.
By the time I got back with my money order from across the street she was tucked away in her office. But I will update my review with a name when I get one.
I’m not a fan of Unilocalers who only feel the need to write a review when they have a poor experience. I truly do hate that. But this is not my first experience with this location and if there was something nice to say I would. Only thing I can say is the teller that helped me when I got back was quiet and quick which I guess I’d prefer over my first interaction today.

Wow. Outside ATM kept spitting my money back at me so I went inside for customer service. Guess what, not one teller there! Looked around, waited, nothing. Empty teller stands. There’s clearly 2 people standing in the middle of the bank looking like they need assistance but obviously they didn’t care. Finally seemed out a manager at his desk but he didn’t seem too concerned. Said someone should be there soon. 7 minutes without 1 person coming to assist nor going to fill the teller position. Finally the manager comes through with another manager looking guy and he just looks at us blankly. Literally says nothing and then walks on. When I ask if someone can help us he said someone would come soon.
Seriously??? Two different guys not doing anything! Neither of them could take our money and put it in a bank??? Unbelievable.

What happened to this branch? I’ve been going here for years and everyone who works there has always been wonderful, but the last 6 months have been awful!
They recently remodeled and now have only 2 actual teller spaces, no business teller, and 2 automatic tellers. There is usually only one teller working and the other is always «on a break» which leads to horrible long lines. They have new people working who come up to you in line and question you and make you feel stupid for not using the automated tellers. They’re really passive aggressive. I don’t know about everyone else, but the reason I go into the bank is for customer service. With a human. That I can speak with. I guess the new policy at this branch isn’t about customer service, it’s about the customer accommodating the bank.

Why they got rid of actual bank tellers and replaced them with machines is beyond me. I would never trust an ATM with a large cash deposit. The people working are fine, I’m sure it’s some penny pinching yacht driving, corporate pigs who made the decision to cut back on bank tellers.

They tore out all the teller stations and replaced them with two teller stations and two self-​standing ATM machines that possibly do more than the ones outside. If on a Saturday the line’s out the door the maximum tellers available is two. Smooth move!

People need to relax and give these folks a break. They are always really friendly and very kind. Some folks in the cubicles should contribute (if they are free) when the line is horrendously long. I’ve seen them hanging in a cubicle and laughing when the few tellers are bombarded. I do notice they sometimes look over and continue to chat with other employees, which doesn’t seem fair. They might consider what Wells Fargo does down the street. They always have a greeter, who chats and entertains while you wait. Then they introduce you to a teller. Such a friendly touch. But all the Tellers are really awesome. They hustle and works their Butts off.

Chase is full of idiots. I went in to wire some funds There are seven people standing around and the one person who was authorized to do wires was «busy» talking to her friend. Waited 20 minutes. They suck!!!
