My sister and I just came from BR. We got a cookie ice cream sandwich to share. The ice cream cookie was good. The reason why I am rating this particular BR low is for the customer service. Normally, I am not a picky girl. I am always doing small talk with employees wherever I go. They probably had a bad day right? Anyway i greeted the girl did small talk but she was rude. Every time I asked her something she looked extremely annoyed. My sister and I asked her politely if she could cut our ice cream cookie in half and she looked more annoyed. She did not respond. She just grabbed the cookie from my hand. I understand probably she has been having bad day but people still need to be treated with respect. And you can have a bad day but still have good manners there is no need to be mad at everyone. Anyway not coming to this BR again. I could not even enjoy my ice cookie sandwich.

Ice cream is great, but terrible customer service. The girl kept getting bothered and rolling her eyes when I asked her to sample of ice cream flavors. She was completely rude and I had to keep it to myself. It’s terrible to come across employees like that. She should be working at the Garbage Truck company picking up trash. Horrible!

I love going on my days off in the mornings. Amy and Vicky are my favorite. They are always with a smile and very helpful. Always very clean inside and their cakes are always on point.

I tried not to hype this one up too much in my head, but we finally made it to a BR and I gotta say, it was worth the trip to try this fresh take on my beloved Cookies ‘n Cream ice cream. First off, it looks great and it tastes super fresh. The neat thing is that this is still more or less cookies and cream but it has this nice caramel swirl that has salted peanuts buried in it. It totally rocks the classic CnC vibe while adding nice caramel undertones and then hits you with the salty peanuts here and there. It’s really top notch stuff. I completely inhaled this double scoop bowl of ice cream before my daughter was even half way done with her bowl(and that was after slowing down on the last several bites). Just look at the nice gooey swirl everywhere. I really did expect the caramel to dominate but no, it supports and enhances, it wins the day for me. I also adore the mix of big soft Oreo chunks mixed in with tiny crumbs everywhere. It’s the way you make Cookies ‘n Cream, no exceptions. Man I love fresh ice cream.

Baskin robbins is pretty good. They have good flavors herr. I like pistachio flavored ice cream and theirs is good. Their milkshakes and malts are delicious too. The problem is that they’re overpriced. Regardless of that, this br is pretty good. It is conveniently and the staff is really friendly too.

Having lived in the LBC for over 11 years, it is weird to think that my first trip to this BR was just the other day. To be clear, the main reason are there are two BR unusually close to each other and candidly the other one has been winning out. I must say, I am partial to this location though. It is bigger and thus actually 31 flavors and the service was good. I don’t hit BR all that often but this will be my default location going forward…

I have fallen in love and you will too. Because the Chocolate-Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches are good. Really good. They remind me of my favorite ex-girlfriends: delicious, sweet, sometimes cold, coveted by many, an interesting blend of natural and artificial ingredients, soft in all the right places, and absolutely terrible for you. Seriously, the combination of self-indulgence and self-destruction is impossible to resist. However, with the ice cream sandwiches, as with ex-girlfriends, my personal experience suggests you should avoid developing the same relationship with its close relatives. In February, Baskin Robbins introduced a version that incorporated chocolate chocolate-chip cookies. Despite Jeffrey Steingarten’s claims to the contrary, there is such a thing as too much chocolate. And, despite this sentence, the small and brittle Good Humor and Klondike ice cream sandwiches don’t even deserve a fucking mention.

Since I’ve become a fan of Pinkberry, I have to admit that I don’t eat nearly as much ice cream as usual. But I love this place still because they always have new flavors, it’s clean, there’s a ton to select from, and it’s open late. My sister bought my last birthday cake here, and it was so yummy. However, I have to complain that the prices seem to be unusually high in the last couple of years. I took my niece here a few week ago, and it was $ 10 for 2 ice cream cones. I had to shake my head to clear it. «Is that right, ten bucks?» I thought of my mom taking us to get ice cream at Thrifties in the 80’s, and it was ten cents a cone. But the ice cream was great. And of course my little niece threw most of hers away. As much as she loves ice cream she can only eat so much.

what good can be said about corporate chains? nothing, right? but look at me in the eye and tell me you can badmouth an ice cream place? can the kid inside you really do that without crying so much it ceases to exist and all you’re left with is an empty shell of yourself? can you? ANSWERME!!! yeah, i didn’t think so. i ordered my bday ice cream cake from this location and found the price to be pretty decent for the assload of cake i got. how many people were at my house that day? 20+ and there was still a third of cake left even tho many had seconds? that’s right. i was eating ice cream cake for breakfast, lunch and dinner for an entire week. coincendentally, that was one of the happiest weeks of my life. nevermind the 20 pounds i gained from adhering to the diet of ice cream cake i was in for that period of time.
