I have had John Negrini and Jose to my home in Belmont Heights twice. They have done excellent interior and exterior prep and painting. John and his painters come as scheduled and always leave the job clean and tidy. John is always on the job to make sure it is done well.

I had an emergency situation pop up Sunday mornign & needed an entire living room & front door painted on Monday for a property to show that week. I frantically called 4 companies off Unilocal based solely on their ranking and while others never got back to me, Anthony, the owner from Negrini Painting called me within 5 minutes of my message. Anthony was funny, personable & helpful. He was able to get me locked in for Monday morning at 8am. I told him I’m a morning person and could do earlier, so he even bumped me down to 7am on Monday to get a jump start on the job.
Monday rolled around and Ivan the painter showed up directly on time and was the most humble and friendly man I may have ever met. Even while I was showing him the area that needed to be painted, I accidentally made a scuff on the hallway celiing like an idiot and he told me he’d fix it. So within the 8hrs I returned to pay Ivan and found that not only did he paint my ceiling & door, but he didn’t just «fix up» my scuff mark, he painted my entire hallway ceiling AND fire place «because he had the time…» And they looked STELLAR! This speaks volumes knowing that he went above & beyond and also works fast. Not to mention the quality was top notch. After thanking him profusely, I asked for the company’s contact info because after he told me they will travel anywhere for a job, I will never again use another paint company besides Negrini. Great prices, great painters, honest company & stellar work. What more could you ask for in a business???
Again…do yourself a favor, USE THIS COMPANY.

I’m happy with the low price and the quality work that Ivan did. The company has a great money-​saving special listed on their website. I would recommend this place to someone looking for affordable painters.

I needed some patches done after other contractors poked holes in my walls. Did a great job, I can’t tell that there used to be a large gaping hole there.

I called Negrini Painting after ready other Unilocal reviews. Anthony and his crew are great. The house looks beautiful. His prices are very reasonable and the paint job done is very professional and looks great. I would very much recommend them and would absolutely use them again.

There are pros and cons about Negrini Painting. The pro is that he and his staff do work hard and he does what he says. The con is that he makes things more complicated than they need to be to justify charging more. Another con is that as a consumer he knows I’m not an expert, so he painted (no pun intended) a cloud of doubt about something I wanted done and that more problems «could» occur. After talking to other people, it was clear to me that he only wanted to use swiss coffee white all over the house because it’s significantly cheaper than the paint I really wanted to use. I understand everyone needs to make a living and make profit in order to stay in business, but I just felt like he was always justifying higher prices and fast talking his way through things too often. Overall he did a pretty good job for the actual work he did, but he missed a few simple areas, which was surprising. I felt like I over-​payed $ 400-​$ 500.

I found Negrini Painting on Unilocal and I’m really glad that I did! We had the interior painted on a rental house we were moving into that needed work with an agreement to help the owner coordinate some fixing-​up. We are really glad that we called them! Anthony was super professional, courteous and patient. He is a «hand shake» kind of guy, even though we didn’t meet in person. All dealings went smoothly on their end and when there was a hiccup with payment on the property owner’s end, he was gracious and patient. All for a very reasonable rate. Thanks Anthony for the great work!

I needed my front door sanded, patched and painted. Negrini’s came out the next day, did all of the prep work and patching, then came out the next day to paint. My door looks beautiful!

The guys with Negrini Painting are great!!! They did beautiful work on the inside of our home, and most importantly, they were easy to work with. They were prompt with all communication (email, texts, & phone calls), showed up punctually every day, and were a pleasure to have around. We highly recommend them and look forward to using them in the future.

Anthony came out to give us a quote for painting a 1 bedroom apartment. Ceilings and walls approx. 800 square feet. He was prompt and courteous. Asked for some minor prep, like removing some curtain hardware and minor patching. Asked for walls to be a soft gray and all trim, doors, baseboards, etc. to be white. Quote was for $ 4900.00. $ 4900? Yes! He said I could save a lot of money by having everything painted the same color. Floor to ceiling all one color, so they could do a spray painting everything would only be $ 2900. I wish he would have saved me time by just saying he didn’t want the job. Even his suggestion of all one color for a 1 bedroom apartment 800 square feet for $ 2900 is ludicrous. He won’t get the job.

My mom hired Anthony to paint a small bedroom in our house, but it did have a rather elaborate graffiti tag painted on one of the walls. My brother took it upon himself to paint over it with Kilz as necessary but Anthony still had to prime and paint three walls. He was right on time, very informative and even though our deal didn’t include some necessary work, he made sure to point out exactly what we’ll have to do and I’m sure we’ll keep him in mind when we get around to finishing the rest. Thanks Anthony!

Anthony and crew are just the best! Timely, professional, courteous and clean. I had my kitchen cabinets sanded and painted. Tony came over gave great advice on color and the price was right on budget. The work was done quickly and the kitchen looks beautiful. I am so very very happy with the service and will happily recommend him!!!
p. s. Tony painted the exterior of my home 10 years ago and the work was flawless! He truly is the best!

Anthony and his team were extremely professional, prompt, courteous and most importantly, incredible painters! My condo has some tricky high ceilings and areas to paint, but the crew handled it like the pro’s they are and got it done. In a day! I will be hiring them again for the remaining rooms I’ll be doing in phase 2 and can’t recommend them enough for your next job too.

Anthony came to our old 84 year old bungalow and was very honest about the work that needed to be done to restore the exterior. His crew came on time every day and worked so hard until the job was completed – which took a month of hard work! The house now looks better than new with a lot of detail work in different colors that makes the style of the house just shine. I would highly recommend Negrini Painting to anyone who wants a quality job done. They are not cheap, but I have never seen my house look better! Definitely will call them again when I need painting work done. They are the absolute best!

I’m not sure about all these reviews. But I called asking for an estimate for 2 very small rooms for a 750 square feet residence. I only needed the living room 200 square feet and dining room which is 30 square feet. This was for ceilings and walls. I got an estimate of $ 1700.00 to $ 2400.00. I was told that they charge $ 45.00 per hour and a job like that could take up to 3 days. When I told my husband he asked me right away «is he a Princeton graduate»? Those prices are outrageous. WOW! He is expensive. That’s all I could say!!!

Just had my entire 2BD/​2BA condo painted by Anthony and his crew, to include the entire ceiling! All I can say is WOW! Fantastic job! The previous owner had painted the entire condo, to include ceiling brown, so this was quite the job. Price was right, they were always on time, and very professional. I highly recommend and will definitely use them again for any future painting projects!

Negrini painting was able to give me a fast quote at a reasonable price. Painting begun next day and was done in a few hours. Anthony is super friendly and very professional. Anthony was professional, friendly and he and his guys did a great job on our 4 bedroom 2 bath rental unit. I needed someone quickly so we talked on Tuesday and he was at the job Weds. morning. I will be talking to him about some painting at my house. Negrini Painting is the best.

I called Negrini Painting after I had a no show from another handy man. Anthony worked with me to get me an estimate over the phone of what it would take to finish paining the interior my home. He was able to bring his crew the very next day, and complete 3 rooms of paining in one day. They were extremely professional, and completed everything in exactly as much time as they said it would take. The quality is fantastic, and Anthony himself even made sure that there were no extra drips on the trim and that everything was up to his standards. Overall, I think they did an excellent job, and I will certainly be using them again for my next paint project.
