Mom wanted her wedding dvd copied so she could get it to friends and family. All they had to do was copy the dvd, YET, all the copies had No Sound. She had already sent five out to friends, so after mailing, mailing back and re-​mailing, ya get the picture? Story Teller re did the dvd’s yet they left a bad impression.

I had an old Beta tape and no way to play it. I searched for a way to transfer it to DVD and was not comfortable about sending in my one & only Tape via mail to one of the chains.
Unilocal has been pretty spot on with legit recommendations and Unilocalsters scored me a great place yet again. Storytellers prices were fair and they dubbed the tape in a few days. I’ll def use them again.

Needed a VHS tape transferred to a DVD as a Mother’s Day present. Being a total procrastinator, I waited until the day before to go in. I was greeted immediately — the man that worked there was incredibly nice. Told me that typically that service would take a week, but he would get started right away and try for same day, Monday at the latest.
Wasn’t even an hour later that I got the call to come pick it up. Granted, there was only about 4 minutes of footage, but I appreciated such quick service and attention. Originally quoted 30 – 40 $ but since it was so short, he only charged $ 20!
We looked over the footage and was amazed to find several clips I had never seen before on the VHS!
I can’t wait to share this with my family. I am over the moon!

Larry was awesome! I had a short VHS video that I needed converted and he was able to put a quick rush on it. I was able to get it back same day. Big box stores would have shipped it out and it would have taken days. I highly recommend Storyteller Productions

I took 40 years worth of home movies and had Storyteller transfer them to DVD’s. They did an outstanding job at a very affordable price. I did a lot of searching before I found Storyteller Prods. I couldn’t find anyone in OC or LA to provide this service at anything that was even close to affordable. I did find a couple of places on-​line, but I couldn’t phathom sending my precious home movies through the mail to a stranger. When I discovered Storyteller was right in my own backyard, I was thrilled. They handled my film with great care and had a quick turn-​around.

I was out of town & needed some short video clips edited & formatted quickly for a web page. I was directed by some local media firms to check with Storytellers, & I’m glad I did. Katrina & Larry got me exactly what I needed & I had it the same day via email. Very friendly people & excellent customer service, with an extremely affordable price, way less than I was expecting. Only paid around $ 20 for what I thought was going to cost me closer to $ 100+.
Then I had some minor formatting changes I needed a couple months later & once again they came thru for me quickly, via email, & sent me the resized video files back with no payment required.

I went to Storyteller for a pretty big project. My grandfather is turning 90 and we were holding a big party in his honor. I wanted a video to show at the party that brought together all of our old family photos, videos, and personalities to show at the party. It was a really hands on project and the Storyteller staff did not disappoint! There were over a hundred photos that they scanned, corrected, and cropped. Also, the scoured through tons of family videos and pulled just the write moments. The whole production was set to music that hit just the right tone for our event. It was funny, nostalgic, and heart-​breaking. It was worth every penny to create such beautiful memories. The staff really put a lot of time and effort into getting this just right… they have my thanks!

I just picked up a very old video that I had redone on dvd for a family occasion. They were great to work with and did a wonderful job. Warren and Larry took extra care in making sure the project came out just right and they did a great job with color correcting old old footage. They are very knowledgeable in technology and seemed to know just what needed to be done. Very professional and very easy to work with. I strongly recommend them.

I transfered my parents wedding film to Dvd for their anniversary. I had been looking for a place that didn’t need to send my valuable film to somewhere back east. This place did everything in house which was a plus. Everyone was very friendly and the process was quick. Only issue is it was pretty expensive for just a transfer and then DVD has no menu so it just starts right away. I thought it would have some sort of title page or something. I would go to them again just because I trust with with my film but it is expensive.

I ordered a color printing on a demo CD i’d made based on a mock-​up i’d drawn on my home computer. I gave the mock-​up and the CD to them on Tuesday at about 5, and they said they’d call me when it was finished. I hadn’t gotten a call by 1pm on Wednesday, so I called them and the CD had been ready for pick-​up.
When I got there, my name on the CD had been misspelled and the copy wasn’t as I had it on the mock-​up. The guy apologized assured me he’d fix the problem, then printed me a new one. He did not, however, fix the problem, and my name was STILL misspelled the second time, although the copy was corrected. He printed it a THIRD time and finally got it right, then still charged me for the CD.
In retrospect I should have refused to pay, but I’m a wussy, so there you go.
I asked him when the original CD had been finished, and he told me it had been done on Tuesday evening and had «meant» to call me Wednesday morning to tell me it was ready, but he just «spaced.»
granted, my order was only $ 3.24, no no big monetary loss here, but I’d rethink coming here again. They specialize in special event DVD production (weddings, funerals, etc), so maybe make triple sure they have all your information correct, since they obviously don’t double-​check their work.
