I have nothing but great things to say about our experience with Sweet Day Studio. It was a pleasure working with Ryan. Ryan and his team did an incredible job with our rehearsal dinner photos and same day edit. I was overly happy with the final outcome and it went above and beyond my expectations! Sweet Day Studio is super easy to work and they are genuinely passionate about what they do and it definitely shows in their work. A lot of our wedding guests are still in utter awe of the same day edit video. It really is mind boggling to me that Ryan was able to edit all the footage in 3 hours. It was the highlight of our wedding! The music, composition, and tone of the video was perfect in telling our wedding story. I can’t thank them enough for capturing our special day!

Ahhh! No comments can describe how great they were. They shot our engagement photos, wedding and did our wedding video. Having camera peeps follow you constantly isn’t a natural feeling for most, however they made you feel like you were just hanging out with friends which made you feel comfortable. We miss Ryan and his crew, wish they could follow us everywhere and capture every moment. They were so much fun and so on top of everything! They are super creative!
Ryan was professional and always had a timely response. Answered every question we had and always made us feel important! I can’t wait to work with them in the near future! Ninjas!!!;) cannot wait to see our photos and video!

My husband and I met Ryan and his fiancée Che about a month or two after our engagement, and more than a year before our actual wedding day. We drove out to SD to meet them, and my husband and I knew we made the right choice with Sweet Day!
We hired them as our wedding videographers, and even after 4 months since the wedding, I still find myself watching our Same Day Edit, re-​living our wedding day. Ryan, Adam, Cheryl, and Albert were not only so much fun throughout the day, they were also so professional. From the very beginning, my husband and I knew we wanted our wedding videos to look polished, yet light and fun, with no dramatics, and no stuffiness at all. Ryan’s team went above and beyond that request. The team split up and worked with my husband and me individually, capturing moments before the wedding that we can relive over and over again. We had a pretty loud and crazy bridal party, and Sweet Day definitely fit in with them with no problem! They also filmed a lot of great footage during the day and through the evening that we wouldn’t have known about or seen had they not been filming. They were fun to work with; very positive, and definitely a no-​frills team. Our transactions before the wedding also went off without a hitch — the team was flexible, and understood our needs and what worked best for us.
We already had a great photographer booked for the day, but if they were not available for us, we would definitely have booked Sweet Day for photos, too. Maybe for future events and special occasions? :)
I highly recommend this team — if you’re a Type A bride like I was, planning a wedding for over 250 guests, and working with numerous vendors and have lots of details and treats during your wedding (we had an In-​N-​Out truck for an after dinner snack!), Sweet Day Studios is a definite must. They’ll make sure you won’t miss a beat because trust me — your wedding day will go by like a blur; you’ll need great videographers to help you relive your special day.

I found these wedding videographers through Unilocal and they truly were the best. They are so friendly, easy going and fun. Ryan Rivera is so easy to get a hold of and doesn’t make you feel stressed at all. The same day edit they made for us was was the best investment we ever made. Last April, me and my fiancé (back then) attended a dear friend’s wedding and we were impressed with Sweet Day Studio’s same day edit! Seeing their crew in action during that day, I must say that they are «ninjas»! They blend with the crowd and get impressive shots. We got to know their work more, through their website and loved how they have unique videos for every client. With that, we had Sweet Day Studio cover our wedding photography, videography, and photobooth. Ryan was our point of contact, and we were instantly at-​ease with him. He was easy to talk to, and was flexible to our wish lists. They made photoshoots fun, cool, and relaxed. I admit we are a tense couple especially when cameras are around, but they helped us adjust and enjoy our photoshoots. They shared the photos and videos to us in a timely manner, with no restrictions, limitations, and watermarks. It was so much fun when we met the whole crew during the wedding day. With their orange shoes and black outfit ensemble, our guests easily recognized them and somehow put out a smile when they see them around :) We got lots of compliments with our engagement photos and same-​day-​edit. Their impressive work reflects the skill, talent, and teamwork they have. There was more than a client-​vendor relationship too, they were part of the family and the wedding celebration! Talented, professional, thorough & flexible! These are four common themes that you will see with Sweet Day Studio. They are hands down, one of the best investments my Wife & I ever invested in. My wife and I were recently married and we hired Sweet Day to capture the day. Little did we know, that it would end up being one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. Prior to the wedding, Sweet Day created an astounding «Save The Date» video for us, not to mention they delivered it to us in an incredibly fast time-​frame. The artistic touch and cinematic ability that these folks have is unbelievable. They can turn a simple scene into a thing of beauty. They are an incredibly talented group of individuals and I highly recommend them.
Their professionalism is greatly appreciated. They arrived early and on-​time to everywhere we needed them. They use high-​quality equipment, cameras and mics. They came well prepared for our wedding day and blended right into the background. Many of our guests commented on how impressed they were with their style of work. My (new) husband and I had the privilege of working with Sweet Day for our wedding a few days ago as well as for our Save the Date video last year. Since day one, they have been so prompt with emails, consistently thorough, friendly and easy to talk to and communicate details with, and overall amazing. They made us feel like we have known them for years and that we’ve been friends for a long time (even though we just met). Anyway, that was just my description of the type of people they are. I have not even scratched the surface of the quality of their videos.
When they filmed our Save the Date video in the Crystal Ballroom of the US Grant (the same place we had our wedding ceremony), they made it fun, relaxed, and easy. I felt that they were just hanging out with us but just so happen to have a camera in hand. Nothing prepared of us for the finished project because after just a day or two, they sent us a beautifully made Save the Date video that reminded us of something similar to an upscale perfume commercial or a movie trailer for a romantic movie. It was so cinematic, theatrical, and gorgeous. Even thought the ballroom itself was dimly lit, they used what light they had to convey romance in the video. Everyone in our circle of friends and family who has seen it loved it. We were simply amazed!
Then comes our wedding day. They arrived at my bridal suite ready with smiles and their video equipment. We were so happy to see them. From then, they were so seamless in how they orchestrated their day and how they obtained all the footage they needed. I felt like they were ninjas in a sense that I didn’t even notice they were filming at times because they were never in the way during the ceremony or the reception. But somehow, they finished the night with the most tear-​jerking, gorgeous, poignant, and moving Same Day Edit that we could ever ask for! I mean, this was just top notch in regards to wedding videos! SO MANY PEOPLE would message me via texts, Facebook messages, and phone calls to tell me how much they loved our Same Day Edit. Most importantly, after watching this video on our own, my husband and I would still tear up every single time! It was just so beautifully made and they captured the essence of how we felt that day. We cannot wait to see the raw footage of the entire wedding. For those of you looking for videographers, Sweet Day is worth every penny! They are friendly, artistic, professional, and (somehow) very humble and grounded. It’s almost like they are unaware of how excellent their work is! There are just no words to convey how thankful we are to them! We would like to give them a rating of 10 stars our of Unilocal’s 5 because they consistently exceeded our expectations.

We choose Sweet day studio to do our engagement and wedding videography and photography. First and foremost, Patrick, who runs the show is a great guy to deal with. Very flexible with his schedule and always willing to adjust his schedule to meet the needs of his clients. He went just above and beyond.
Sweet day showed up to her rehearsal just to figure out how they could get the best shots so that the day of the wedding would be great. Everyone loved them on the day of the wedding and the interactions that we had.
We ended up taking day of photos at old Poway park. There was an opportunity to get great videos and photos on the train there and Patrick just went ahead and paid for all 18 people in the wedding party! 18 people! to ride the train. I mean seriously you couldn’t ask for a better group to work with on your wedding day. They never seemed in the way of anything going on.
We did a tea ceremony in the morning and none of the elders felt like that were in the way of anything.
Finally, there same day edit is absolutely stunning. We are still getting compliments on how amazing their edit was on such short notice.
Simply put, if you aren’t going with sweet day studios, you are making a serious mistake. They are worth every penny. Thanks for everything!

The Sweet Day Studio crew is nothing short of AMAZING. They took our engagement photos, wedding photos, video, and provided a photo booth. They are professional, efficient, organized, and so, so talented. All our other vendors and wedding coordinator couldn’t get over how smoothly they operated.
As good as their professionalism was, the best part about Sweet Day is how light-​hearted, fun and sincere they are… so much so that you feel like you’ve known them all your life and you want to invite them over for dinner (and ok if they wanted to, they can photograph the dinner too).
Perhaps the best indicator of how awesome they are is the fact that they’ve made a believer out of my husband, who fought tooth and nail against taking engagement photos and having a wedding video. He absolutely enjoyed all the photo sessions and judging by the number of times he’s watched the Same Day Edit video (a must!), I would say that he is a changed man!

Sweet Day Studio was our only choice when we thought about the lucky photographers to capture our big day (photography, videography, same day edit). Their work is top notch along with their crew. We couldn’t be any happier with the results of our wedding photos and video — sleek and modern. They did an excellent job capturing all aspects and angles of our wedding!

Rommel, Cheryl, and the rest of the team are absolutely phenomenal. They’re professional, have great attention to detail, and genuinely care about capturing the perfect shot.
I initially did not sign up for the same day edit, but I’m so glad that Rommel offered it. My family and friends were so impressed by their work and it was so nice to be able to see clips of the ceremony. It was also really nice to be able to share the video with those that couldn’t make the wedding.
They also went above and beyond by helping me with my wedding montage dilemma 2 days before the wedding. I am beyond grateful that they did this for me.

From the moment we signed up with the Sweet Day Studio team, it was better than first class treatment because it was was much more personal. It was as if my family and close friends were doing the project (and not the annoying side, which we all have and love but…). Beyond the personal touch, their professionalism with the hotel staff was beyond anything we could have imagined. Even our wedding coordinators couldn’t believe how efficient and effective they were in their setup.
With all that being said, the final product was the best. I wish I could show you all but can only just let you watch the video montage which they did at the end of our wedding for our guests… not a dry eye in the place. The Kleenex company should give these guys a royalty.

I worked with one of the photographers previously at my 9 to 5pm job and was very impressed with their work so I hired them to take pregnancy photos for my wife and do family photos as well.
The photographer (Aryo) was awesome! He gave awesome direction and pretty much told us to be natural and captured some of the best shots ever! He even got my 2 year old son to crack up and smile so we got a ton of awesome family pictures. We loved the pictures so much that we blew them up and have it framed on our walls in our home.
The photographer knew just what to do to get the best photos possible and he worked tirelessly to ensure we had the best photos. I strongly suggest anybody who needs wedding photos, family photos, videography to hire Sweet Day Studio. Consummate professionals and take pride in their product as well as work!

After looking through their work, I couldn’t help but notice how well they were able to capture the natural essence of the surroundings, emotions and lighting. That is when I contacted Rommel to do a maternity photo shoot for my first pregnancy. Luckily, he was available that weekend!
We met in the LA area and he was the nicest, coolest, and most professional guy! Anyone could do a photo shoot, but, when they make it fun, listen to your input and give suggestions, you get quality pictures! I’m 7 and a half months pregnant and he was able to make me look beautiful on a hot day when i was feeling swollen and gross! I didn’t get to work with the whole crew, but eventually I would love to go through them again for another event.
The great part was that I was able to get my pictures sooner than later in time for my shower! Bottom line is that they’re good. Real good. Legit quality at a good price! This is my very first review and being in the customer service field myself, you won’t be disappointed!

My aunt booked Patrick and Rommel for a session to commemorate a wedding anniversary, and they were awesome!
Both were very patient with us while we decided what kind of shots we wanted, and Patrick did a great job of taking our ideas and improving them.
What I really liked what was the quick turn around time for edited photos. Pictures were taken on Saturday and my aunt sent them out to us Monday morning for us to all look at. I was extremely impressed and would definitely recommend them.

We did the whole shebang in a affordable price. So affordable we wanted to offer them more after it was over. No joke.
We had the entire crew (7 people) help us for our wedding. I could probably write a paragraph on how amazing the team is themselves. Their personalities and style combined made our wedding even more eventful. they made such a stressful event into something fun and enjoyable!
The same day edits. If you book them, book that too. I have no idea how in the world they did it… STILL AMAZED. I felt bad cause I had them rush it due to all the NYC-​er guests were leaving early to catch their flight out. Instead of panicking. they just nodded and got it done right after!!! Shows how flexible and professional they are! And on top of that they previewed a few photos in advance for us just as a surprise present… *TEARS* so sweet.
I can proudly say. the most memorable moment I had with the team was having them take photos of me and being able to sit back and watch it all in the end. THE BEST CLOSER FOR A WEDDING. Was such a perfect ending/​start to marriage!
P. S. Oh also can’t help but say THANK YOU Cheryl for bringing my bouquet to me. HAHA yes. out of all errors I forgot to take my flower bouquet up. still a laughing matter today, how silly I am. But they saved me and somehow got it to me by the time I made my exit! Whew!!!
I know usually I should make a post AFTER the photos are received but I have clear confidence by looking at the video/​engagement shoot/​previews that we already love them.

I wish I could give Sweet Day Studio 10 stars! LOVE LOVE them! They do both photography and videography and their quality of work is superb! By far the best around in San Diego. Just take a look at their website and their work speaks for itself. They are very easy to work with and get things done in a timely manner. Plus everyone is so friendly and fun to work with and they really work with you as far as what you’re looking for in the final product. This team definitely delivers and does not disappoint. Sweet Day Studio is very creative and has an eye for both photography and videography.
Just last year, for my 1-​year wedding anniversary, SDS filmed a short music video. The music video was to a song I had danced to with a couple friends which was a surprise performance for my wife, Kristen, on our wedding day. She loved it when I showed it to her on our anniversary. It definitely brought her back to our wedding day.
Ryan and his team were very, very easy to work with. They were always willing to make sure any needs are met, especially in the short time-​frame we had to film the video.
