History

Established in 2010.

Kira launched her spray tan business in January in 2010 in Columbus, Ohio after receiving her first spray tan in 2009 for her wedding day. She quickly became passionate about the healthy alternative to tanning beds and the word spread fast. She had a vast array of clients from teens going to high school dances to «moms on the go», people that wanted that extra glow on the weekly to bridal parties, brides & grooms for engagement photos and their wedding day!

Kira moved to Los Angeles with her company in 2013 for her daily career and has been eager to get settled and promote the tanning business here in Southern California. She is excited to promote the healthy side of tanning and reminding people of the dangers of tanning beds and the sun. Her dad had two diagnoses of melanoma in 2014 and one of her long-​time friends since middle school lost her dad to melanoma after a long 8 year battle. You can still look fabulous and protect your health and skin at the same time :)

Kira has always been passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle, completing 32 marathons, 16 Half Ironmans and 4 Ironmans among others over the last 12 years. So it doesn’t come as a shock after receiving her first sunless spray tan in 2009 she saw the healthy alternative to tanning beds and UV Rays as a powerful business opportunity.

She launched her Tan Envy franchise the next year 2010 in Columbus, Ohio and through «Word of Mouth» became the #1 Custom Spray Tan Recommendation by Yahoo! based on client reviews.

Kira moved to L.A. in 2013 for a career promotion and has been eager to get settled and re-​launch her Spray Tanning business. With her dad having two diagnoses of melanoma in 2014 and a childhood friend losing her dad to melanoma after an 8 year battle, there’s a constant urgency to educate the damaging and potentially fatal effects of tanning beds and the sun.
