Michael was our Realtor when we bought our Townhome in Santa Clara and we were so impressed with his knowledge the first time, we didn’t hesitate to select him to represent us in listing our home. At first, we wanted to wait and sell a few months later based on our schedules, but Michael strongly suggested we sell during a particular week, as he tracks historical trends. Frankly, this was not a particularly good timing for us, but we took his advice. We are pleased to say he was spot-​on! We sold our home with more than 25 offers (yes…25!), and best of all…22% over the asking price which was much higher than any other sale in our development! Additionally, he negotiated three months free rent back! We cannot say enough about how he was on top of aspect and how smooth the transaction went… we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Michael is fun to work with and knows his stuff! We highly recommend him. He is our Realtor for life.

Mike is a stellar realtor! Mike was our general contractor for our home in Sunnyvale, which we bought through his wife, Shelly. We were worried that we were losing a great GC when Mike switched to real estate, but then bought another home through Mike and are so happy he switched!
Mike is incredibly professional, knowledgeable and his construction knowledge complements his growing real estate experience. He successfully won the bid on a house for us that had ten other offers. The selling agent said it was because his contract was accurate and complete, and that he was a nice guys to deal with.
One of the best parts about working with Mike is his honesty. When inspecting a house, we know we can trust him to critically evaluate what work will need to be done and how much it might cost. He’s also got a great relationship with subs, so we know that we can trust inspection reports and quotes. This is hard to find in the real estate and construction industry, so we’re really lucky.
I’m happy to give Mike 5 stars and wholeheartedly refer him to everyone.

Mike helped us buy our first condo in Redwood City. We met him at an open house and helped us find our home within a month of meeting him. Before working with Mike, we had been working with another agent and looking for homes ourselves for nearly 6 months.
Mike ensured that the process went very smoothly and negotiated with the selling agent to ensure we got what we wanted. We even went with his recommended lender, and that helped us close in 15 days. He was patient, helpful and always available for a call. Highly recommend him!

We were so lucky to meet Mike at an open house and use his services both to sell our condominium and buy a new home! Both sides of the process went smoothly and we are very happy with how both transactions worked out. We were cautious to look for a new home before selling our existing condo, but we found a home that we fell in love with and through Mike’s advice and support, we purchased our dream home in this crazy market. Then, to top it all off, Mike was able to get us a record price for our condo, all cash, with a seven day close. I can’t recommend Mike highly enough. I have had previous experiences with real estate agents that was negative, and the difference Mike made to the transactions was priceless.

We met Michael at an open house more than a year before we were ready to buy. Michael kept us on his list so that we could get a sense of the (insane) Mountain View market while we got our plans in order, and never tried to hurry us along as we hemmed and hawed and dragged our feet. When we were finally ready to start actively looking, Michael jumped in and we were under contract within weeks. Everything he has to offer came into play – his knowledge of the area and the market, his contractor’s eye for potential fixes and upgrades, his personal network, and his ability to rescue a problem situation. He was available at all hours and provided careful counsel, reaching out to others for input if he didn’t know an answer. Ultimately, with his help, we bought a house we are in love with, in a crazy market, for under the asking price! And Michael (who is also an amazing grill chef) showed up with a barbeque picnic to welcome us as we moved in. He is truly stellar to work with.

Michael gave us useful feedback and provided a different perspective that helped us look at it differently, and now we’re very happy that we went through with the purchase. Michael was very helpful and was always available, and he went above and beyond when we ran into problems with the loan officer at the very end of the process by helping us get a different loan officer and flying through the process in record time.

He is extra knowledgeable about the area, having lived here most of his life. I appreciated his background as a general contractor when evaluating the quality of construction, as well as his willingness to drive us around on tours of neighborhoods and wherever else we needed to go. Perhaps most importantly, he and his wife, Shelly Potvin, are very connected in local real estate networks, which ultimately was crucial in us being the winning bid with twelve offers. We were pleasantly surprised at the in-​depth techniques and strategies they used to help us buy our new home even though we were not the highest offer. We highly recommend Michael.
