ABC Donuts

I took a break from driving and decided to check this spot out; since I saw they were open. And, oh my goodness, I am glad I did. The donuts are fresh, warm, tasty, and soft. I bit into a sugar twist and it was freakin delicious. This may very well be my go to spot when I’m in the neighborhood.

I’m not too much of a donut type of person BUT the sandwiches are off the chain. I always get the veggie delight on wheat bun and I’m amazed how much flavor something that healthy packs. They are always friendly and the price is extremely reasonable along be with generous portions. Will try the salmon burger soon and see if their lunch is as good as the breakfast options.

Can’t believe it took me a year to try this place. Just because Yum Yums (which is a gross chain) is half a block closer I started to just not eat donuts since moving here. Now I am happy I found this place that not only is a cute little mom and pop joint with seating, but they also offer a 10% Unilocal check in offer! Score! Cronuts are served here — the strawberry was pretty solid. 3 donuts and an OJ with a Unilocal 10% off all for $ 5.

Staff are very friendly and shop is kept very clean. Donuts are always fresh and tasty. Lunch is worth it too. Sandwiches are big and filling.

Wow! By far the best Turkey Sandwich I’ve had (#7). Made to perfection every time. My employees and I have this for lunch everyday. The owner and his wife are very friendly and welcoming. See you guys again tomorrow!

The cronuts are the best tasting donuts I have ever had. I bought a dozen and shared them with some friends and they agreed. In fact one of my friends got mad becasue she was now afraid she would be going there frequently and gaining weight.

Really good sandwiches at a great price, their bacon, egg and ham croissant sandwich is delicious. Service is amazing. We’ll be going back.

When I was in search for Cronus near my home on Unilocal,this place came up. So I took a small drive, because I was really craving something sweet. My inner fatty said GO GET A CRONUT!!! So I of course dropped everything I was doing to obey:)
It’s a small donut place right across the street from Denny’s. I got the vanilla custard CRONUT. Even though I wanted one of each, my waistline said, «not today FatAss, you haven’t been to the gym in two weeks»:(
But boy I really enjoyed the vanilla custard. It had the right amount of crunch and softness to it:)
I will be back to try the others;)

After having lunch at Lupita’s I stopped over to check out their Cronuts. It looked interesting so I bought one. I made the mistake of not asking how much it was. It came out to $ 3 for a donut! I guess I haven’t bought a donut in a while but I thought it was a little high. My wife thought it was a rip. Well, how did it taste? Tasted like a donut with tapioca filling. It wasn’t too exciting. For that amount, I could have gotten two Elote tamales. Oh well, maybe donuts are just not my thing…

Outstanding service and the Cronut really is as good as reviewed. I am a production assistant on a television show, so breakfast runs are my responsibility. I would recommend them for others without hesitation. Just call ahead with a reasonable amount of time. I ordered 30 breakfast sandwiches and it took about 30 minutes.

Donuts are okay. Cronuts are ok.
Just a regular donut shop, but wanted to try it out because I heard there were cronuts here :)

I know they have specialty donuts but just paid a ridiculous amount for not even a dozen of the specialty. The cronuts for a dozen is $ 29.50. I paid $ 28.50 for not even a whole dozen I feel jipped and over charged. I would of been better of driving to Tony’s Donuts in Huntington Park !! Bigger donuts better tasting. My mom loved em they were fresh and yummy but was kinda mad when I told her the prices.

I wanted to bring cronuts into work and found ABC through a Unilocal search. The cronuts were great! The family that owns the place was very friendly and helpful.

This place is amazing!
I came in this Monday morning to try the famous Cronuts that I’ve been hearing so much about. I got half a dozen and also 2 Taro Boba’s for me & my coworker.
All was going great until opened my wallet and realized that not only did I not have my ID, but I also didn’t have my credit card with me since I don’t use my big wallet when I go out on weekend nights.
I’m pretty sure you could guess how disappointed I was after having already ordered and really wanting to try the cronuts.
I told them to not make the smoothies and that’d be back the next day to try the cronuts when I’m actually able to pay for it.
So I’m already at my car, about to text my coworker to tell her that I couldn’t get the cronuts & boba when the owner comes out to my car & tells me that it’s ok, I can have the cronuts AND he was going to make the boba. My disappointment just turned into such an amazing surprise!
Not very many places would allow this to happen, he simply just said «I understand, and we aren’t greedy.»
I’m going back when I finally get my card to still pay for my bill, but he seriously made my Monday morning. Thank You for the random act of kindness!
And last but not least, the Cronuts were delicious!

Very good donuts, great customer service for a hole in the wall, fresh coffee before work, and a newly added addition of a breakfast sandwich menu! Their donuts always tastes fresh, fluffy and delicious. This donut place is a good way to start the day.

While there are many Donuts shops in NELA this is one of the better ones…
A small independent Donut shop located right off the (2) freeway that opens at 3AM, it’s in a strip plaza so at times parking can be tight. They have a nice selection of your basic donuts, along with a few Pimped Out versions aka Cronuts and Chocolate or Maple Bars topped with BACON!
Coffee is good, they have cream and flavored creamers NOT that cheap powdered crap! don’t feel like a donut? they have Sandwiches… Bagels and Croissants filled with a variety of meat, eggs, cheese etc… they gotcha covered, and friendly service too!

Freshly deep fried dough, topped win Chocolate and topped with a nice piece of crispy BACON… What’s not to LOVE?

Cronut w/​Vanilla Cream —
This was my first Cronut so I have nothing to compare it to… layers and layers of flaky dough that’s deep fried and becomes this crispy goodness (((Genius Idea))) this is Nobel Prize worthy, they have they with different toppings and or fillings, this one has vanilla cream
I can see why the Cronut is the new craze!

I tried what I’d like to christen the «docrosanish,» the perfect polygamy of donut, croissant, sandwich, and danish. And, it was… fantastic!
The pastry was crisp, flaky, and lightly sweetened. While, the crème was dense and full-​flavored, and delicious.
Now, go get yourself a bite before it marries someone else.

Nice little family-​owned donut shop. I grab half-​dozen donuts and large coffee before work once in a while and they taste great. He threw in a free donut once also. They have different kinds of coffee also — hazelnut, French vanilla, or just Good olé Colombian. And most importantly, they have LIQUID CREAMER! I’m kind of a coffee snob and I must have liquid creamer. I hate places with powdered cream. They also have French vanilla and hazelnut creamers too. Great place.
