History

Established in 1986.

David Applebaum Architect creates beautiful works of architecture that are an expression of the life and taste of each client. That insight comes from David Applebaum, the studio’s founder and principal, who takes direct charge of each project. One of Southern California’s most highly respected architects; he has proven himself equally adept with both historical and modern designs.

Cuba Gooding Jr., Diane Keaton, Frank Sinatra, Rupert Murdoch, Brad Grey, Bob Hope, and Seth Green as well as Quincy Jones, Esprit and Virgin Records turn to David Applebaum for their the studio’s brilliant design and incomparable service.

David Applebaum graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in 1980. He earned a Master of Architecture from UCLA in 1984, where he was awarded Best Thesis Project. Prior to opening his studio, David Applebaum established his credentials in the architectural offices of Edward Grenzbach in Los Angeles, Franklin Israel in Los Angeles and Joseph D’Urso in NYC.

David Applebaum graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University in 1980. He earned a Master of Architecture from UCLA in 1984, where he was awarded Best Thesis Project. Prior to opening his studio, David Applebaum established his credentials and reputation for excellence at the architectural offices of Edward Grenzbach in Los Angeles, Franklin Israel in Los Angeles and Joseph D’Urso in New York City. David Applebaum has been licensed to practice Architecture in the State of California since 1990.
