Unclassy! Disrespectful! The guy in the truck just threw his trash outside his window onto the street right in front of my house! While I was watching! KEEPTHEMOUTYOURNEIGHBORHOOD. NORESPECT!

I love a good pun as much as I love a good burger. So naturally, I had to try this truck. I was pleasantly surprised. I was stoked to bite into it and discover a well seasoned patty. Too many places over-cook and under-season their meat under the disguise of «grass fed» and fancy toppings. Meat-in-the-middle was deliciously seasoned and cooked to perfection. I would have preferred the bacon to be a little crispier, but I was won over with the peppery thin fries that came with it. Also, the brioche bun is clutch. Good job boys, I’ll be back.

My co-workers and I found this food truck a few months ago when it showed up on Bunker Hill in Downtown. It is here every Thursday and we look forward to ordering each week. We have tried a variety of their menu options including the burgers, steak fajita sandwich and fries. Their burgers are seasoned to perfection and the bacon cheeseburgers come with lots of crispy bacon. Each thing we have ordered has been so good. The staff is great too. Both Joe and Mariela are so friendly and go out of their way to make our order perfect every time. Their prices are reasonable too, especially for the amount of food you get. A great big thank you to Meat in the Middle for making us a great lunch every week, keep up the good work!

I find my mouth starting to water every Thursday morning in anticipation of the Meat in the Middle truck appearing at lunch time on Grand Avenue in Bunker Hill. I have tried several of their burgers, my favorite of which is the bacon chese burger — with lots of crispy bacon. My favorite sandwich is the steak fajita — it is «perfect» with just the right amount of peppers and onions and yummy full-flavored beef. The sandwich comes with enough fries to share with one of your lucky co-workers. This truck is my Thursday treat — and the people who do the cooking and the window interaction are delightful to chat with. Thank you Meat in the Middle see you Thursday!

I was surprisingly impressed by the burger. Very tasty and reasonably priced. The bun was soft yet crisp, the way I like it. Unfortunately, I found 3 or 4 hard pieces of grizzle in my burger. That was a little disappointing, but the great taste was worth it. I would definitely eat here again and i would recommend it!

I stumbled onto this food truck Thursday afternoon. It was parked in from of the Wells Fargo building on Bunker Hill. The burger was absolutely amazing. The meat was cooked the perfect medium rare. The buns were soft in the inside and slightly toasted on the outside. When I bit into it I was surprised to see all of the spices and herbs inside if the patty. Genius! The fries that comes with the meal was a bit pepper, but I like it like that. And they definitely don’t skimp on the portions. Usually I don’t eat that much for lunch, but the entire meal was so good I couldn’t help myself. Definitely worth the $ 8!

I had their cheddar cheeseburger and there was some kind of herb or spice they used in the hamburger meat that just didn’t taste right. Taragon perhaps? In my humble opinion, hamburger meat should only be seasoned with salt and pepper — let the meat flavor shine on its own. But speaking of salt & pepper, the fries automatically served with the burger come seasoned generously with salt and pepper and they are fantastic! In conclusion: meh-tasting burger, fantastic fries. And at $ 8 for burger and fries, it’s a pretty good deal. But I won’t be back for the burger because of the funky spicing.

I stumbled across this truck on my way to Staples Center. There was quite a line so I had to try it out. I got the habanero burger and a pirate juice… YUM! The burger was perfectly spiced, had a nice kick without being overly spicy and the bun was perfect. I usually don’t wind up eating the whole bun with my burgers(carbs, ya know) but I devoured this one. I spoke with the owner and come to find out it was their opening day. It was super good. I will defiantly search them out again.

A new food truck is in town. Sunday I came to their food truck on Hope Street near 11th in DTLA. I ordered their Cheddar Burger which comes with a brioche bun and fries. It was their first day open and all of the neighbors came down so it was quite busy. It took some time but the burger was amazing! I think they will be on Grand St between 11th and 12th on Friday early evening for the weekly Tasteful Tuesday.
