Almost as good as the $ 70.00Thai massage at the Raven in Silver Lake. Ask for Lynn if you prefer a good-head to toe-amazing experience. If you just want really get beat up, Lynda is tough-seriously hard pressure. Clean but not perfectly quiet. you can hear people in the rooms next to you. Make an appointment on weekends as they are usually booked. $ 40.00 per hour plus tip

I just found out that my old Thai spa in Hollywood has changed owners and my Masseuse is no longer there. So had to find another one closer and with all the positive Unilocal reviews I decided to try this one out today. I saw Linda who took the time to really knead all the knots on lower back and all the stiffness in my upper back and shoulders. It was like my own physical therapy combined with some deep yoga stretches. I luv Thai massages! This place is clean and my new spot!

Love this place! I have only been in once, but it was a great experience. Pam was awesome and funny. She is a pro. Affordable and worth every penny!

Cant say enough good things about them, particularly Ellen [sp?]. Does an amazing job of working the knots out. She always spends extra time without charge to make sure the job is done. And very inexpensive, $ 40 per hour. It’s worth the drive.

So the ambience isn’t Burke Williams but who cares? The staff is as friendly as can be and Allen is part magician, part masseuse. Just tell her your aches and pains and see them disappear. I would highly recommend a visit.

Fern was amazing! Called same day and got an appointment. Very professional, clean and the massage was perfect. Parking was a bit of a pain, but if you park in the neighborhood it is a short walk. Take cash as there is a $ 2 service charge for using your card. They also have a rewards program, after 5 hours you get 30 minutes free!

Season Day Spa is one of those places that you go to that excels at the basics amidst urban, cookie cutter, buildings. Taking into consideration that it was probably a shoe store at some point, or even a grow house, the owners have done what they could with what they had. And I had a good time, so did Ann who came with me. Candles, ambient music that must have come off a Star Magic album, a comfortable face down bed and the gentle commentary and giggles of the massage specialists– it was great. I’d recommend it if you’re a starving artist that needs a quick splurge with a significant other that will be followed by a beer or other such unhealthy ‘catch me ups’ which can be found in the nearby area.

Seriously one of the best massages I’ve gotten ANYWHERE. Allen is totally amazing at what she does – really strong deep tissue massage. The place is tiny and I didn’t want to hang out there before or after the massage like I might have at a higher end spa… but who cares?! The massage is what you go for and it was hands down THEBEST $ 2 fee to use your cc

I’ve tried just about every Thai massage place in the Atwater, Silverlake and Echo Park areas. Seasons is my favorite and I’ll no longer go anywhere else. Everyone there is nice and really good at what they do. The massages are therapeutically beneficial in addition to being relaxing. That’s most important to me — not how I feel during the massage, but how I feel 3 days later. They also usually go 15 or 20 minutes past the hour at no extra charge, which is amazing and appreciated by a generous tip. It’s $ 40/hour, which is pretty standard for Thai massage and a steal for a great massage. There’s a small fee($ 2, I think) for credit cards. If that annoys you, then you’re the problem. You’re probably also the person ahead of me at Kaldi down the street using your card for your $ 2 coffee. Credit card fees really add up to a relatively large expense for small businesses. Paying cash at small, local businesses is the nice thing to do. And if you don’t have cash you can stop whining and pay a $ 2 convenience fee. You know who else never carries cash? Kindergartners.

I’m so glad I finally stopped by to check out this local neighborhood message place. Best message I had so far! Great little family owned business. Everyone there is so friendly and welling to fit you into their schedule. If you’re looking for a strong message, Linda is the lady to go to. She’s great! Worked every little knot in my lower back. This is definitely my to go message place from now on!

I used to drive to the San Gabriel Valley for my massages but ever since my neighbor recommended Season Day Spa I save myself the drive and stay close to home now. For $ 40 you will not regret coming here. They start by asking if you have any aches or pain any where and a warm towel to your feet. It is the best. When you tell them where the pain is they will dedicate a good amount of time on that area and it is up to you on how strong you want them to work on the area. I usually ask for a strong massage and sometimes even if they are smaller masseuse’s they will make you wanna tap. But yeah I highly recommend this place and if you happened to get a great massage ask for the lady’s name so you can make a reservation for your next visit as this place does get busy. FYI don’t park at the meters as there is plenty of parking along Glenfeliz.

Consistently awesome service by Ellen. I called in at 25 minutes before the last appointment time and BAM she took me! After a day like today, leprechaun hiding on the trail, the sprained ankle, the tuck n roll into the dirt and rocks, the subsequent fall in the street at the courthouse due to sprained ankle, the drama in Pasadena with court… I am a ball of hurt! She just finished and I really feel good. I recommend Season Spa hand down!

I live in Atwater and have passed by the unassuming storefront of Season Day Spa several times(the shabby outside is responsible for half a star reduction but it’s what’s on the inside that counts). But it wasn’t until 3 weeks ago that I gave it a try. The massage was excellent. As was my second. And third. No– not all in the same day. I wish. The price is amazing($ 40 for 60 mins) and both Jenny and Allen(a woman who somehow took a man’s name when coming to America — I need to get more on that story) were very good therapists. They ask you where it hurts and then actually attack with that area with tiny elbows and knees during the massage. In my experience Thai massage therapists often go through the same routine regardless of your specifications and requests. This was most definitely not the case here. I told them my hip flexor hurt, they made my hip flexor feel better. It’s a family owned and operated business which is nice. Many immigrants from Thailand are taken advantage of and paid low wages in comparison to the amount of hours they work for the Spa. I don’t drop that flippantly, I’ve been to several different Thai massage Spas and have heard the same story time and again. I can only assume that since Season employees are sisters and cousins, aunts and nieces, that this is not the case here. The only drawbacks besides the outside are the open ceiling and the music. I’m a DJ so I’m heavily influenced by sound and while the music isn’t distracting– it is pretty generic and frankly kind of funny. I think I heard a muzac version of some coldplay track when I was in there last. Jam on it! The open ceiling(common to Thai massage) is only a problem if someone is in the stall next to you snoring. Which someone was on my first visit. But the massage was so healing and lovely that I didn’t care. There is a sign in each«room» that makes it clear in no uncertain terms that sexual stimulation is not a part of their massage. God bless them that it ever had to come to that. Oh– they have a punchcard! After every 10th half hour you buy you get the next half hour free. Awesome. Big fan of this place.

Blessed is the gal whose office is within walking distance of 3 awesome spas!!! So, I have bragged about DTox Day Spa, and AAA Relax Massage, but today, I tried out Season for the first time, and it rocked my world! First of all, $ 40 for a ONE hour full body massage. Need I say more? The masseuse was wonderful and put me to sleep. I will be the first one to admit I need Spa-Goers Anonymous. I am absolutely addicted ot spas. But this also means I am VERY particular about services and treatment. Season Day Spa aced both categories — for service, AND treatment. I parked at the meters, and halfway through the massage, I think my meter ran out, and the girl asked about my car and immediately plugged it with quarters so I didn’t have to run out to a parking ticket. SOOO considerate. The masseuse was a young female — who knew how to loosen me up. You can find my picture in the dictionary under«STIFF» because I have breastfed for 5 years. No kidding. The bending over, and lack of sleep really stiffens me up. Bikram and frequent massages helps keep me blithe. Anyway, I was super impressed by this little spa. Like other reviewers have stated, it IS a small place with an open ceiling, so you’ll hear every«oooh» and«ahhhh» and moaning and groaning. But pick a weekday mid-day, and you’ll be alone and pampered.
