Route 38 Sunoco

I have had my gas filled up at this facility many times. The reason for the mid-​level review is half the time I go to get gas from 7:30pm and on and they are closed or open you never really know until you get there. The customer service is as friendly as any other full-​service gas station they have a very limited store inside but the main thing is you just don’t know if they’re going to be open.

It get’s 4 stars for 1 reason. It is full service. I don’t have to get out of the car and they were quick. A little pricier then my usual gas stop but I was desperate for gas so what can I do.

I’ve been going here for many MANY years. I send all of my friends there for service on their cars. Elias knows his stuff when it comes to fixing cars. He is less expensive than the area mechanics; his labor charges are cheaper and anyone around; if he has to fix something, he’ll fix it and he always checks to see if something else will need immediate attention. I can always drop in (even if he’s busy) and ask him to check something quick for me and he never tells me no. Honest as the day is long! I have no problem supporting this local guy!

Decent prices and full-​service, but topping off without asking and cranking the hell out of my gas tank lid = no bueno. No snacks or beverages available.

They seem really friendly. But, don’t trust them too much.
my car got a new alternator and the belt. But it keep making a sound now.
and they adjusted it, but still makes a sound. I think they used a shitty belt. but they cost me like $ 30. And did not tell me whether the alternator was a new one or rebuilt one.
Also, I had to replace new spark plugs and wire. They charged me extra $ 35 for diagnostics. I think it was a simple BOD check with their scanner.
and they charged me a full hour labor fee. And, they charged me $ 90 for new spark plug wire. So, I had to pay $ 220 for plugs and the wire. But, i called bunch of places, they told me like i need $ 150. Wow…
All i can say is, don’t trust them, and go somewhere else. There are so many auto shops in lowell area.
