WALT’S TOW SERVICE

My car was repossessed by this company a couple weeks ago. They called me at 1am and told me my car was being repossessed and if I wanted to get my things out so I wouldn’t be charged the $ 50 fee they charge for holding my personal items. The guy towing my car gave me a plastic bag and I took all my things out. He told me to call the bank to get my car back.
I paid my balance around 4:30 pm and I called the towing company afterwards. A lady answered saying that the towing place was already closed so I would have to call back to arrange a pick up time tomorrow. Great… another $ 20 bucks for keeping it overnight.
I called in the morning a little before 9am. The same lady answered saying that her office doesn’t open til 9 so I would have to wait til then before she could answer any questions.
I called back a little passed 9am and she told me the address where my car was kept but told me I had to wait til an agent showed up at her lot so the agent could release the car to me. I asked her what time would an agent arrive and she said she didn’t know but would call me when one is available.
I called back around 10:30am and asked if an agent had arrived. She said yes, but that he’s leaving in a half hour. I couldn’t make it in half hour and was annoyed because she said she would call me when an agent was available. She told me an agent would be there at 2pm, if that works. I told her yes I’ll be there at 2pm
She told me over the phone that she would release the car after I paid her the $ 60 dollar fee for holding my personal possessions. I told her I had removed my personal possessions, and then she said «Oh, I thought I saw some pens and paperwork in the car.» I told her those things are not important. She sounded surprised and said, «okay, just come and pick up the car.»
I came to the lot and called her. She came and said to give her a second to get the car. She got the car and handed me the keys. I saw no agent present. I signed the paperwork and left.
I gave this place two stars because the guy who repossessed my car called me to give me a chance to take my personal possessions out so I wouldn’t pay the $ 50 fee.

Fast service… nice guy showed up very clean truck definitely recommend to friends
