TownePlace Suites Manchester-Boston Regional Airport

Stayed there in May 2016 for two nights. The first thing I noticed when I entered the room is it smelled like cigarette smoke. This is supposed to be a smoke free property. I generally don’t mind, but it was bad. Got worse in the bedroom. The curtains stunk, so you can tell whoever stayed there was smoking at the window. Went to the front desk to make sure they knew so I wouldn’t be hit with the cleaning fee. Front desk told me they could not move me, but they would give me bonus Marriott rewards point for my inconvenience. Almost a month later still no points. I called the hotel about it and they had no record of my issue, but would bring it to the Asst. Manager right away. I thought about calling Marriott Corp. but figure i can have more of an impact here.
Other than the smoke issue, the place is pretty beat up and suites were small. The door on one of the bedrooms had a broken hinge and didn’t close properly. They are renovating however.
Stay at the Homewood Suites just down the road. Same price and it is much, much nicer. I should have been a Hilton Hhonors member instead.

I thought because this was a Marriott it would be so much nicer. My bed is uncomfortable, the furniture is beat up, and it just feels more like a Days Inn than a Marriott. My last stay at Marriott sucked too and I even wrote them to tell them but they didn’t seem to care. It’s not dirty or anything here, but it just didn’t meet expectations.
Also, the breakfast bar had milk on the counter in a pitcher with no way to keep it cold and that was kind of gross.

We had an early flight and needed a place to stay and a place to park our vehicle for 2 weeks. Staying at this hotel was less expensive than just parking our car at Manchester airport. The room was big, full kitchen, comfy bed, free wifi, friendly staff! When we returned from our vacation we were picked up promptly by the hotel shuttle and the woman who picked us up was very friendly and helpful. She wouldn’t drive away until she was sure our car started and we were safely on our way. Excellent! Can’t beat this place, we will stay there again.

Very nice hotel for a good price. Kitchen and full size refrigerator included with the room. Very clean.
