Udderly Perfect

So fun! I was drawn in by the mermaid stuff in the front window. It’s a whimsical little shop with cool jewelry, lovely cards, apropos signs & great casual clothing. The vibe is beachy & eclectic with a great deal to choose from. Definitely unique enough to come back and bring out of town visitors. I completely missed the name of the place and didn’t understand until the girls explained the cow I’d not seen overhead outside!

I very rarely write reviews, but in this case feel it’s important for all of you to know about my experience at Udderly Perfect in Manhattan Beach this weekend. Yesterday, I purchased 6 pairs of Christmas PJs ($ 300 purchase) knowing that I only needed 5 PJs, but wanted to bring the extra home so that my daughter could choose between the Small or Medium. Before purchasing all 6, I spoke with the owner and she agreed to process a Final Sale on 5 of the PJs, but would allow me to return the 6^th. I returned today, and this same person — the owner of the store — would not process the return. I couldn’t believe it! I feel duped and completely shocked that a local business in Manhattan Beach would treat a customer like this. I am a Manhattan Beach resident who has been shopping local — supporting Downtown Manhattan Beach — for years, but Udderly Perfect is now off my list.

Super cute clothing selection. One of my favorite boutiques in the South Bay! I love their one size fits all tank tops– I have almost every color!

Udderly Perfect is the epitome of an owner-​operated small store/​boutique with AMAZING customer service in a very friendly, laid-​back beach environment. Unlike most chain stores, the vibe here is sincerely fun and casual — nothing artificial.

Of course if a store is going to be painted like a cow one must enter. It’s a cute boutique shop that has a ton of inspirational and motivational sayings painted on wood, engraved on stones and silkscreened on teeshirts. The prices are typical boutique prices. they have a lot of their own clothing line which consists of everything from sweatshirts to track jackets, tank tops and thermals. Everything is centered around peace, love and happiness but in the modern way. they had a ton of jewelry and lots of well priced unique greeting cards. I ended up buying what I think will become my new favorite hat and a top i got on sale for 50% off. It’s worth it to poke around and the sales ladies were always there to help me but not overbearing.
The store is small so it can get cramped if there are more than 9 people in there at once. They had a nice selection of long summer dresses and summer/​spring tops. I liked their tops because most of them have a light padding so one can go *ahem* bra less (some women find that necessary, I’m just sayin). Apparently their clothing stock changes quite frequently so frequent visits if you’re in the area are a must (especially if you can find deals).

We were strolling along and came across this store. It is packed with lots of stuff so don’t come in here with a stroller or an impatient significant other. My friend got the cutest sundress here for about $ 42! That is a great price. They even make their own line of peace logoed clothing which they donate some proceeds from each item sold to a good cause. If you just landed on the beach and came here, you could easily leave with an outfit, jewelry, bag, etc to fit in asap. The sale women were all very friendly, helpful, and great! The brown shopping bag you get when you buy something is awesome, it has a picture of a cow on the beach sunning himself. Classic!
