I have been here so many times since it is so close to my work. They are great! I always do mani+pedi which is only $ 20. Oh! also they are good at eyebrow threading as well. Thank you guys :)

Great gel manicure for only $ 22. Win win, especially in the city. They did it nice and quick for me when I said I was in a rush. Not thatttt many gel colors to choose from, but a decent amount. They use Gellish. The place itself is rather small, not lavish. Overall, they got the job done exactly how I wanted at the time. Very happy with how my gel manicure came out.

Paid 22 for gel mani. Beautiful color, pretty great job. Took time to make sure everything was perfect. Not sure her name, but she was a little rough with my cuticles, made me bleed twice.

My go to nail place. Close to my apt, inexpensive and always leave happy with my nails! What more can I ask? I’d highly recommend it to anyone

Great little place! Manicure was $ 7 and they did a wonderful job (for the price). There definitely weren’t any thrills, but the place was clean and they paid attention to the filing/​painting. The massage lasted about 20 seconds, but I have paid double that and got the same massage at other places. Overall I would go back.

Don’t go! I’ve been getting pedicures for years. First time at this place and I am plagued by a serious itchy rash all over the tops of my feet and lower calves.

My favorite nail place in NYC. Sue and Lisa are amazing nail technicians as well as the other girl. Very relaxing place. Clean!

By far the best nail salon ever! The equipments isn’t top of the line but the staff is the most caring bunch in NYC. They always go above and beyond to make sure you leave feeling relaxed and beautiful. Mani + Pedi + 20 massage for $ 35…you can’t beat it!

This would not be my first, second, or third choice of nail salon in the area. As others have said, the ladies are very nice and mean well. I came in late at night and they were happy to help me.
I had three different women work on me over the course of an hour. While they were working, I thought that the lady who was painting my nails was doing an awful job. On closer inspection my toes actually look pretty good considering how many smudges were happening while she was painting. My finger nails are shaped strangely on one hand (off-​center rounding) but the cuticles look good.
Look, it’s $ 20 + tip. My nails look much better than when I walked into the salon. If you’re in desperate need of a mani/​pedi, try it. Otherwise, gosomewhere else.

I had a fantastic gel manicure here this week — actually wish I had come here sooner instead of Kumari which is a few doors down. The ladies here are super nice and do a very meticulous and thorough job (to those who commented that it’s slow, I’ll say I’d rather have thorough work than the quickie half-​assed jobs some other places do). And the price is amazing — $ 20 for gel mani with no extra charge for the soak/​removal. Love Nirvana!

They offer $ 20 gel manicures, which hold up surprisingly well. Mine lasted just over 2 weeks. The ladies were friendly and you get a quick complementary massage while getting your manicure. I’ll definitely be back!

The ladies here are nice, and the prices are super cheap. Thats basically the only good things. Messy job, cant communicate with the ladies, and not very clean

I live in DC and was visiting a friend this summer when we were shopping in the area and happened upon this salon. I now make it a point to get there almost every time I come to the city because they are just that good.
Lemme just start here, this is no Red Door… the location itself is clean but a little worn down. But from a value perspective, this may just be the best nail salon i’ve ever been to.
This past weekend I was in town for work and was delighted when an event ended early enough for me to sneak in a trip… I went in and got a gel mani (with take off), a spa pedicure with 15 minute foot massage, a 30 minute back massage, and a free eyebrow threading (eyebrows and basic manis are FREE after 7pm) all for $ 65. And they did a terrific job! The younger girl did my nails and her attention to detail was AMAZING. The staff is so sweet, and went out of their way to make me comfortable and provide a positive experience.
I got a lot of add-​ons, but their main «deal» is a mani + pedi + 20 min back massage for $ 35, w gel $ 50. Great little shop and I’ll be back on my next trip up. :)

Great service and prices. You can find fancier places in the area, but it won’t be as cheap. They are small and quiet. They have really relaxing music and it was some really relaxing «me time».

Nirvana Nails & Spa is cheap ($ 20 for a gel mani) and very affordable, but awful for timing and service. We stumbled upon this place, and went in because we saw it was empty. A simple gel manicure and regular pedicure took nearly 2 hours.
My gel mani came out fine, but my friend’s did not. The owner of the salon did her nails, and she had literally colored directly into her skin. Instead of acknowledging where she went wrong though, she tried to play it off as though everything was good, and tried to tell us that it looked nice.
I wouldn’t risk going here again. Go to Gardenia which is only a few blocks up. Much better job, and their salon is cleaner too.

I came mid week in the evening after work. I like that they have late hours available. I didn’t have to rush to get there before they closed. This place, like most nail salons is small; but, awkwardly small. Like, after my nails were done, I had to sit in a crammed area to dry them and then hop over two rolling stools to get out to pay. AWKWARD!
The young woman who helped me was very friendly but also very slow. I didn’t mind her pace though. Quite frankly, I was exausted and needed someone who was going to take their time rubbing my feet! The young woman was meticulous. My nails came out great and feet soft as a baby’s bottom. I spent about 45 minutes there and only $ 16! Amazing!
Although the price is right and the results were great, I don’t think I’d go out of my way to come here. Definitely would stop by on my way home from work if I had the time.

I enjoy coming here for my mani pedi’s. It’s $ 20 plus tip and they do a good job. My mani’s have lasted about ten days until they start looking outgrown and my pedi’s last a month. All the ladies here are so nice, hard working, and smiling. Here’s a tip: cash preferred and tip them well and they will not only appreciate it but they will take care of you. Small little nail shop. Mani and pedi is 21 cheap! I went there after work during the week so I thought it wasn’t crowded but this place fulls up quickly, since there is any 3 chairs for mani or pedis. But the ladies there are nice and a bit slow but there are very tentative. I would go back

Pedicure $ 16/​Mani & Pedi is $ 20. There’s always a blue collar man getting a mani or pedi when I’m here. Bare bones place but the ladies are really nice. I come here bc it’s very close to my apt & they give you a frequenters card, buy 7 get 1 free.
