We ordered everything except the kitchen sink, but I bet even that would have tasted good if they put it on the grill. It’s also run by some of the friendliest people we’ve met since we moved here.
Make sure you add a pork chop to your order. You will not be disappointed.

The food here is delicious! I normally order the phillies or fried shrimp. The Cajun corn and beef brisket is a fave also.

This place is amazing! The food was delicious had the Whiting, rib tips, pork chops, dirty rice, mac and cheese, greens, red beans and rice, baked beans, and a side of peach cobbler. I must say everything was perfect my husband and I enjoyed the flavors with each bite the only thing missing was cornbread. This was a great find! We will definitely be revisiting the establishment whenever we are on that side of the townagain. It’s a little storefront behind a service station. My only complaint is no nightime seating (area didn’t appear to be safe)…

Nice folk with good food working out of a old converted car wash building. Lots of cajun delacies like shrimp poboys and boudan balls. I am especially fond of the barbecue brisket sandwich. Hickory smokes brisket piled high on texas toast with sauce on the side. They have a couple of patio tables but more a take it and go «food truck with a foundation»
type of place behind a gas station. They have on line ordering available too.

This place is amazing! I ordered the grilled shrimp platter with a double side of collard greens. The food was prepared fresh and seasoned to perfection! You definitely get your money worth at this business. If your ever in Marietta you MUST try it!

I got the ribs, red beans and rice, and potato salad. It was horrible. The potato salad was watery, The ribs had very little flavor and the red bean and rice mushy. I should have waited to get home to cook myself;

We are growing to love this place! It’s so nice to have delivery that isn’t pizza or Chinese. They’re always on time, the food is hot, and everything is delicious!

Don’t let the location fool you. You should give this place a try.
It was a Sunday evening and I was in search for some soul food. I found the location on Unilocal.I must admit I was very hesitant to be eating at a carry out only place. Especially one behind a gas station, but to my surprise the food was great. We order several dishes and enjoy them all. My favorite was the ribs. It had a nice smoked flavor and the meat was very tender. The cajuin corn has some kick and was good. Mac and cheese was o.k. The pork chops had a nice breading and the greens are definitely worth giving a try. Last but not least was the desserts the peach cobbler and the sweet potatoe pie were definitely homemade and delicious. We will be back delicious food, quick pleasant services, and reasonable prices.

Franks is one of the best BBQ joints in Atlanta, GA. HANDS DOWN!!! Food is always hot and fresh my favorite is the peach cobbler it melts in your mouth like candy. They give optimal customer service it always makes me feel welcome and I come back continuously. I think they should open a chain of restaurants it’s that GOOD. MY all time favorite is the pork chop platter with mac n cheese and collards. All the food there is made with LOVE and I can tell they enjoy what they do. I’m hoping they will be a household name in the near future. What a great southern restaurant

We came here because it was a lazy Sunday night for us and no one felt like cooking. We headed to a local buffet place only to find they were closed. Luckily Unilocal pulled up this BBQ place when we looked for other options and discovered this place wasn’t too far away.
We pulled up and saw they had free WiFi, order ahead services and accepted credit cards.
I ordered the catfish, with Mac and cheese and red beans and rice. My husband ordered rib tips with Mac and cheese and jambalaya. Oh and a peach cobbler to share!
The wait wasn’t too long. We got to sit in our cars as we waited for our order and when it was ready they called it out by name.
Some of the the best we’ve had in a long time. We definitely will be coming back, especially to try the brisket, which sounds like it goes pretty fast!

This place looks kind of sketch hence it’s kind of behind a gas station. But let me tell you, this place is on and poppin’. The food is so good. My mom and my little too cousins we are all satisfied!

I called because I thought they delivered in my families area and the reviews on the rib tips!!! The rib tips are 5 stars, the mac & cheese and collard greens are 3 stars, the peach cobbler and sweet potato pie was 4 stars, and the customer service was a 3… The young lady was not attentive nor did she try to sell any of the food items. She seemed to be frustrated over the phone and annoyed at checkout! I would still go back for the rib tips tho.

Looking for something different, Google led us here. This place rates 9 out of five stars. We have eaten there twice now, and will go back everytime we are in the area. Every single thing we have tried is EXCELLENT. The veggies are fresh and tasty, and cooked perfectly. The Collards are as good as any I have ever eaten, and already spiced up. The green beans are tasty and the texture is perfect. Beans and rice and corn are wonderful, too. Big surprise — POTATO SALAD — homemade and killer delicious! The most surprising dish was the Brisket. AMAZING, best I have ever eaten, and I have been around. The Ribs are equally excellent, fall-​off-​the-​bone, and tasty. What they KNOW how to do is to flavor food. Everything is spiced to perfection and has FLAVOR. No salt and pepper needed.
Then, I got the BBQ Pork sandwich. The best I have ever had — ever. Stop reading reviews and get your butt in gear. Be prepared to wait 10 – 20 minutes for the best food around, the wait is worth it. The people are SO friendly and courteous, the REALLY KNOW how to run a restaurant. Did I mention the Health rating was 97 out of 100. Yeah. And David (whose place it is, named after his Dad, Frank) has a nephew who remembered me from my visit three days before and remembered what I ordered.
All of you restaurant owners need to go eat here — it is a case study in how to serve tasty, perfectly prepared food, with Southern courtesy and professionalism.
In conclusion — Apple and Peach Cobbler!

Rib Tips! Rib Tips! i’ll say it again… Rib Tips!
I’m hard pressed to find any place in the atlanta area who serves Rib Tips correctly. In my years living here in the area (formerly from Chicago) I have not come across many places at all that have any idea of what a rib tip is, let alone, can make them correctly. Franks rib tips were full of flavor (Great BBQ sauce btw) and were lean and full of meat (some places are notorious for having tips full of fat! another grave mistake). Franks does it right! And to top it off, for the right price!
If you are in the ATL, and from Chicagoland area, looking for that authentic taste that you remember. hit up Franks you wont be disappointed.

The best home cooking away from home you can fin in the A. If you have a day and want something soulful hop over here and let Franks satisfy that craving that you have

I will definitely be returning to Frank’s. I ordered the catfish platter with a side of collards, red beans and rice, and an extra side of mac and cheese.
The catfish was piping hot and crispy, smooth as butter on the inside and oh soooo good!
The collards were on point. Cooked very nicely. Just the right texture because lord knows that I just hate over cooked greens. The flavor was great. I like mine a tad spicier, but some hot sauce fixed that right up.
The red beans and rice were flavorful and had nice little chunks of meat in it. I could have just eaten a bowl of it for dinner and been satisfied. Very filling and rich mmmm mm mm!
The best part of my meal was the extra side of mac and cheese that I had ordered. Heaven in my mouth is the only way to explain it. So creamy and cheesy! Probably the best mac I’ve ever had outside of home cooking!
I will be returning this Sunday to try the peach cobbler that I’ve heard so much about. My compliments to the chef!

Ok, so I’ve wanted to try this place for a while but never made it there, until tonight…
All I can say is my compliments to the chef! I ordered the rib tips, collards, mac n’ cheese, and peach cobbler. The sides were flavorful and cooked perfectly. They added bbq sauce to the ribs, I typically get it on the side since 9 out 10 sauces I’ve had I didn’t like. But I gave it a try and it was great! Sweet, spicy, and a perfect fit for the smokiness of the tips. Now for the cobbler… I’m from Mississippi and grew up around amazing cooks. And I have to say this was one of the best cobblers I’ve had out side of my home state. Sweet, great texture on the fruit, amazing crust…
I will definitly be back, as soon as I wake up from this nap.

This makes no sense, none at all. FRANK, if I wasn’t so full I’d drive back up there to slap someone’s momma. Every single fork full of goodness was tasty. From the roll to the pork chop. I have passed by you guys for years wondering what was going on in that small building. If I only knew yall had that in ya, lord lord lord. Yall have messed up.
On a serious note, I ordered 2 platters. 1. rib tips, mac n cheese, collard greens and corn bread. 2. Pork chops, mac n cheese, coleslaw and roll. And for dessert we split the peach cobbler.
Hands down best rib tips I have ever had in my 34 years of being on this earth. A few were a little dry due to the smoke but that’s OK. The pork chops, omg. Coleslaw was cold and creamy. Yumm. And the mac and cheese… frank, I need this recipe. The collard greens were not bitter like most places and had a good bit of meat in them. Well seasoned, everything was well seasoned. I will be visiting you guys on a regular basis. Thank you for bringing real food to Marietta.
