Fred T. Powers, Jr. D.M.D. (Doctorate of Dental Medicine)

Dr. Fred is a proud 1985 graduate of the prestigious «Washington University School of Dental Medicine» located in St. Louis Missouri. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in 1981 from Chapman University. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Tri-​County Dental Association.

Dr. Fred is certified in the use of «MINI» Dental Implants.

He is certified and a «Première» Provider of Invisalign.

Dr. Fred has spent many years as a private pilot providing hours of both humanitarian and dental services to those in need both in Mexico and the United States.

I’ve been going to powers dentistry for a few years they are seriously wonderful! Fast and trustworthy, the listen to any concerns and take really well care of you. Recently took my daughter for her 1st cleaning and they were amazing! Made my daughter feel comfortable and she was so happy!

I booked an appt. online via Unilocal and received a call from Rene the next day to confirm. I arrived 15 minutes early to fill out any required paperwork. Rene told me I did not have an appointment and that they do not use Unilocal.She told me that she called me, to have me call her, which makes no sense at all. When she called she didn’t ask me to call her, why would she when she was already speaking to me? She was confused and couldn’t explain how she got my name and number if not from Unilocal.It was a total waste of my time.

This is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. The staff and Dr. Powers were extremely nice and welcoming. Dr. Powers actually took the time and talked with me before even getting started. Most dentist I’ve had in the past are always in a rush and just want to get you in and out. I am so excited to have finally found a wonderful and truthful dentist for my family. I highly recommend this office to everyone.

Absolutely the best dentist I have ever been to. Called the day before yesterday to see if I could be seen for my toothache (pain level 5… not to serious). They fit me in at 5 pm the next day. About an hour before I leave for my appointment I get a drink of water. Holy hell it felt like someone drove a nail through my tooth and up into my brain!
Once I arrived at the office the girls up front were super nice. Dr. Powers was able to see me within like 5 minutes and he diagnosed my problem almost as quickly. I needed a rooted canal and a new crown.
The root canal took about 30 to 45 minutes and was painless (unlike my first root canal 10 years previously from a different dentist… long and very painful). Dr. Powers knows how to give painless novicane shots which is a big plus.
Anyhow, that was yesterday and today the area around the tooth is a bit sore, but other than that I’m back on track. I’ll be getting my new crown in a week or so and I know it will be awesome. How do I know it will be awesome? Because Dr. Powers replaced one of my other crowns and it was great.
Great work, fair prices, friendly staff!!! Thanks Powers Dentistry! You have a customer for life!!!

Dr Powers is the best dentist I’ve ever seen. Everyone in the office is kind and flexible. Neither my husband or have had a bad experience! Aside from dental work, Dr Powers also gave me Invisalign.

I have ALWAYS had a bad experience at the dentist, with all the terrible experiences I became completely overwhelmed and anxious needing medication and a ride. My first visit with Dr. Powers I took my medication however I didn’t need it I was completely at ease. Several dentist told me I needed thousands of dollars in dental work and that did not include the crown I needed. Dr. Powers showed me where the other dentist were wrong and I walked out only paying $ 100.00. Now my visits are every 6 months and I am happy to go no pain what so ever even when I had to be numbed. Dr. Powers is friendly as well as his staff, very professional and clean up to date environment. I recommend Dr. Powers to all.

I gave this place several chances and overall I would never recommend this dentist to anybody.
The reason i wanted to give it only one star: A huge reason, though not the only one, is the fact that the billing woman is not competent and sends bills for collection that aren’t valid, calls with rude comments, and is not respectful or helpful in any matter at all. Then she expects you to sort it all even though it is literally her job to do so. HELPFUL [obvious] TIP: Perhaps if you don’t have customer service skills you shouldn’t be working in a fashion that causes you to interact with people.
Why i actually gave it two stars: the hygienists and x-​ray technicians are actually very good at what they do and are friendly and make you feel very comfortable.

Great Dentist very friendly and professional staff. great place for kids .They were able to do x-​rays on my 3 year old and clean her teeth. They explained different options available .Very welcoming décor .:)
