Fairfield Inn & Suites Phoenix Mesa

I can’t say enough about Fairfield Inn and their staff! They completely saved our entire vacation. After being completely screwed over by another hotel in the area, Fairfield Inn basically match their nightly rate so that we could stay there instead. The front desk gal, I think her name was Nicole, was phenomenal as was the owner. They made us feel at home and work with us to get the most convenient room for our family. we will definitely stay there again if we come back in the area anytime soon.

In town for a few days to visit my daughter at ASU. Shortage of Hotel availability due to the Phoenix Open on same weekend forced me to stay a little farther from campus than I had planned.
Overall I would say this property is a pretty good value. Rooms were decent size. WiFi worked flawlessly, and you DON’T have to re-​log on every day. Bathroom could use a little refurbishing (finish chipping off of tub in a few places, and a little rust at the base of the bathroom metal door frame) but not a big deal to me. Breakfast was pretty standard for this type of Hotel: obligatory waffle maker, scrambled, or hard boiled eggs, breakfast meat, fruit, cereal, etc. Coffee is available in the lobby all day. Desk staff is friendly and helpful.
Per some other reviews, the AC fan is a little louder than I am used to, but when it is running, you just hear a steady whirr of the fan, and not any rattling or other spurious noises, so I didn’t mind it at all.
Nice quiet location. Backs up to golf course on one side. Many restaurants nearby, including a sandwich shop to die for (Ike’s Love and Sandwiches). Easy access off of 60 a little bit East of the 101.
I would stay here again.

Just recently stayed here. Made a big mistake.
I was given a room that had not even been cleaned. Was then told I would receive a discount for the room. Did not happen.
Tried to take care of it in the morning. The front desk clerk would not get off the phone.
I am a Platinum member in the Marriott Rewards. Does not mean much to this hotel.

This place is a rip off, I’ve never smoked a cigarette in my life and I was charged for smoking in the room. I really wish I had taken pictures of the room before I settled because there were beer bottle caps in the draws (from previous guests) hair in the bath, and towels that were a different shade of white. I’m not the type to complain about small stuff considering I always bring my own towels, blankets and and other supplies I may need, next time I won’t be such a nice and easy going person

I loved this place, the room was spacious, it had all the necessary in it. Bathroom had a bathtub, extra towels & toiletries, hair dryer, clothes iron. It was at a Really good price and also It had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and night stands to put clothes away. The ice Machine was down the hall, TV had cable, the air conditioner Worked, that was a plus! For breakfast there was eggs, sausages, cereals, muffins, waffles, coffee, juice, fruit, water, the only thing is that it’s set up for 2 hours only from 7am-​9am so you have to be up, because after 9 you’re not allowed to get anything even if there’s food there. I didn’t get the chance to use the pool, but it is open from 7am-​11pm, fitness room (I didn’t use it) but overall I was really satisfied with the room and the service I received during my stay.

Stayed here on business recently. I should have opted for the Courtyard Marriott. The room was spacious and clean but I have never heard such a loud air conditioner. I had two options, off and suffocate or turn it on and not sleep. I said something to the desk clerk but was ignored.
I’m a Marriott Platinum but as I’ve learned, it means little.
The price was very good, the breakfast the typical Fairfield carb fest, however, the AC was horrible!

Horribly rude over night staff. Treated us like we were stupid for asking a simple question as «do you have early check in available? I have a reservation for tonight.» The plumbing in our roo sucked and we called and they ignored us. I got an extra charge saying that my party shoved toilet paper in the tank of the toilet and broke the toilet and pipes. They didn’t inform me of this or any issues until 24+ hours after I had checked out and said that it was my fault because I had children. We had only been in the hotel from 4pm until 9 am. Worst experience ever. They tried to play it off as they were doing me a huge favor by only charging me an extra $ 150. Worse hotel ever. Don’t give them your credit card.

Had a decent stay. Room was spacious. The AC was a bit noisy and we had to shut it off so we could get some quiet during the night. Showers were decent. The breakfast was a nice touch. The usual wafflemaker, fruit, eggs, sausage, yogurt, etc. There is something for everyone if you’re not too fussy. Free WIFI. Free parking. Convenient to everything. What’s not to love? Would stay here again.

Friendly and professional staff, room was nice but I had problem the first night with the smoke alarm malfunctioning which woke me up only after being asleep for four hours :(. The front desk was called and I was informed that maintenance would not arrive until 8:30. Issue was finally repaired around 8:45am.
This was an issue because the type of job I’m in is supporting third shift and now with no sufficient sleep my day was going to be extra long, in fact I did not arrive back to the room until 4am.
I enjoy soaking in the tub, but discovered that the bathtub is not really designed for an adult, very uncomfortable to use.
I will continue to stay in a Marriott property but when visiting the phoenix area I will be patronizing a different property.
By the way, I did receive a 15.00 discount for the alarm incident, thanks Fairfield Inn but this was not good enough. :(

I was very happy with this hotel. Our purpose was to have a place to sleep, while visiting friends and relatives. The breakfast was great too.
Our room was clean and comfortable.
Staff was friendly and there is not much else beside the price was great.
The hotel could use a little bit of detail work, but then again, so could my home.

Not much variety for breakfast but at least they have eggs and meat plus waffle maker.

Terrible just terrible…
The rooms are supposed to me non-​smoking which is not true.
I have incredibly bad allergies and when I complained to the front desk they said I have a confirmed reservation and they will see what they can do in the morning.

Great place with a driving range next door and gyms nearby, I like staying here as it is a lower cost Marriott property with a good location for my sales calls, The room I am in now has cathedral ceilings and ample room. Also a microwave and small fridge,

I prefer staying at a Marriot simply because I use my rewards points. It does not get me much, but I do know that the beds and rooms are really clean and comfortable.
A recent trip to Arizona found me at the Fairfield Inn… Granted not all Fairfield Inns are equal in size.
I looked this one up on the Marriot Website called the 800 number and was told the rooms were full. So I made a reservation online and got in just fine.
MY COMPLAINT on this two star is the fact that on line it said the room had a space for a roll away bed which I needed for my 4 year old. Well once we got into the room, there was NO WAY a roll out would fit. It would have blocked the entry and the bathroom. So please MARRIOT do not advertise room for a rollaway when clearly there isnt one. Even the lady at the desk knew it. No larger rooms to be had either.
So be weary travelers with kids… I’m sure it was a safety issue putting one in the door way. The fire department would have issues im sure.
Needless to say, I moved another hotel

My husband and I went for the weekend. The beds were extremely comfortable. Complimentary continental breakfast, not much to pick from. The rooms were surprisingly very spacious. The front desk workers were very kind. Everything was pretty clean. The TV was old and would get a bit of static every once in a while but over all it was a great stay and would definitely stay again.
