Brickell Nail Spot

Update: PARKING ISN’T FREE on Friday nights. It is $ 5 to park in the lot for 2 hours. You pay $ 10 upfront and they return $ 5. NEW MANICURIST: Eva no longer works there, BUT I found new manicurist DIUMILA. She is a perfectionist and even does designs. :-) I had a gel polish manicure done with a simple design and I left with perfectly cut cuticles, original gel polish completely removed before reapplying fresh gel, a cute simple design (for my taste) and nails filed as requested (square with the corners slightly rounded). I will say I would have liked her to have painted closer to the cuticle so they wouldn’t look like they already grew out before I even left. But with gel polish you risk it lifting if you paint to close. Small price to pay for the outstanding service. My original lady as now found her competition.

Worst mani ive ever had. Left with bleeding hands and a lot of pain. Nails were uneven, unfinished, and were chipped in a day. Went somewhere else to fix it and they were amazed at how terrible my nails were.

It’s not a glamorous spot, but I had a great pedicure from «V». She was very meticulous and professional. I will definitely go back.

Went to get my nails done Saturday morning. The owner is really sweet, and I got my nails done by Jeanette. It was the first time she painted my nails but I HIGHLY recommend her. She paints in your nail (none of that excessive cleaning w a tiny brush). My nails looked like shellac but they weren’t. Also, did a great job fixing my toe. Can’t comment on the other technicians but Jeanette is fabulous.
I will come again.

I feel like this place is a manicure and pedicure sweat shop. None of the girls speak English or have any idea what is going on. It’s clearly not a place that is used to doing natural nails because the polishes are mostly settled and unmixed. The pedicure was super rushed and the polish was done very sloppily. I asked the manager on hand to please ask the poor girl to clean up the polish on my skin as well as the polish still on my nails from my last pedicure. I just feel badly for these girls. They clearly haven’t been trained well and just seem miserable. I tried my best with my Spanish to carry on a conversation but it wasn’t much help.
This place is definitely set up for women who are more interested in gel nails, tips, shellac, etc.
not the cleanest place or the most updated place, either but that the least of their concerns.
Oh and no credit card tipping so my poor enslaved manicurist has to wait two days until I can go back and give her something for her mediocre rushed job.

Prices were easily seen as you walked in.
However I did not see where any of the technicians licenses were displayed.
Which is weird.
All female techs had their nails painted or shellacked.
Which is unexpected. Usually nail tech have unpainted nails.
The pedicure was fairly basic. I would have liked my nails cleaned a little more, but maybe that’s just a preference.
Tech did not put lotion on after the scrub. It left my legs and feet feeling dry and tight :/​.
The place was clean… but one tech that was not helping me poured a used manicure water dish into the foot bath next to me. Kind of weird. Will it be cleaned again before someone puts their feet in there?
There was only one foot dryer so I had to wait for a guest to finish drying her hands. The pedicure dryer situation needs some attention. I don’t have long legs… I had to sit at the edge of the chair so my feet would touch the ground. Poor design and really uncomfortable.
Over all– a decent experience. If this place has a few tweaks it would be a better. Nothing about today was memorable. If I am in the area I will try it again.

Amazing nail salon ! Been coming here since last year and always I leave happy and extremely satisfied all the staff are great, very clean, no waiting for the appointment, really good prices ! Totally will recommended, I don’t change them for no one :)

Walked in and immediately turned around and left. Have never seen a filthier nail salon. They would be shut down if the health dept knew what was up. Go here if you want a staph infection.

I’ve been here 2 times now & I love the way they do my nails. They always takes their time & gets the shape/​length exactly how I like. And Park in the back, they validate parking for 2 hours with a receipt from Brickell Nail Spot

I wish I could give them no stars at this point. Not only did the nail tech keep pushing for me to get more service instead of focusing on giving me a pedicure that I have ask for. I have never had a 15 min pedicure and paid almost $ 30 for it. I get my feet done every month and was absolutely disgusted in how I got rip off by such an unprofessional nail tech. I could have just painted my nails myself. I will never return to this pitiful excuse

My friend and I made two pedicure appointments. We were helped right when we walked in which is always nice…
My technician was okay, not the best not the worst.
Same with my friends, he was content with the overall pedicure.
One thing I just really did not understand was the fact that she killed a fly on his leg 2 times.
I cant help but to laugh, and I know it sounds so obsurd, but I was just kind of shocked that she slapped his calf with both her hands, proceeded to look at her hands to make sure she killed the fly… and didnt even properly wipe them off or wash them after.
I dont know if im overreacting, but its just something I really am not used to seeing, and just turned me off a bit.
This place was nothing special, I dont really see a need to come back unless I am in a desperate need of an emergency appointment

I am so ticked off, I went here before my vacation to get my acrylic nails taken off and have my own nails painted with shellac. I went on 9÷18÷14 and as of Monday 9÷22÷14 my polish is chipped and cracking. I paid $ 45 to get this done and completely not worth it! Now while I’m on vacation I have to go get my nails redone!

My 2 friends & I went in for impromptu mani-​pedis & had a blast with the owner & salon technicians! I has GiGi and she was funny and sweet. Everyone there was. Great & we left with smiles on our faces. I’ll def return when I’m back in the city.

Best value in all of Brickell, great customer service … Tony & Eva do the best nails by far if your into fun designs & rhinestones. The owner is very friendly, the energy here is just heavenly. They do eyelash extensions here also the two week ones & the month ones ask for Eva

Great service and prices! I live right in Brickell so this place is convenient — especially given all the construction– I can just walk from my apt. I had Giselle who was pleasant and detail oriented. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in Miami!

Was visiting the area and had a great experience at the brickell nail spot.
WARNING: the construction in front of this venue is impossible! Had to walk roundabout several blocks to get there (there are several closed streets around it). So leave extra time to get there!
The spot itself is super cute and clean. The greeting was so friendly. They have a great selection of Essie and OPI. My french manicure was great and thorough. She adjusted the thickness exactly to how I wanted. I’m a week out and it’s unfortunately peeling off, usually I can go 10 – 14 days so I’m thinking they might be able to improve on base coat or topcoat. I got the mani for a wedding so overall it worked out. Cheap prices! Mani for $ 15, French for $ 20.
This will be my go-​to nail spot in MIA!

So I came here twice in the last month. The first time to get gel fill, which I must say I was not thrilled with. They nail tech (a new women from South America, can’t remember her name) left a lot of «scuff marks» on my nails. The didn’t look very good. Since the nail tech was only doing a fill, and I had originally gotten my nails done at another salon (read separate bad review) I decided to write it off as my nails having a bad foundation and there was nothing else that the nail tech could do. Unfortunately I had many problems after this. The nail bed area by my cuticles stared bruising and the nails lifted within one week and barely made it to two weeks. I read online that gels do not last as long so when I came back
I came back and got acrylic put on this time. My nail tech this time was EVA and she did an amazing job. My nails look perfect. I am a perfectionist so I very rarely say that sometime did this good of a job. I actually loved her work so much tat I booked her for a follow up. Now Eva was not the friendliest or chattiest person… which is fine with me. I come to get my nails done, not have a chat. Seriously she only said about 10 word and smiled once, but she did a great job, and that’s what I pay for.
I also found out Eva does the eyelash extensions. I believe she said that the individuals are $ 130 for a full set and the clump/​strips are $ 45. I’m going to go back for the individuals so I will write a review once I get them.

I couldn’t believe how hard it was to find a damn nail salon in downtown Miami. All I wanted was lunch, nails and tanning! I guess that was too much to ask for. Thankfully I found Brickell Nail Spot via Unilocal mobile. Our walk there was, um, exciting? lol we almost got ran over twice but we were walking on a very busy street.
Once we walked in, we had no problem getting help. The receptionist (a man) got us little water bottles and made us feel right at home. The ladies were sweet. They helped us choose our colors and got down to business.
I think I paid $ 15 for my many and my friend got a no chip for $ 45. Not bad.
It wasn’t your typical Chicago nail salon, all the ladies there were hispanic. I found that amusing. =]

I went today and got right in. I got my nails done by Kim and I don’t know what the other reviewer was talking about (maybe she caught her on a bad day) but today she was very chatty, funny, and did my nails perfect. I got acrylics and wanted them painted black which is always a challenge but Kim made sure to clean the nail polish after she applied it.
I will definitely return.
