I always give the food here a five, but the service is usually a 2, on a good night. All the time. I dont understand it.

I came here tonight to finally try the food. It’s a homey feeling not fancy or anything. There’s lots of parking. The service was really good. The waitress was very helpful with suggestions and offered her own opinions on certain dishes and how she would personally order it. The food was okay. We ordered the lechon kawali which was good and portion size for the price was okay. We ordered it with no rice. Maybe that’s why we got a nice portion. We also ordered the Hawaiian beef steak which was okay. It tasted like a piece of steak that was marinated in teriyaki sauce and sliced up. We got this plate with rice and Mac salad. The portion size for the price, to me, was a little high. All in all, it was okay. There were some other things on the menu that I would like to come back and try but I don’t know if I will rush to do so.

Alonzos is located in Mililani on golf course. As you enter it’s on immediate right. This place is pretty popular with the golfers and even locals who are regulars. My hubby was ono for hamburger steak(very popular) so we decided to do take out. I called ahead of time to be sure they even do take out, I can’t remember the last time I ate here so wanted to be sure nothing had changed. As I entered there were about 3 different groups dining in, so very slow. There were 3 servers in sight. Right away Jess(I think that’s her name) was very nice and asked how many was dining, I told her I actually wanted to do takeout so she handed me a menu so I could look over. Of course me being hungry could not decide on what to eat for myself. I ended up ordering the lechon kawali(fried porkbelly, onion, tomato, and shoyu vinegar) mmmmmmm. So good. As I was ready to order she inputted in system and asked me to come over to the other counter to pay, from my view at the counter you can see the kitchen area which looked somewhat greasy. As she closed me. out she offered me to take a sat and even gave me a water while I waited. A+ for her. The inside seating area is interesting, I to all plastic chairs and tables as if you were dining outside, there’s a lot of space for bigger parties and a party room in back, there are two playing football and it was pretty quiet today but I bet on a busy day it could be loud. After 15 minutes the food was ready, she packed it up nicely and even let me know that she made the sauce seperate and rice was her, etc. She was really nice, even tipped her for take out because she was so nice. Now that’s service! Once we got home and dug in I have to say everything was on point, hamburger steak was tasty and very ono along with the gravy for it and the lechon was nice and crispy how I like it. The sauce was the perfect ratio if vinegar and shoyu. All in all everything was very good and I would recommend if you wanna get a bite to eat and watch the game on Sunday or just to go with family they have plenty of space and plenty of parking.

Food: my Faves are: Hawaiian steak,(grilled and tender with a teriyaki sauce, 2 scoops rice, and their spaghetti noodle salad), Pork Gisantes(about a 20 min wait for any Filipino dish), and Garlic chicken. I give it 4 stars because the location is at Mililani golf course, and it can sometimes get really busy so u might have to wait. Value: 10 to 20 dollars for a plate or for a combo plate… $ Portions are big so if you aren’t hungry, you can take the rest home.

Being that this is pretty much the only place to get Filipino dishes in Mililani, that alone deserves a couple stars lol. This place is located in the golf course area so the parking can get crowded at times but I’ve never had any problems. The atmosphere is very casual, lots of locals and the seating is primarily lawn chairs… I’m cool with that. Food selection and prices are good. My personal faves are always the adobo fried rice and lechon kawali. The serving sizes are generous, I’d say enough to feed at least 3 pretty hungry people. The only down sides are that they close pretty early and orders normally take about 15 – 25 minutes to be prepared. Other than that like I said its the one place in Mililani I know I can get great Filipino dishes!

Again OMG! Went there this past Friday 9÷11÷15. Group party for lunch. I had the fried Pata, a bit chewy but still good so long as you soak each piece in the vinegar sauce they give with the Pata. One of the other guys had the Beef Lauya. It was wonderful. Pieces of beef, beef broth, veggies like mustard cabbage, and ginger root. Perfect that day because it was raining and cold. But the soup hit the spot. The service was great and our waitress was on it. What a good memory, she would come by and remember what everyone was drinking. Go there early they have a steady crowd.

Waited 25 minutes for a hamburger, grilled cheese and their famous philly sandwich and fries which was $ 14.95. This sandwich is served on 2 hotdog buns. Maybe that’s why it’s so expensive!!! The white sauce was messy and it was not appetizing at all! Fries were cold, the grilled cheese was soggy. I noticed while waiting for my check, then waiting for someone to cash me out, that the table with a similar order waited less than 10 minutes for their order. The kitchen sucks and the waitresses spend more time socializing with each other than checking on their tables. It was a big FAIL all around.

Great food, not just Fillipino food. We eat and drink here after golf and the food is always plenty and good. I like the Hawaiian chop steak. The garlic chicken and the lechon are other favs. My friends like the oxtail soup and tripe stew. Lots of food so go there hungry! They could up date their décor. But, if they keep the prices down who cares?

Oh Alonzo… Whoever you are… You have part of my heart, and part of my stomach! I came here years ago because a friend told me that they have great fried noodles. I would like to think I’m somewhat of a fried noodles connoisseur, if there ever was one. Let me tell you, Alonzo’s fried saimin quickly made it to my «top 3 fried noodles» list. It’s not oily, perfectly seasoned, with the perfect mixture of veggies and meat. Oh just thinking about it has my stomach growling and mouth watering! Don’t forget their fried rice too! The pork adobo in the fried rice falls apart in your mouth. Really everything here is really tasty. And the service is always friendly and fast. They also have spam musubis with egg and takuan. Omg this would also make«my top 3 spam musubi» list! My son loves it as well. Alonzo’s also sells their marinated meat for you to take home and cook on your own. Drool. I’m making myself hungry! I’m going to just head on over to Alonzo’s right now. You should too!

I have never had a bad meal here, and I don’t think I ever will. Last night I tried the Oxtail Soup and loved it! I usually eat the Hawaiian Beef Steak or Pork Adobo Omelette. It was REALLY hard not to eat one of those two(I’m always a creature of habit), but I ventured out and it was sooo worth it.

First time eating breakfast here and wasn’t to crowded got seated right away and got served right away. Our waitress did an exceptional job. Very patient, nice and checked on us often. Nice smile. Got our food in a reasonable amount of time. Ordered the adobo fried rice omelette and my boyfriend had the special crispy pata. Both highly recommended both was juicy and crispy. Really really good. Portions were really big and well worth it. Gets your money worth. They have fried ice cream here but I was so full I just couldn’t but heard its worth trying. Gave a 4 star just cause they close at 7pm which is pretty early I think. Would def come here often for either breakfast lunch or dinner.

You just can’t beat the Filipino food here. Lechon is always a staple, and recently I discovered the beef lauya soup. The soup reminded me of an oxtail soup broth, but instead of oxtail meat, it was tender chunks of beef, mustard greens, and bamboo shoots. Sooo delicious, especially on a cold rainy day in Mililani. Prices are a little steep compared to your regular Filipino eateries, but the dishes are prepared with quality ingredients and cooked as fresh as possible. Nothing turns me off more than food that taste like it sat around under a warmer all day. If dining in, it does take a little bit for your food to get to the table. We normally call for take-out and the food is just as good. We will definitely be back soon.

I’ve never dealt with worse service. Their food here is great, and in my past experiences I’ve never been disappointed with their quality of food. However, there’s an overarching theme for every time I’ve gone here: rude waiters and slow service. I understand that the restaurant can get busy at times, but waiting over an hour for your food at any restaurant is ridiculous. When we approached the waiter to complain, she looked at us, didn’t miss a beat and said«Cancel Table 7.» THAT’S IT. No «sorry», no «we’ll take care of it.» Instead, she opted to cancel our order. If you have the time and patience to deal with an unruly stuff that takes their time, then Alonzo’s is right for you. However, I believe that the quality of food will never make up for terrible service and I will not be back here again.

This place is excellent! We had Hawaiian beef steak, which was tender and flavorful. We also ordered Pancit, pinakbet, pork adobo, dinuguan, adobo fried rice omelet and fried pata. All were to die for!!! It was a lot of food, which was great for left overs. The servers were friendly. Overall we loved it and came here twice before going back to the mainland. One thing, make sure to call before you come. Sometimes they have parties and events and they’ll close down the restaurant. Also, there are certain menu items they don’t start doing till 2pm.

We were on this side of the island watching a niece’s softball game and stopped by for lunch. The first time we stopped they were closed for a private event, but the second time, we were golden! The rest of my family had been here before, so I was the only first timer. The restaurant is located on the golf course and it is the ‘19th hole’ of this location. We went at lunch time and it was full of golfers that had finished their rounds and were watching sports on the many tvs. It is a fairly good sized restaurant, but definitely crammed full of as many tables and chairs as they could find… positively a popular hangout. The service was quick here and our server was very nice. I asked my family what to order and they said to get Filipino food. So I shared with them. We had: Fried Pata Crispy Pork Shank resting on a bed of sliced Tomatoes & Onions Yeah, so I didn’t really know what to expect, but it was awesome. Imagine a large pork shank bone with all the meat and fat cut off into chunks… and then throwing all of it in a deep fryer, including the bone. I am a fan of crispy and this was so good. The sauce was very good as well for dipping. All you need is a bowl of rice and you are good to go! Lechon Kewali Seasoned and Roasted Belly Pork with Onions and Tomatoes. Pretty similar dish to the fried pata, but different cut of pork. Definitely a little more fatty, but hey… that makes it better. The sauce also tasted similar to the pata, but again… so amazing. Great crispy texture and so flavorful. Beef Lauya — Beef simmered in a clear broth with bamboo shoots and mustard cabbage So my bro ordered this and I am like… ok… soup…why would he order soup. Until I tried it. This was my favorite dish at the restaurant. The broth itself was perfectly balanced and utterly addictive. I could eat this everyday. This bowl was passed around the table so many times, I think my bro only got half his meal. I will so order this next time I am here. All in all, a good experience. A very casual restaurant where you don’t have to worry about what you are dressed like(of course, most restaurants on the island fit this category) and a place where you can get excellent Filipino food(aka Pig Candy).

Lechon Kawali whaaaat. Yummmmm is an understatement. Located inside the mililani golf course it is super convenient for many golfers. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner considering there are many people who golf throughout different times of the day. I ordered the amazing lechon kawali and it was fresh and crispy. You can tell that they fried it on the spot. It was not soggy like some restaurants. That is a big pet peeve for me since I am filipino and I know how real lechon kawali should taste. It had their special alonzo sauce. It was made to perfection. The onion and tomato that came with our dish complimented the pork belly to a T. Price for this meal is $ 14 and $ 2 extra for rice. There was no wait and we were seated right away. Our food was pretty quick too. We also ordered their lumpia as an appetizer. It cost about $ 9 and worth the wait for it’s generous portion. All in all I will be coming back to this place. I am determined to try the rest of the filipino food. Don’t forget to tip appropriately. Happy Unilocaling!

SIZZILINGHAMBURGERSTEAK. When I was there, I ordered this by myself and then I kept hearing guys ordering the«mini hamburger steak.» I figured that this would be big, but it was HUGE. One pound of hamburger smothered in brown gravy and caramelized onions. Super awesome! It can be a trek out to Mililani, but this is a nice chill place with a variety of food. I’ve come up here with the family when they visit. They have Filipino food that meets the standards. Not exactly what you would expect at a golf course in Mililani. They also seem to have marinated meats that you can take to go for BBQ on your own. They also do catering(I wish I had known earlier when I had to buy food for 80 people). Go ahead and try it. It’s a chill atmosphere and good local food.

At first we went to Mililani Restaurant but it was 9:30 am and they open at 10:00am. So Alonzo’s at Mililani Golf Club was brought up and when we got here it was open. Of course we were the first ones here so there was a lot of seating. The inside was nothing special, plastic chairs, chalk board menu with the specials. Its just like whay you’d expect in a neighborhood diner. I had the Hawaiian Beef Steak medium rare. Oh boy was this a melt in your mouth treat for the taste buds! The marinate on this meat is for lack of a better word fricking unreal. The menu says its a secret recipe and you can tell why when you take your first bite. I highly recommend this dish. The Lechon and hamburger steak was really good too and the portions were good size and worth the money.
