History

Established in 1994.

the company started life in 1988 in templeton california. we were called «office of design» and we concentrated on residential drafting services for custom homes in central and northern california. in 1994 the business moved to los angeles and then for a short time to san antonio texas. the company was renamed doron dreksler design and we added commercial and residential design, drafting services and construction management to the list of services we provided. in 1996 the company moved to amador city california and in 2011 to san rafael california. the company is now called spire architecture inc. and offers both architecture, design-​build construction services, development and real estate investment opportunities to the western united states and beyond.

Business Owner

i have over 30 years of experience designing and building all kinds of things. it all started with legos, slot cars and toy trains, which i still play with on a regular basis. the influence of my engineer father, my highly creative sisters and mother, my contractor brother and my oldest brother who is a business owner and entrepreneur, i was meant to be an architect. my family gave me the confidence and support to set up my own business at an early age. i have an excellent architecture education from (sci-​arc) southern california institute of architecture as well as time spent at various community colleges, and the university of texas at san antonio. i have been lucky to use my design skills to solve interesting problems in many different design fields, including: architecture, industrial design, packaging design, product design, automotive design, aircraft and ship interiors. for fun i like to hang out with my family, race cars, scuba dive, run, play flag football and travel.
