I went here about 2 weeks ago for the oil change discount coupon for «checking in» here on Unilocal,hoping to be in and out for a decent price. Wrong. My car was actually taken back right away and the mechanic gave me a break down of cost. Then, after 45 minutes in the waiting room, he brought me back outside to discuss more costs… I know I needed synthetic oil for my VW and agreed to the up charge for that (which also disqualified me for the coupon… The whole reason I chose this place). But he proceeded to sales pitch me a million parts and services I KNOW I didn’t need in the most persistent manner. I finally had to bluntly tell him I was strictly there for a oil change and nothing more. He took the hint and finally checked me out. $ 100 later… Disappointed, will not be returning.

These guys are amazing. Friendly, happy to help and are honest about the repairs that are necessary vs. the repairs that can wait a few more paychecks. They have worked on 2 of my cars and several family members and friends’ cars. Each time they fix what i came in for and make recommendations for future things i need to be aware of. Totally professional, very helpful, and extremely good natured and fair folks.

I showed up here at 7 AM opening time. I was going to leave my car all day for a 10 minute oil change. They turned me away. This is after the man at the counter was lecturing the customer in front of me about bringing one of his own parts in… bad form gentlemen. I will not be back.

These guys are great. Everyone is nice, helpful and professional.
You can get scheduled quickly for appointments. They explain whats wrong with your care simply and give you realistic helpful advice.
I had my oil changed here recently. I also scheduled routine maintenance (waterpump and timing belt replacements). After the work my check engine light came on. Blake and Eric got me in for an appointment and determined what was going on, and fixed it quickly and for free. Great shop.

I received very good service here and no one attempted to upsell me or convince me to spend more money. Eric was very friendly and knowledgeable on the phone before I brought my car in for the first time. I paid exactly what they said I would and no more and my car was ready when they estimated it would be ready.

the service at E. Lake St. Precision Tune is very respectable. I thought I might have brake problems, so I took my car there. I did need new front brakes and they discovered my front left CV axle had blown out dumping the grease out of the rubber boot. They fixed my car in only two hours while I waited. I am very pleased with Blake, Eric and the mechanics there. Thanks a million!

I needed new tires so called around to several shops in the area. Precision Tune Auto Care gave me the best price by far and they were able to do the work next day. I was a little leery of using a new shop that I had never been to before and didn’t have a recommendation for but they were really nice on the phone and they were close to work so I decided to give them a try. I was really impressed when I dropped my car off — incredibly nice, professional, and they asked if I needed a ride anywhere. When picking up my car, they gave me a full explanation of what they did and there were no surprises with the pricing. I’d definitely recommend them to others and would not hesitate to use them again in the future!

These guys are more than mechanics, they are amazing human beings.
I felt that I got a great deal, and was not «taken». As a woman that is a feeling that most mechanics give, but these guys are the only exception in my book.
They even drove my son and I home (fixed my car), then picked us up in our newly fixed car!
