I’ve had several repairs made to my old VW through Top Gear and have found them to be prompt, knowledgable, and fair. It’s conveniently located, but I wish they had a bigger parking lot to accommodate the customers.

I have been going to Dave for several years, and I am a big fan of this place’s abilities to service my car. If you have a high end car, there is no better place to get it worked on in the area. Dave has some imp in him, but the service I have received over the years has always been fantastic — if you drive an AMG or the like, no better place for you.

Never used the auto shop, but the detailing place is the worst I’ve ever come across.

I may post more extensively on this subject. I have very mixed emotions after reading in Saturday’s newspaper about the very serious charges recently leveled against the owner of Top Gear, Dave Juntunen. I was also unaware of his lengthy criminal history. In light of recent events, it’s hard to see how the business will survive. If it does go under, it will be a genuine loss. My hope is that his crew quickly lands on their feet.
For now, pending further developments, with a mixture of anger and sorrow I can no longer endorse Top Gear.
