A3 Launch Party at Audi Mission Viejo

Yes, we beat the traffic and made to it to the event! Thank you Ryan C and Audi for the party. It was fun! As we got there, valet our car and went straight to the red carpet. One of the lady who was in charge of checking in people who signed up for test driving greeted us and said enjoy your evening as she points to where we should go.
We walked inside, many people were already having a cocktail, eating, and sitting by the couch watching the performance of a man spinning fire! That was totally out of nowhere, which was cool. Knowing us, course we went straight for a cocktail then wandered around. We had a fireball & coke and A3 Martini (Vodka, X-​rated, pineapple juice, and apple pucker). Fireball & coke was alright, too sweet for us, but we still tasted the alcohol. Martini hit the spot after like 3. Love how they pour it down the A3 ice block thing for the entertainment. Way to attract many of us to keep getting more. Now I know why so many of us were super happy. Hehe. Food was provided for all guests. We had sliders, shrimp skewers, and cheese & tomatoe salad served in plastic martini cups (fancy). Then they have a big basket of fried potato chips (very crunchy) then dessert (did not get the chance to try).
There were seats inside and out. Outside was set up with lamp heaters by each lounge tables and some tall tables by the new cars. The new Audi A4 2015 was parked in the front (black and white) for all guest to take pictures and to look. I’ve driven and sat in boyfriend’s A4 quattro, I can totally see the interior difference, but did not have the chance to experience the exterior. The cup holders are now put inside, instead of in between driver and passenger. Basically it’s underneath the radio. The sunroof covers up the passenger, driver and a bit of the backseat. I believe it’s a hard rooftop? Too bad we weren’t able to make it to their test drive, but at least we got the chance to attend the opening event.

Such a great launch party, everything that pertained to the launch was awesome. We got to test drive the new A3, MV Audi Served us up Kobe Mini Burgers on a pretzel bun, pretzel bun hot dogs, open bar, desert bar… I mean they really hooked us up.
My gripe, where were all the Audi Enthusiast? Were we the only ones there? Everyone I met said they got an invite from « Unilocal» and they didn’t own an Audi nor did they even want to purchase one.
I guess it was kinda good they showed up, cause the place was really crowded… mainly of all these Unilocalers, which almost seemed like freeloaders if you ask me. I shouldn’t hate, they are just taking what’s given to them. Just would of been nice to hang out with some Audi Enthusiast and talk some cars instead of talking about how people do reviews and get invited to review stuff like this launch party for «free stuff». To each his own… will I go again, you bet your ass and this time I’m bringing Audi People with me!

I didn’t RSVP for this event but was able to attend because Drew M. had a +1 that wasn’t being used. Thanks, Drew! So I headed down to Mission Viejo for a lovely A3 launch party. I didn’t test drive because I didn’t have time nor was I particularly interested. I came for the eats and there were plenty. They had American kobe beef sliders on pretzel bread, chicken salad sliders, Nathan’s hot dogs wrapped in bacon with mango salsa on pretzel bread, caprese martinis, bacon mac & cheese, shrimp skewers and house made chips from BLK Burgrz. Everything was delicious so I’ll have to try their Ladera Ranch location one day. They also had a martini luge with a A3 inspired martini. The photo booth was from Dazzle Photo Booth and they provided an array of props for photos. There was also a DJ and dance floor but I didn’t stay long enough for the live show. We met a few Audi owners who were invited to the launch party and they were saying that it was their first time at an event like this. Thanks to Audi Mission Viejo and Ryan C. for offering this exclusive perk to Unilocalers.

A car dealership. Yes. I know, right?!?
I was happy to be invited to this event. I actually did not know what to expect, but I did want my fiancé to enjoy a test-​drive since he liked Audis but has never had a chance to experience the car for himself.
We had a scheduled test-​drive between 5 – 6, and we arrived a few minutes before 5 pm. Valet was quick and friendly, they directed us to where we needed to be. I registered, and BAM! An associate was already walking us to the car. No wait at ALL.
We test-​drove with Dennis. He was amazing! In my experience, usually the associate just lets you drive, then just answers any questions you might have. Dennis was different. He gave out specific instructions on how to drive, for a better feel of the vehicle. He made my fiancé make a sharp right turn and because I was not buckled in the backseat, I SLID from almost end to end. Yes, I started screaming. LOL.
It was a good 20-​minute drive, and we even stopped to switch seats. I was nervous at first, the car seemed a bit too fast than what I am used to now. But after a few minutes, I relaxed and felt young, (wild and) carefree, like I was in my old Mustang again. This car was smooth and FAST, for a sedan, I did not expect that at all. I would hit that «S» gear ALL the time. It made me feel like I was in Fast & Furious, hitting the NITROUS button. Awesome!!!
After the test-​drive, we relaxed and made ourselves comfortable. Appetizers were available outside, such as fruits and cheese, as well as non-​alcoholic drinks.
The food was served a few minutes after we got back. And what a SPREAD.
Kobe Beef Sliders — A little inconsistent with cooking, first it was good, the next time, it was slightly dry.
Mac n Cheese — Not much cheesy flavor, but hey, there’s bacon!
Bacon Wrapped Hotdogs — My fiancé loved these, and had 2!
Chicken sandwiches — A little bland.
Potato Chips — These were yummy! Some were burnt, but most were crunchyyyy!!!
Shrimp skewers — These were passed around by servers, and they even came to us like 3 times! My fiancé enjoyed them (I am allergic).
Mozzarella Basiltini — In Martini glasses. Too cute!
Desserts — I seriously was unable to try them all. Their selection was extensive, from fruit tarts to slices of different cakes and some kind of custard of different flavors.
The bar selection was also quite good for this kind of party!
I rarely drink alcohol, but somehow I wanted an A3 Cosmo. Yup, that was pretty strong. But they prepared it in a way where you had to grab the glass at the bottom of the A3 sign, cute!
Audi isn’t done, though! There were performances from a pyro and an air acrobat!
We found an R8 out back. No Iron Man though!
Best part, as in all Unilocal Elite Events and Perks, is (the photobooth!) meeting Unilocal friends! Hello to JoAnn D. (finally!) and Gilbert M.

Real classy, fun, creative event! I’m definitely looking into the A3! I felt like I was in a commercial for the new Audi A3. My friend and I just got off work, drove all the way out to Mission Viejo, pulled up and the valet attendant took the car (really, we could’ve parked it ourselves), opened the door to the party and there on the right was a table with jumbo shrimp on bamboo skewers, gourmet hot dogs in pretzel buns and hamburger sliders with bacon in a pretzel bun, macaroni and cheese, and a Capreese appetizer in a martini glass. Then we look to the left and there’s a martini luge with the A3 logo and slogan, «Stay uncompromised.» After we grabbed a bite to eat and a drink we sat down on the white pleather couch and out comes a girl dangling from the ceiling to Adventure Club’s remix of Crave you. This was all within the first five minutes of walking through the door! The new A3 is all wheel drive, sporty yet luxurious. I told my boyfriend I want one because I can take it to go hiking at the top of some windy road and it’ll handle it well and I can also take it to Vegas and not be embarrassed to take it to valet because it’s an Audi. Thanks again Ryan!

This was a great event. It had everything from DJ, fire breathers, aerial acrobatics, to great food and drinks. Not to mention that it was pretty cool being able to test drive the A3 which was an impressive ride.
The food here was amazing. I forgot who the caterer was, but I liked everything, especially the shrimp skewers topped with a mango salsa. I also loved the ice sculpted martini bar. It was pretty cool to see the Martini go through the ice slide down to your glass.
The best part of this party besides being able to test drive A3 without any hassle from dealers was that there were no lines for the food, drinks and the test drive. The entertainment was also pretty awesome. Thanks Ryan for setting this event up. It was a lot of fun.

Wowsas! Let see there was a Fire Dance Show, Aerialist, a DJ and plenty of food and cocktails. So let me guess Cirque du Soleil Las Vegas? No. I forgot to mention a car test drive happened also. Yup, Audi A3 Launch Party at Audi Mission Viejo. Awww yeah boyy! Thank you Ryan for the invite to such an awesome event. Most launch parties are invite only, but if you are a Unilocal Elite the sky is the limit.
This is my third test drive event I have ever been too. I gotta say that Audi takes the cake for the best experience. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was out this world. I felt like I was in a trend Euro Dance club but instead of fist pumping I was drinking martini’s poured down an A3 ice sculpture. The A3 impressed me with the turbo and power from such a small engine. Although, I could feel the lack of torque that a 6 cylinder would provide. This is a great starter luxury car, but I felt like I would prefer an A4 or A6. The car was the only thing that didn’t blow me away at this event. In terms of car only, I prefer the Mercedes C-​Class launch event and Lexus IS launch event better. And I would take the C class then IS and maybe the A3 if it was a gift.
I also received a special A3 Hat that only special guest would get. Oh wait… hmm. everyone that test drive this car got one. I feel not as special now. wah wah. Although, the entrance to this event was pretty fun. We got free Valet (I would prefer self park) and a host checked us in while another host walked us down the red carpet past the white couches to a nice spread of snacks. This was definitely a Hollywood premier because there were plenty of photographers, salesmen, and video-​graphers. We were only missing the celebrates. Do Elites count? :)
After the test driving portion of the event was over, the drinks started flowing at the bar. The music started along with the entertainment of crazy fire dancing *wink* and some aerialist fly from the ceiling.
This event blow past everything I expected. The only thing that could make it better would be a drawing for a free car. *sigh* maybe next time. I can always dream right? Also, the Audi salesman that I test drove with is also the man that sold my company’s CEO a new RS7. What a small world huh? Show Wice Afzal some love if you do decide to get an A3 or better :).

Did not get to make it to the test drive, but heard from a Unilocal Elite at the party that the test drives were a lot to fun and a shame to miss. Luckily, I can still sign up for the test drive, and Audi will give me a call back at a later date when a spot opens up.
The event itself was great. Event was classy, food was almost always stocked (did not get to try their tri tip!), performances were entertaining, best of all: no lines at the alcohol bar despite it being an open bar. Usually when people hear «open bar,» they will cram themselves into the line so that they can double fist! There was also no lines for the photo booths, so I was able to get up close to the camera three times and everyone in my party got to bring back a picture strip as souvenir from the party.
The event also had just the right amount of people. It was not too crowded where you have to wait at least 20 minutes to get food, drinks, or pictures, and not deserted where you can spot out the creepy old man staring at your from the corner. Met a few new Unilocalers, and am hoping to see them at the next Unilocal event!
Overall, I enjoyed Audi’s launch party in Mission Viejo very much. Thank you Ryan C. for finding this event, and to the Audi company for hosting! One funny thing I did see at the event, amidst loud music, party-​goers performers, and people with drinks in their hands, was a family of four trying to buy an Audi on the side of the room! Even more kudos to that!

What a GREAT event! Hats off to Audi MV for putting on such an entertaining party!
Started off with a test drive of the new Audi A3. Took a cute little gray model out for a spin, and it was so much fun that when I looked down at the speedometer, it was 95, and the Audi sales rep was grabbing onto the door handle for dear life… oops! After the test drive, we enjoyed some delicious food: hawaiian inspired hotdogs, several different sliders, mac and cheese, caprese salad, and of course a variety of different dessert items to satisfy our sweet tooth.
There was also amazing performances by a fire handler, I’m always impressed by people who can eat fire, or have fire on their bodies. Crazy!
Kudos to Ryan C for the hookup and the wonderful staff at Audi for hosting this.

Awesome Elite event in Mission Viejo! Kristen S. was my plus 1 but we opted not to test drive because of scheduling issues.
Still, what a chill place to check out, have an A3 specialty martini and try delicious horderves. The complementary valet set us in the perfect mood before we skipped the test drive registration queue and waltzed right in to enjoy food, drinks, photo booth and music. I really liked the ambiance of the place. Comfy seating everywhere. Classy vibe. Best of all, the staff was beyond kind and attentive.
No one was pushy. Every staff member and even community members were sweet, courteous and genuinely awesome. Thanks for such an organized event! Very impressive to pull off. Great Thursday night spent with great people.

It’s events like this that make it worth the work to be an Elite Unilocaler. The Mister and I had arrived a almost 6:30, but to our surprise, test drives were still going! Win! Our salesman (I forgot his name, the semi-​tall, dark, dashing smile one, with aviator sunglasses) was really sweet, flattering, and fun to drive with. The Audi 3 is definitely a very smooth car to drive even at high speeds of 90+mph!!!
Inside we encountered food which included: Mac n cheese, sliders, shrimpies, alcohol, fruits, veggies, and soda. My taste buds were satisfied. Alongside the food there was pretty awesome entertainment. The acrobats and scarf dancing girl were so hawt and sexy. Audi really knows how to entertain! The DJ of the night was also really keeping the buzz alive.

We arrived at 5:55pm not expecting to test drive the new Audi 3, since we expected a long line and a hard stop at 6pm. 30 seconds after we checked in, our car was ready for a spin. Jill (custom relations and also our escorter) was super sweet and hilarious. She made us feel comfortable and didn’t act like a «real» cars salesman (if you know what I mean). She commutes 120 miles to work because she truly loves her job. What a pleasant thing to hear. Kudos to fun and loyal crew.
3RD: Food galore: Kobe sliders, grilled shrimp skewers on sugar canes (my fave of the night), Mac & cheese (smoked gouda, jalapenos & long bacon strip), bacon wrapped Nathan dog, tri-​tip sandwiches, chips, fruits, veggies, cakes, desserts, beer, alcohol… the whole nine yards. WOW!
4TH: Shhh… we were in the midst of XMEN! Pyro fire eating man, Elastigirl flipping, twirling, spinning with one big piece of cloth. Amazing talent.
5TH: Live DJ kept us entertained, while Dazzle Photo Booth & their cool props kept us creative. Cool feature: email pix to yourself.
Every event becomes that much SWEETER amongst Unilocaler friends. What a delight it was to finally meet Gizelle M. and her hubby. Instant comfort! Gilbert M, you are full of smiles & kudos to you for giving up beer/​alcohol. 2 more weeks buddy. Nice to meet you both Sara Y and Beka (sorry if I spelled your name wrong).
They took it HOME for me when I saw Iron Man on one of their posters. If Tony Stark houses an Audi in his garage, those bad boys must be pretty bad a$$!!!

I don’t to go to many of theses Elite events, but I picked a good one to go to AND got accepted so first all Thanks Ryan!
Must confess that I generally avoid dealers like the plague because of their reputation, however this experience may have changed my mind.
I didn’t get there until 6:15 so thought I was out of luck for the drive, however, I stepped up to the red carpet and was asked my name and low and behold the nice lady pulls out a paper with my name and gives me a card with number. Didn’t have to wait too long and I was promptly put into a lovely A3, behind the wheel!!! I am in the market to buy a new vehicle in the next year or so and I’m going to put this as my top 3 for consideration. I was given two simple instructions. obey the driving laws and return my sales guy back to the dealership in one piece.
When we got back, went into the dealership for some lovely grub and awesome entertainment. I loved the caprese tomato martini, and lovely gastro-​delight of mac n cheese with jalapeño, and nathan hotdogs served in pretzel buns, topped with mango salsa. The flame dancers were great, but the woman twirling the fabric with her gymnastic/​dancing was the highlight of the night.
Awesome experience and will consider this dealership in the future.

Thank you Ryan for scoring us tickets to this awesome RSVP-​only event! DJ, ice luge martinis, awesome catered food, open bar, fire dancers, etc. I loved the desserts, especially the strawberry cake! I am in loooooove with the new Audi A3!!! My girlfriend and I had so much fun test-​driving the new Audi A3! I am really convinced on getting one too!
Photobooth was soooo much fun! YAY! What a fun way to unwind after a long day at work! Always good to meet and greet new Unilocaler friends too!

Short-​n-​Sweet: Invite only, free dinner, free alcohol, free soda, free wonderful entertainment… and a joy ride in an Audi A3. What more ya want?
Story Time: I am so very pleased that this was an option for Eliters this month. The other Elite events sounded awesome BUT I had given up alcohol. #Catholic #Lent So I felt I couldn’t attend any since alcohol seemed to be the main draw… But this event seemed to offer more than free alcohol.
I like fancy car. I like free food and entertainment. Sign me up! Pick Me! And then I got the confirmation: YOU’RE IN! (I love that email subject headline!!) Be it known I did several fist pumps.
So, after a couple of days being stoked about this event, and driving my Toyota Corolla like it was an Audi, the morning of this event I started getting nervous and downcast. «Will I have fun by myself? Will I be out of place among the rich? Am I crazy to attend such an event?» Luckily, I found a friend who was free, and who had not celebrated his birthday yet. What a great friend I was to give him food, entertainment, and free drinks all night, ¿right?! It also eased my nerves to have someone come with me.
We arrived at a decent time of 4:50pm and we were escorted to the check in line and then immediately to the first Audi A3 2015 available for a test drive! Our driver escort, Hayalle was nice but a little quiet. I asked her some questions as I played around with some of the controls. I wondered if there was an ejection button, a missile launch button, and just other stuff that would warrant a huge Launch party for this car.
Surprisingly, it was just a nice car. In fact, I was hoping for a sportier look but it gives off a non-​flashy but not boring appearance. For $ 30K, I would want more.
ANYWAYS. I drove it. I enjoyed it. And it was on to the party. What was really cool was the fact that no one pressured us. I guess they figured I had no money, so at least I didn’t get kicked out! The hors d’œuvre were plentiful that it did make a great dinner, and the bartenders were incredibly kind and efficient. Dessert was also yum!
The DJ had some great sounds and catered to a hip and youthful vibe. I felt like I was in another great OC lounge, if you know what I mean. And then the dinner entertainment was pretty much off-​the-​hook for being free and all: fire breathers, aerial dancing, and great lounge music.
Audi Mission Viejo, you sure know how to throw a party.
