Love Love Love Dr. Carter and his whole staff! Before getting my son and myself on braces and Invisalign we checked out 3 other Orthodontist. I’m so glad we met with Dr. Carter. My son now is done with braces and so am I. Dr. Carter was always so patient and carrying, making sure we were always happy. His office is very accommodating and most importantly he is extremely honest! 3 other orthodontists tried to get my son to start on braces earlier than needed, but he was the only one who said he doesn’t need to and to wait. It ultimately cost half of what others wanted to charge. Can’t say enough great things about him. I’ve referred 5 other families to him, who are also just as happy. Now about to start my youngest kid with braces. Thank you Dr. Carter for all your honesty and care!

I am really impressed by this doctor. I am able to compare because my older son and I had our braces done by someone else before Dr. Carter had his practice here. My younger son is having his braces done here, and there is no comparison. If you want quality service and affordable price, and most of all an honest guy, look no further. He is not a $$ grabber. I have had a situation where I needed repair, and although it was done by another ortho, he took care of it for far less than my previous ortho. I can’t say enough how nice this doctor is. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs braces. Completely trustworthy!

We had our first visit with Dr. Carter and his staff yesterday. Everyone was so nice and caring that my son was begging to get his braces put on! I am so comfortable knowing that my son’s care is in the hands of this office. I appreciate Dr. Carter’s approach in how everything is explained and laid out so that I can understand what will be happening each step of the way. Thanks Dr. Carter and Valerie… you guys rock!

Dr. Carter is the nicest doctor and person that I know. He did my son’s orthodontal work. He not only did a wonderful job but also great with him. He cares about his patient. And he did whatever he could to help make the parent’s job easier! I cannot ask for a better doctor than him. He is wonderful not only professionally but also personally. His staff are very friendly and helpful.
If my younger son needs braces I would definetely come back to Dr. Carter.

Took my daughter in for an exam to see if she was a candidate for braces. The place was very clean, nice, and open. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They took photos and Xrays of my daughter’s teeth and then we met with Dr. Carter. He gave us a frank and honest opinion with no pressure or cheesy sales pitches. In fact, he said she probably didn’t need braces unless we were really picky. It was at this point that I felt like I was wasting his time, but he assured me it was no problem and if we wanted to go ahead with minor adjustments (and I mean really minor), he gave us a quote and timeline and off we went. If we do decide to do it, it’ll be with his office for sure. PS, our regular dentist constantly pings us for whitening, braces, and you name it.

Before signing up for Invisalign, I checked with a few doctors and was not satisfied or interested in working with them. Then I met with Dr. Carter… wow what a difference. His entire office and he himself reflect quality, service, cleanliness and professionalism… and I’m not exaggerating. ALL businesses should be run this well. It has been a pleasure to work with Dr. Carter and everyone one of his team. Not to mention the fast and great results I’m getting with Invisalign with his help. Simply the best!!!

We did consultations with several orthodontists when it was time for my daughter to get braces and hands down Dr Carters office was the best. He makes you feel like he truly cares about his patients. My daughter felt very comfortable at his office The staff was friendly and helpful. Now it’s my sons turn for braces and we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Dr. Carter Rocked! The office was super neat and organized, the staff was always really sweet and friendly, and the doc himself couldn’t have been better. They made sure I got my invisalign program started and finished in time for my wedding day and I rocked a perfect smile the whole day! Definite A+

Wow, best Orthodontist in the world! Very personable, professional and TOP NOTCH customer service and organization in this office! He was very honest and told us what our son needed, and our daughter who is only 10, he said to wait 1 – 2 years on her, that he wouldn’t make us spend the money when her teeth weren’t ready yet. I’ve seen so many youngsters with two phases of braces and Dr. Carter didn’t want us to waste time or money unnecessarily. Very happy with this level of service, honesty and care. 5+ Stars

My dentist referred me to Dr. Carter when I expressed an interest in straightening my teeth. They were not THAT crooked to begin with, but as a single female in my early 30’s, I decided to consult with Dr. Carter. He took a lot of time answering all of my questions in a friendly, patient manner. He did not talk above me or make me feel rushed, like I find many physicians in Orange County have a tendency to do. His prices were reasonable and the year + Dr. Carter took care of me, more than paid for itself. He is extremely caring, trustworthy, hard-​worthy, and honest. Someday when I have a family, I will trust only Dr. Carter with their Orthodontic care.

I would give this office a 6^th star if I could. Very professional and helpful staff. I was unsure about using Invisalign and after using them for several weeks now I couldn’t be more pleased. Dr Carter and his staff make going to the dental office fun and comfortable. I refuse to go anywhere else. Will not find a better office staff and Dr to work with.

love love dr carter! he caught my son’s bite that was chipping away his front tooth and decided to band him and change the bite right away before my son caused anymore damage to his permanant tooth. he was only ⁷¹⁄₂ then and i urge everyone to have a consult early… it can’t hurt!

My daughter just had her braces with Dr Carter and it was refreshing to have such a good experience at a dental office. They run on time, we’re extremely accommodating to our busy schedule and genuinely cared about her result. Very pleased and will be back with my other daughter.

At South OC Dental I have received the best care from Dr. Carter and his staff. I was told by another orthodontist that Invisalign was not an option, and being at the age of 20 the last thing I wanted was to go through the 12 – 18 month painful process and embarrassment of metal braces. When I went to my appointment at South OC Dental the office was warm and welcoming and the staff was very inviting. During my appointment I told Dr. Carter about the other orthodontist I had gone to and after a quick examination he told me that Invisalign was very much an option and quoted me $ 1,500 less than the orthodontist who wanted to give me metal braces. After 6 – 8 months my teeth are straight and no one even noticed that I had braces.

Dr. Carter is a professional, conservative, caring orthodontist. He was so informative about my children’s treatment and his staff was always friendly and helpful. His office is in a great location and it’s always clean! I would recommend Dr. Carter to all my friends and family.
