Motel 6 Moab

Don’t stay here Jennifer the GM is beyond a liar. Had reservations 2 weeks in advance. We had late arrival for hotel. Called 2 days ahead to make sure everything was correct they said yes. Got in from SLC and drove all the way to Moab. at check in was told we gave ur room away! I asked what do you mean? Had to beg to get help to find another hotel 2 ½ hours later got one.
Called them next am manager not there
So called Motel 6 costumer service number.
Not one call back either way.
After all that 3 weeks later called again got Jennifer the GM
Not one apology not one how can we it better ect
She did in fact admit she did not have my right number to reach me who the heck knows who’s number it was & totally wrong credit card number
For real. At the most Jennifer you could have paid the difference of hotel cost. We had to pay in ur hotels fault…

Uggh, I’ve stayed at many a Motel 6 and the only thing this has going on is that it is new. And for being so new, horrible design and layout. For starters, it has all the inconvenience of a hotel but NONE of the amenities, not even a single chair or place to sit, nor a bathroom, nor a lobby or any sort. Just a desk. No direct access, or easy access to any rooms, up the stairs, or use the one single elevator. No coffee pot, just two bars of soap. And good luck finding plugs to charge your things.
I checked in at 3 pm but was told my room wasn’t ready. Nowhere to wait, I asked for the restroom, I was allowed to use the staff bathroom while i waited. When I questioned about why the room wasn’t ready he said at 3pm or later. No sorry, that’s not how posted checkin times work. In a new hotel, I don’t expect to be digging around trying to find plugs for chargers etc. Be sure you find out where the elevator and ice machine are when you get your room. They are not separated from any of the rooms, just smack in the middle of the hall.
The room was HUGE, as if it was missing furniture. While some guests didn’t like the pet-​friendly nature (most motel 6 are pet friendly) I was looking for it. However, it must be the only pet-​friendly spot in all of Moab as there were millions of dogs everywhere. And for a pet-​friendly place, the lack of space to walk your dog was very annoying, particularly with all the dogs waiting to use those few spots. I would never stay here again.

The wood floor was great and the room was good. Although, they don’t provide shampoo and conditioner, so we had to go buy some.

Beware! Pet-​friendly! I never would have stayed here if I knew this, I had to get a room last minute. The service is really good, she put me on the 3^rd floor where pets aren’t usually put. On the first floor I heard dogs barking. The room is very clean, all hardwood floors, small room, only gave soap, no other toiletries, no complimentary breakfast, no coffee maker, cable tv, no toilet lid. The hotel entryway has hot water, coffee, and a microwave. There is a pool, spa, and laundry machines. The spa had weird small holes on the bench part for bubbles but there were no jets, very odd, mildly hot. I understand it’s a 2 star but I paid $ 94 for it on a weekday; therefore, I expected more, especially compared to the other hotels on my trip. I will stay somewhere else in Moab next time.

My husband and I recently booked a room for one night at this Motel 6. We were driving from Denver and got sidetracked in a blizzard. We were unable to even get to Grand Junction. After 6 phone calls between the front desk clerk and representatives from
we could not get a manager to speak with us about a refund. Apparently she was «off» and continued to be «off work» the next three days… conveniently.
Luckily we booked using our USAA military credit card and they ordered the motel to refund our money on a room never utilized.
I will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone.

Probably the nicest Motel 6 I’ve stayed in. Good location. Nice room. Friendly staff. Not the Ritz but super cheap and a great value!

People that complain about this place have likely not stayed at in enough cheap places yet. This place is cheap and remodeled. Staff is rough, there is some noise but overall it cannot be beat for value. For pet friendly place it is surprisingly clean. Places in that price range are super rough, but not this one. I used to stay in Apache inn when in town, no longer.

The hotel was cheap and easy to get to. It was also pet friendly. But we spent 2 days here and while out and about the first day, all of our bags that we left in the hotel were gone through by the maids. They stole all of our fruit and our vitamins. They also went through all of our things, obviously looking for other things to steal, luckily we didn’t leave any real valuables for them to take. It didn’t ruin our vacation, but it sucks that you can be robbed at a place where you’re supposed to be safe. We notified the front desk and they didn’t even act like they cared and weren’t helpful in the least. We’ll never stay in this hole again.

Nice stay. Friendly staff, no nickel & diming. Clean, bright rooms. Hot tub is good.

So nice! Brand newly renovated rooms and it was probably the closest hotel to the actual park. The downtown area gets congested quickly so this was nice and convenient on the north side of town.

Cheap, friendly front desk staff, room was fully renovated (paint, floor, bathroom, etc), spacious room and bathtub.
We could hear the vending machine in the hallway (since we stayed next to it, the front desk did warn me so it didn’t bother our sleep) Pets are welcome, some barks a lot and will bother you even if you love dogs like us.
Negative: Horrible Wi-​Fi. It was on a TUESDAY night too.
Overall, we would definitely check in here again.

Cross country w/​Cats– Day 10 Rifle CO to Moab UT
This M6 is one of the updates New M6s with laminate flooring which is the bomb for pets but limits pets to one per room. One of ours had to stay in the car. Not convenient but doable.
It is very conveniently located near Arches and has a hot tub and a decent pool.
Coffee is excretable but free.
Beacause I read so many hotel reviews, let me get this off my chest — BARGAIN BASEMENT HOTELS DO NOT PROVIDE TOILETRIES OR BREAKFAST! NONE. are we clear? In my (quite extensive) experience, you should not expect these in American hotels under $ 80/​night.
Nor should you expect pillow top beds or nice towels!!! You dont get those at cheap hotels. That’s why they are CHEAP.

Ein eher ungewöhnliches Motel 6, da wie in Hotel aufgebaut und bisher so noch nicht gekannt. Ansonsten alles vorhanden, Eismaschine, renoviert und Morgens Kaffeebuffet, was auch deutlich besser gelöst wurde als in anderen Motel 6.
Leider ziemlich hellhörig und an der Straße gelegen, kommt auf den Preis pro Nacht an, bei uns war es im Gesamtpreis unserer Reise enthalten, deshalb ist meine Wertung ohne Bedacht auf Preis-​Leistungsverhältnis.
Da es nichts weiter zu bemängeln gab von meiner Seite, eine klare Empfehlung!

Stayed here for 1 night during the offseason. The place was incredibly cheap. I was kind of scared about the place because it was so cheap. To my surprise, the hotel had recently been remodeled and was actually very nice inside. The room was somewhat on the small side, but it was very modern, clean, and well kept.
The room had a fake hardwood floor in it rather than carpet, which I actually think is a genius move by the owners. With all the outdoor activities in Moab, it is a lot easier to keep fake hardwood clean than it is to vacuum red dirt out of carpet.
The bed was comfortable and the linens were actually much higher quality than I expected from a motel 6. This is in fact probably the nicest motel 6 that I’ve ever stayed at. I would say this place is equivalent in quality to a lot of Holiday Inn Express places that I have stayed.
Parking was ample and the front desk staff were very friendly and talkative. I really can’t find a single negative thing to say about my stay. Just keep in mind that this is a motel 6 and not a 4 star resort. To me this was one of the best hotel bargains I’ve ever experienced in all my travel. I feel that I actually got more than what I paid for. Would stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Moab on a budget.

As a dog-​friendly hotel, I was a bit skeptical about the cleanliness of the rooms and the smell, but I was pleasntly surprised that I would have never known it was a hotel that allowed pets. I have also always been wary of a Motel 6, but at $ 40 a night this was too good a deal to pass up. Granted it was the off season, but still. That low of a price for two beds in Moab with a nice large tv screen with a lot of channels and a hot tub to relax in after a long day of hiking was fantastic. And the staff was super nice and accommodating too. Jen at the desk was very helpful and friendly. I will look into getting a room here again when I’m in Moab in the future.

Cheap. Great for dogs. Clean. Comfortable. Loved the hot tub and location. Near everything in Moab. Why stay anywhere else if money or pets are at play?!

It’s pretty ok. Clean room and spacious.
We booked a king bed room but got a two queen beds. No breakfast but 24 hour coffee in the lobby.

This is a motel 6, but it has either been remodeled recently or it’s just a newer motel 6. It’s definitely not that bad, with laminate wood floor and newly decorated rooms. Not sure why people are giving this place such bad reviews…
I did not have any issues booking the motel or any issues during my stay. Everything was clean and as expected. You shouldn’t be expecting a resort if you’re going to Moab AND staying at a Motel 6. Come on, ya’ll.

Von einem Hotel dieser Art — eher untere Preiskategorie, einfach, «no-​frills» — kann man nicht viel erwarten.
Einrichtung ist einfach und funktional, Zimmer und Bad waren sauber, Steckdosen in ausreichender Anzahl für die mitgereiste Elektronik vorhanden.
Prinzipiell also im Rahmen der Erwartungshaltung soweit okay. Deshalb zwei Sterne für diese Leistung.
Aber trotzdem würde ich hier nicht wieder übernachten, denn das Hotel ist sehr laut. Nicht von der daneben liegenden Straße her, sondern im Gebäude. Die Zimmer sind hellhörig, man hört die Nachbarn von links, rechts und oben drüber. Wann immer Wasser läuft macht dies einen Riesen Lärm.
Die Nachtruhe ist also stark beeinträchtigt!
Weiterhin war das Personal beim Check-​in freundlich beschrieben «effizient». Ich erwarte ja nicht viel, aber ein «Hi» und ein wenig Info wo das Zimmer und der Aufzug sind kann man schon erwarten. Hier war die Begrüßung «ID, Credit Card». Kein «please», kein «thank you». Als der Pass nach 10 Sekunden noch nicht überreicht wurde, kam gleich nochmal «ID?».
Mag kleinlich klingen, dass mich das stört, aber ich finde selbst in einem Budget Hotel kann man ein Mindestmaß an Umgangsformen erwarten!

I’m exhausted and fell asleep at 9pm. I woke up to a jetliner flying through my room which turned out to be the water anytime anyone used their shower upstairs or down. Laying awake listening to other rooms flush their toilets. Glaring spotlights coming in the windows. When I turn the shower on water sprays out the side of the tub faucet. Shower drain clogged stand in three inches of water. Anyone walking in the building sounds like a herd of cattle are passing by.

We booked this one as it was one of the only places that wasn’t completely booked well ahead of time in Moab.
Can’t expect too much from a Motel 6, we were driving over from Zion. They held our room for us despite us showing up a little late and having some CC issues. The check-​in clerks were very friendly and helpful in making restaurant recommendations in Moab.
Our room was pretty clean, but the beds felt more like fulls than queens. No big deal. They do not serve breakfast, but do have free coffee. Arches is very closeby as are many restaurants further down on Main street.
Prices are kinda high for what it is. At least they do have a pool & hot tub to help relax after lots of hiking in the nearby National Parks.

Got a room here for the night on a road trip around the four corners region last summer. We picked this motel because we thought it would be cheap, but it was roughly $ 90 for 1 bed.
Though the building looked new from the outside, when we arrived at the front desk a woman complained about a non-​functioning A/​C. We were a bit worried when we were told of A/​C outages throughout the building. We ultimately decided on booking a room and had no problem with the cooling system.
We were booked in a handicap-​accessible room for some reason. We didn’t complain about that, but I do wonder how such a handicap person would plug in their laptop or a cell phone when there’s a lack of wall outlets. Seriously, just 2 wall outlets in the bedroom space.
The service was okay and the bed was comfortable. That’s about it. We likely wouldn’t stay here again because it’s too far out of the city and not much nearby.
