I Do Wedding Cakes

I have used this Bakery several times, so when it came to our wedding day, we decided to come here. They had always been good, but for our wedding day, they exceeded all of my (very high) expectations. The cake was very fresh, along with the fruit. All of our guests LOVED our cake. My only regret is that I did not save enough room for more cake! Debbie was extremely nice and very helpful. I can’t wait to use them again!

We were married at Eagle Ridge and I Do wedding cakes were apart of our package but either way I would have went through them. They baked my sister’s wedding cake which looked and tasted amazing and so did ours! Best tasting cake out of the 5 weddings I went to in 2015

I Do Wedding Cakes is THE BEST! My wedding cake came out EXACTLY as I imagined and it was SO GOOD! I had a 3 tier cake: bottom layer was white cake with the picasso filling (THE BEST FILLING if you like bananas) the middle layer was white cake with lemon filling, and the top layer was a chocolate cake with picasso filling. My cake was gorgeous, tasty and perfect. Debbie took care of everything and made sure my cake was something I never had to think or worry about before my wedding. The price of my cake was included in my Wedgewood Wedding package at Eagle Ridge, but I paid a little extra to have fondant on the cake. I definitely recommend!

My husband and I got married at Rancho Canada in Carmel (Wedgewood). We are from the East Bay, so we weren’t familiar with any bakeries in the area. Wedgewood recommended ‘I Do Wedding Cakes’ and boy are we glad they did. Our tasting appointment with Debbie was great. My parents joined us for the tasting, where we got to try several different types of cakes. Every single flavor was moist and delicious, and we simply couldn’t decide on just one. So we chose 4, one for each layer haha. As for the design, I showed Debbie a simple scroll design and wording that we saw online.
The day of the wedding, I was thrilled when I saw our cake. It was simple and beautiful, just how I hoped. All 4 flavors were incredible. The top layer (we took it with us on our honeymoon and shared with our parents) was lemon cake with lemon filling, and it was amazing! The other layers that were actually served at the wedding were vanilla cake with strawberries and cream filling, chocolate cake with raspberry filling (an all time fav of mine!), and vanilla cake with Debbie’s special Picasso filling (which is to die for!). All of our guests were impressed with how good the cake tasted. The lemon cake was still moist and fresh tasting after a few days in the fridge! We are so glad we went with I Do, and we are looking forward to having them make cakes for us for future special occasions.

This was one of our favorite parts of wedding planning/​our wedding day. The cake could not have turned out more perfect – it exceeded my expectations and I cannot thank Debbie and I Do Wedding Cakes enough!!! I definitely would make the drive back there to use them in the future!!!

Freaking awesome cake. It was delivered on time and exactly how I wanted it. It matched with my Halloween wedding décor.

Debbie was absolutely a delight to work with. She was recommended by our reception venue at Carmel Rancho Canada. I had so many ideas and she was able to accommodate us. She even made some of my ideas before we did a cake tasting, that meant so much to me. Clearly she takes so much pride in making peoples events everything they hope it to be.
One of my ideas was to have our wedding favors to be Aussie inspired desserts as the groom as an Aussie. We did a Tim Tam cupcake, which was a delightful chocolate cake with a tim tam baked into it, chocolate icing and a tim tam on top. Cupcake #2 was a Vanilla Slice inspired delight. It was a vanilla cupcake, with a custard filling and a sugary fondant icing. Cupcake # 3 was a Neopolitan, layered with Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla with Strawberry frosting. Cupcake #4 was an Espresso Martini, made with espresso cake, vodka, and chocolate.
Our wedding cake had an «American» inspired layer which was a spice cake, with Apple Pie filling and layered with caramel as well as a Chocolate Raspberry ganache layer.
She delivered and set up our cake and cupcakes beautifully. It was wonderful! Morgan Hill is a couple hours from me, but I will happily use her for any future events!!!

Debbie made our Wedding Cake and it was absolutley stunning! We got so many compliments on it, everyone loved it! We are so happy that we found her and her team to help make our big day so special! Thank You!!!

We were recommended to this vendor by the Eagle Ridge. Our cakes were included in the package that we got! The stuff was very friendly and accommodating. We got exactly what we wanted. We got to taste the cake prior ordering, and they were all very yummy!
On the day of the wedding we brought our own flowers and the stuff decorated the cake with them beautifully. It was gorgeous.

Debbie was so helpful when we came in to order our cake. The flavors that we choose were loved amongst our guests. The design of our cake was simple yet practical (soft icing so it is edible)

This is solely based off of the tasting… My fiancé and I went in for a consultation and tasting. We had requested several flavors before going in. When we get there we had a lot of flavors to choose from (and a lot of cake to eat). We started going flavor by flavor but before we knew it, we had eaten all the cake (and there was a lot!).
By the time that we had discussed the design of our cake and we were on to choosing the flavors, we had no idea which to choose. They were all amazing! I can’t wait for our design to come to life with the flavors we chose! I’ll update with pictures after the big day!

These wedding cakes are the best! We met Debbie at her store and she had cakes for us to taste which were immaculate! Very moist, excellent tasting cubes of awesome! We wanted a Tiffany & Co. inspired design and she just drew something up with what little ideas we had and the end result turned out beautiful! My wife almost didn’t want to cut the cake! The flavors we chose were Orange chocolate truffle and Vanilla Picasso with fresh strawberries and bananas. Like I said, Awesome!
We live in SoCal and her store is in Morgan Hill, but she does make rounds at certain bridal showers up north. When we would take trips up to the Monterey area for the year of planning we did before the wedding, she would accommodate us and our schedule and make sure the taste and design were what we wanted. Debbie has a passion for what she does and she really takes care of her customers!

We highly recommend saying your «I do-​s» to I Do Wedding Cakes! Debbie did an amazing job with our beautiful 3-​tier wedding cake! The cake was exactly what we hoped for and it turned out so pretty that I almost didn’t want to cut Debbie’s beautiful piece of art! Since we figured our wedding day will be hot, we decided to go with something refreshing and citrusy — a lemon cake. It was an amazing combination of sweet and tart. Many of our guests came to compliment us on the cake and surprisingly, we got quite a few comments on how they usually don’t like lemon cakes but our wedding cake was out of the world. So true! We’re so glad that we still have left over :)
We worked with Debbie and Elisha throughout the planning process. They were both so accommodating, flexible and really caring. We can’t thank them enough for making this process stress-​free. They are so sweet like their amazing cake! Highly recommended.

Excellent experience! I gave Debbie an idea for my son’s first birthday cake and they executed to perfection! The cake was amazing and so delicious.

This bakery never disappoints! I was already over budget with my baby shower, but really wanted an airplane theme cake. They worked with me and although I did not get a 3d design the 2d looked so cute!!! All our guests said it was too pretty to cut! But when we did gather up the nerve, we were so grateful cause it was sooo delicious! thank you Debbie!

My family threw me a surprise party, and the birthday cake was a special request/​recipe that I grew up loving,. I Do cakes make it perfectly! Tasted great, moist, and looked amazing.
One issue… their cakes do not have «spell check»!! My cake said «Surrise» instead of «Surprise». The cake was not inspected close enough when it was picked up, and it made for quite a few laughs, but we were all surrised at the mistake, it was pretty obvious! BUT, the cake was consumed too quickly to care about the misspelling.
Will order again!

LOVED our wedding cake! Debbie was such a pleasure to work with. She was super accommodating and even gave helpful suggestions on how to mesh my taste with my husbands. We ended up with a gorgeous cake that was SUPER delicious! We picked red velvet, chocolate and lemon cakes. We had a 3 tier which was WAY too much cake for 100 people, but it was so tasty! Debbie even delivered and set up our cake which was super amazing to not have to worry about giving that duty to someone in the wedding party.
I would recommend getting cake for just the amount of guests you have maybe even less because not everyone eats cake and a LOT of our cake went to waste. We got extra thinking people would be all about the cake, but people now and days are so health cautious! BORING! lol go with I do wedding cakes! Definitely affordable and super tasty!

We had a great experience with Debbie. She had a great selection for us during the tasting and prepared a second set of samples with different flavors to help us decide what we wanted. We got a 3 tier with poppy seed/​lemon jam (AMAZING!!!), vanilla mocha, lemon/​raspberry mouse.
She was great to communicate with, the cake was nicely displayed when we got to the hall and tasted amazing!

I have nothing but positive things to say about this cake company. Let me list in detail what I loved about this company and service.
1. I ordered the cake a month prior to the event and it was hassle free, simple, convenient and greatly priced.
2. I got creative: asked for a CrossFit cake for my boyfriends b-​day. They made sure to clarify details and size with me when I ordered.
3. I had my mom pick up the cake. I called to confirm pick up and they were on it! Had the cake sealed and ready to go upon arrival. As I asked.
4. The taste: holy, best cake I’ve ever had. Moist, rich in flavor, delicious and creative
5. Exceeded my expectations! They seriously took my ideas and made the cake perfect.
6. We went home with extra cake and full tummies .
7. I will be having this company do my wedding cake next July!
