Jen Grafe Dog Walking Services

My sister moved in to my house and found Jen to walk her dogs. I added my dog into the mix. My sweet girl Kona usually will not go out of my house let alone off of my street with other people. Jen surprised me and got Kona out of my house and off of my street. Kona actually went on a walk. I am so happy and thrilled with the service, that I am continuing the dog walks after my sister leaves next week. Jen is very kind and gentle with the dogs. I could not ask for anyone better!!!

Jen has been walking our dog Dodger daily for 2 months now. We were happy to find a dog walker comfortable walking bigger dogs, as ours is an enthusiastic and energetic 60lbs pitbull mix. Dodger now enjoys a regular pee break and mid-​day exercise, in addition to daily socialization with her dogs during his walks.
We love that she and Katie, her part-​time walker, leave a note after each walk, letting us know what time they walked and how it went. We also receive pictures of our happy pup on his walks now and then, which is a nice pick-​me-​up at work.
Jen is very professional. We had an initial meeting where she came over to meet our dog and discuss what services we wanted. She carries insurance for her business and making payments is very convenient, as she accepts online transfers. She is easily reachable via email or text, and very flexible with scheduling. She provides advance notice on days she is not available, which is helpful for planning.

Jen walked and watched our dog for almost two years. She was a terrific dog walker and dog-​care giver. She was on time, responsive to emails and special requests, worked with our schedule and, most importantly was great with our dog. I knew that our dog would be well taken care of when being watched by Jen. In emergencies, Jen was also able to walk our dog on short notice, on more than one occasion. We only stopped using Jen because we were moving out of town, but I would try and use her services right away if I move back to the area. I hope to find a dog walker who is as reliable and loved by my dog in my new place, as we had with Jen.

When we moved into our condo two years ago (2011), the dogs (an alpha American Eskimo and her larger mixed-​breed daughter) were a little too noisy for the neighbors while we were at work. The solution — mid day-​dog walks which would give them bathroom relief and burn off some energy. Enter Jen. Although my older dog is VERY wary of strangers, Jen persevered and won both dogs’ trust. Four star service!
What got Jen the fifth star was last December when we had a family emergency between Xmas and New Years that we had to travel for. Boarding places were ALL full, even our regular place. Jen doesn’t board dogs, but because we had our backs to the wall she took our two dogs for a few days so we could sort our family situation out. That’s a level of dedication and service you can’t buy. I’ll be a reference for her any time.

Jen is great with my 2 Labradors! They each weigh about as much as her, but she manages to wrangle them both like a good cowgirl!
She is definately a dog person, and trustworthy.
Jen is the Standard for all other dog walkers to live up to!

Jen has been my dog walker for over a year now. I am very grateful to have found her for my terrier’s daily walks. We got our little guy when one of us was not working. When we both started working 4 months later we were concerned about leaving him during the day. He was use to attention, going to the bathroom and for a walk during the day. I did not know Jen prior to contacting her about her service. Right when I met her I saw her warm personality towards my dog! Now Jen comes by daily to visit him, take him for a healthy walk, and play with him. My dog is definitely very protective of his home, so I know this is probably a challenge for anyone to come by, even if does know you. I believe Jen is very scheduled and consistent with my dog. I know he gets walks in, he gets the treats I leave, and gets his feet wiped. Jen has given some good suggestions along the way. I love the fact that she is environmentally conscience too. Other great things about her is that she is flexible, has good rates, is not afraid to clean up barf, and she has coverage if for some reason she is not available (which is hardly ever). I think she is great part of my dog’s life and definitely recommend her.

My dog and I just moved here from Philadelphia and I knew I would need a dog walker right away. After making many phone calls and getting frustrated by people not calling back and trying to charge ridiculous rates (more then double what I paid back east!) I finally found Jen on Craigslist and called. She called me back right away and was able to come meet me and Billy that night when I got off work. Billy (who can be a little suspicious of people) warmed right up to her and plopped his 95lb. furry self right into her lap! After calling the references she provided for me and hearing nothing but praise I hired her the next day and she was able to start immediately! Ever since working for me she has been flexible and even able to accomadate some last second needs. Her prices are incredibly reasonable compared to others in the area. I highly reccomend Jen to take care of your furry family member!
