Paul R Yetter, DDS

I have moved quite a bit, so I’ve had the opportunity to experience about 10 dentists in my lifetime. Dr. Yetter is by far, the best in the west. The office has a warm, cozy ambience. The intricate details of my dental needs that Dr. Yetter and team members presented during my initial consultation was of the highest standard. Genetically born with terrible gums, I need scaling done twice a year. My first gum scaling experience with Dr Yetter was s-​u-​p-​e-​r-​i-​o-​r. Dr Yetter was generous with the numbing medication. There was no unnecessary scaling of areas that were not needed which made for the aftermath of the cleaning to be far less painful than in the past. Precision scaling with xrays displayed during the scaling was comforting and I knew each area was being handled unique to that need. I was motivated by this, and it has elevated my priority to keep my gums cleaner and since this last visit, I have been flossing three times daily. Looking forward to my next scaling (Can’t believe I am saying this). Thanks Dr Yetter!!!

Almost 5 years later, I’m still seeing Dr. Paul and can only say positive things about Dr. Yetter and his great team. I suspect that Dr. Paul is a long-​term relationship kind of practice… the same staff have been there for several years, and they do a great job of keeping-​up with when I need (and don’t need) x-​rays, cleanings, etc.

I have had many good and bad dentists over the last 6 decades but Dr. Paul Yetter and staff are about as good as it gets. They raised the bar so high I’m not sure I will ever be satisfied with any one else. We are retiring and moving to Idaho soon but will probably coordinate with him to get our regular check ups when we are in town visiting family. After about 10 years as a patient Paul has become more a friend than our dentist. He has a tremendous acumen and passion for dentistry and a keen interest in the lastest dental technology. With a small office the experience is always very personal and as others have pointed out he does have a tendency to sing a little when he hears one of his favorite tunes being played, but always in good taste and only if the patient is OK with it. Paul is also very flexible and accommodating. I am one of those rare individuals that doesn’t require anesthetic for any dental procedure (not even removing wisdom teeth) so Dr. Yetter respects that. I might mention here that because I don’t use anesthetic I am keenly aware of a dentist’s skillfull and gentle, or no so gentle, touch and Dr. Yetter is the best I’ve yet to encounter. In fact, he is so smooth and gentle while drilling and shaping that many people would probably be able to have some procedures done without anesthesia.
Well, I could go on and on but one last point… Someone mentioned Lynn, the office manager, in another review. Unfortunately, due to serious illness she had to retire. However, she was fantastic! Probably the best I have ever encountered for dealing with insurance companies. This is not to say that her replacement is less capable. I only mention it in tribute to our fond memory of her. She was great!

Outstanding service, very professional, very knowledge and makes your visits enjoyable.

This is a very small dental office, only two chairs, but Dr. Yetter makes it worth while.
His office manager Lynn is so sweet and accommodating and they never hound you for additional services.
At every appointment, I am offered a blanket and even movie glasses. Services are very moderately priced and most insurance plans are accepted. Nitrous is available upon request (for a small fee). They are also able to make crowns in the office (as long as there is some remaining tooth structure), which saves so much time and hassle.
Dr. Yetter is very personable and remembers his patients. And he even serenades you while you are getting your teeth worked on. I am not kidding, he actually sings along with the «Soft Rock» radio station. It’s hilarious and entertaining at the same time.
