New York Diner

My favorite place for breakfast when I’m at the beach. New York Diner delivers every time, but I do order the same thing when I go there. Take that into consideration. I know they serve lunch also, but I’ve never eaten lunch there. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
I ordered one egg over easy, corned beef hash and grits. So many people don’t like grits but you have to know how to fix them up southern style. Add butter and lots of sugar into the grits and they are delicious. However, don’t do this if you have shrimp and grits.
My egg was beautiful and I wished I had gotten two. Mike got poached eggs and wished they had been a little runnier. I love their corned beef hash.
If you’re in the area, stop by. I am definitely coming back.

I’m giving this two stars right off the bat due to the friendliness of the wait staff. I can’t say that they are friendly at all I can say that it seems like they don’t want the business or that you’re bothering them. I’m asked to try a sample of their chicken salad and the waitress actually had to say that she had to go back and ask if you can give a sample taste.
I ordered an omelette and the actually charged an extra $ 1.25 for cheese and $ 0.35 for rye toast. Manama didn’t even say it all that good.
I have come in here a few times by myself Android buddies of mine and I’ve always had this kind of service and for some reason. The owner sits at a certain table and does not get up to help even if help is needed. If there is a complaint you still just sit at that table does not get up.
As I said before this is the last time that I will come into this restaurant until other people break this a lot higher than I did and when I mean a lot higher I think it needs some 5 stars before I even think about coming back in.
