Advanced Car Stereo

I can’t go into enough detail with how great my experience was. I went to three separate places getting quotes and information. I not only wanted a dvd system in the back of my truck for my kids, but I wanted the best security money could buy.
Advanced Car Stereo was more than a step above the rest, their prices were FAR under the competition. Chantelle (and I’m sorry if I’ve mis-​spelled your name) was amazing. Knowledgeable, sweet and made me and my family feel like appreciated customers. Labor was cheaper than the other local places, and she made sure my entire system was done in an extremely timely manner. I had the entire headset system, with wireless headphones and a top of the line viper alarm system, they also installed the system that I can control the whole car from my phone or apple watch.
When I’m ready for more business this is where I will go. Between the customer service and the price, I couldn’t ask for a better local company.

They hooked me up with a great system and the work was super clean. The ladies who runs the place are also very pleasant to deal with.

Great store. They installed a blue tooth stereo with microphone in my son’s car. It took under an hour and the price was great. The installation was professional — everything fit properly, worked properly and looked good. I would come back or recommend this place to a friend.

I have taken a total of four vehicles to these guys for stereo/​navigation systems. This last car was older and quirky but these guys figured it out and as always did a first class job for me. Their services and customer service are excellent. First rate!

Ive been coming here for 5 years. Everytime i come everyone shows love and take care of me. Almost feel like everyone in the shop is part of your family. Sergio is the best there is and ive ever known. I can call him about anything and he’ll take care of you right away! Before you check out any audio shop make sure you come here first. I shopped around and havent found anyone as good as Advance Car Stereo. If i can ill give them 10 stars!

On the fly, I decided I wanted an alarm system in my car. Stopped by here on a Sunday and talked to the guys. With no hesitation, they fully explained all details of each alarm system. Because of their professional manner, I decided to have them replace my power antenna, and install a new Pioneer head unit. Price was MORE than fair, and I was given a time of 3 hours. I called, exactly 3 hours later and my car was done. Larry came out and went over all the operation controls for the radio ie. the clock, and different setting. Work was done clean, and nothing was out of place. I am giving 5 stars simply because they earned it. I will be going back for speakers and an amp soon. I have installed head units, speakers and amps for more than 20 years. these guys killed it.
Oh, and BTW I have read all the negative reviews… maybe people shouldn’t walk around with such bad attitudes all the time… you get what you give. Every single person there was cool as hell, I even got a ride back to work while they did my install. And never ONCE did anyone try to BS me into anything I «didn’t need or want», that’s garbage, Rhetorical BS. Hell, I was even given a free remote for my radio cause I bought the Display Pioneer. My dad came here to install a car stereo on his Hummer which has worked wonderfully, although this was a while ago he still forgets sometimes how to work it, he comes back, just like today and the guy that sold and installed it for him, comes out to the car and helps him out!
My dad is more then happy with his stereo and he seems to get along with the guy very well! Thank you for your great customer experience and for making my dad happy!

Bought a new stereo and the girl at the counter helped me understand how to install it, and when I couldn’t figure my problem out, I took it in and they fixed it within an hour for only 50 bucks! Coming back later for some speaker issues

SUMMARY:
I couldn’t recommend this shop any more strongly. I brought my vehicle to them for a complex job which over 50 shops had told me was impossible (1 shop said they could do it, but that I would lose a lot of the features I wanted to keep and it would cost $ 3,000+), and even though we hit a few speed bumps in the process the finished product is AMAZING.
Other notes:
* Able to do what 50+ other shops told me was impossible!
* Maybe the most knowledgeable personnel I’ve ever encountered
* EXTREMELY friendly and awesome staff
* Large shop with tons of inventory, though limited on powered-​on displays
* If you need a complex job, make sure you give them time to do it. The end result is extremely high quality — but quality and detail takes time, too!
DETAIL:
I bought a 2015 Honda Crosstour EX-​L in March of this year. The car has a weird but very cool dual-​screen setup, with cameras displaying on top and the stereo in the middle of the dash. I was worried that my preferred stereo equipment would not work in the car because of the dual screens (not to mention it uses a CAM BUS and integrates a lot of crucial features into the stereo), but when I called 4 car audio shops near where I lived at the time, three told me they could «definitely» do the work.
So I bought the car … annnnnnnnnnd of course, all 3 shops then told me it could not be done!!!
After pouting for a couple of weeks, I got to work calling every car audio shop in SoCal, trying to find someone who could do it. After about 50 phone calls, I spoke with JT at Advanced Car Stereo. JT not only told me it could be done — he said that they had done it several times, and provided me with enough detail that I believed him.
It was an expensive job which entailed about a day and a half of work — but at this point I was excited to find someone who could do it, and had no qualms with the $ 1500ish price tag (which included a small 5 channel amp and an 8″ kicker sub to replace the weak factory one).
From the beginning, JT stressed that he needed time with the car, but I pushed him to get it done faster since I lived far away and was going to have to rent a car. The job was completed on schedule at the end of the fourth day, but there was a laundry list of problems having to do with lost functionality, appearance of the fiberglassed kit and so forth.
I scheduled an appointment to come back in a week later, but asked for same-​day service and then I got stuck in traffic and arrived late. Still, they were able to fix a few of the simpler problems — but didn’t have enough time to handle the complex ones. So we set a third appointment for a future date when their lead installer had returned from surgery, and when I had time to leave the vehicle for a few extra days.
Now you might think I was unhappy at this point, but I really wasn’t. It’s true that the job was far from perfect — but the system DID work, which everybody else said was impossible, and the staff were extremely friendly and trying very hard to correct the issue. In all honesty, I think they were more concerned with the issues than I was. I kind of went into this expecting it not to be perfect, all things considered — but they are perfectionists, and didn’t like the idea that it wasn’t.
Anyway, I returned for my third appointment this week. As had been the case before, they stressed that they wanted some extra time with the car. We agreed on four full days (with a fifth half day if necessary).
As the car was nearing completion, the installer (James) texted me photos and kept me updated on when it would be completed. And when I got to the shop to pick up the car, my jaw pretty much dropped.
It was a night and day difference. Even though, as mentioned above, I was willing to accept the install as it was (I just wanted the bugs worked out) they did a complete tear-​down and reinstall, and this was absolutely amazing. The install literally looks completely factory, with every feature now working perfectly, and the stereo tuning had been improved, giving the car a richer and more vibrant sound.
Even though it took a while to get it done, the finished result far, FAR exceeded my expectations. It’s hands-​down the nicest, cleanest install job I’ve had in any vehicle I’ve owned (and I’ve owned a lot) — and that for a job which everyone else said was impossible.
(BTW. in case you’re wondering, the only additional expense incurred after the initial installation was just a few tips — and honestly I wish I’d had enough cash to tip James more than I did at the final pickup, because he did such an amazing job!)
Anyway, bottom line: these guys are truly the best, with two different installers who were both able to pull off an ‘impossible’ job, and they have an absolute commitment to perfection which commands respect — and our business!

I called yesterday to ask questions about replacing my car stereo. Mark is the owner and was so nice on the phone. He was so helpful and called me be back immediately when he was checking what my car needed. When I arrived Shantill was also incredibly helpful. So, so nice! I highly recommend Advanced Stereo. You won’t find better customer service and they have great prices!

Everyone I met at Advanced Car Stereo seemed to know their stuff. If they were unsure, they found the answer by asking someone else at the store. Their service, pricing, and follow through was great. I highly recommend them and I know I will be back.

New Polaris Slingshot. From the first moment we walked in the door, customer service was first rate. With the Slingshot new to the market, they hadn’t had the opportunity to put a stereo/​navigation system in one yet. They worked with us to get the parts to enclose the stereo from the open engine compartment. Finding a place to put the speakers was also challenging due to the tight quarters.
From helping us decide what would best fit our needs and not just what they wanted to sell; we were able to get the best system for us. No high pressure sales or making you feel like you should be getting the high-​end stuff you don’t want.
When it came time for the installation process, they kept us in the loop on the progress. When we hit a snag with our helmets connecting to the stereo, they were more than happy to help us find a solution. The back-​up camera they installed is amazing. It even has lights on it to light up the back at night.
We couldn’t be happier with our choice in selecting this business. GREAT SERVICE, PROFESSIONAL and very FRIENDLY.
Thanks to the whole team that worked on our Slingshot. We’ll think of you as we’re rocking out driving down the road.

Horrible, DO NOT COME HERE! I saw an add for a nice pioneer in dash, touch screen stereo that was suppose to come with a back up camera for free all for the price of $ 399, when I got there right off the bat the people were extremely rude, prices automatically went up and their $ 399 deal turned into about a $ 1000 out the door because of «labor and wiring». So I was talked into getting an indash Kenwood instead that supposibly was worth $ 1000, which when I left and looked up the price was only $ 352. Being talked into everything, I ended up walking out purchasing the kenwood, an alarm system, and a 13 inch tv, my stereo did not come with the navigation because the cost for labor and wiring is more than what the stereo is actually worth, and I ended up paying $ 1200 for everything. I dropped of my car and of course the stereo was put in with gaps left in between the dash and stereo, they forgot to install the TV, and when I went and saw everything and was upset they «threw in the camera», however the money that I paid, I should have gotten much more than camera as I was wayyyy over priced, actual price of cd player $ 352, tv $ 149, alarm about $ 100, so how is that $ 1200 worth of equipment. I was charged an extra $ 600 just for parts and installation, and again the kenwood that comes with navigation and pandora I couldnt even get installed because their labor and wiring are wayyyyy tooo much. This place is a scam, and along with their shitty ass service they do a shitty ass job and act like they are doing you a favor. Go down to SD, wayy better selection, wayy better pricing.
JT is a fat lazy slob with a bad attitude along with their owner and their rude ass technicians.

Stupid shitheads. I took my classic mint condition car to get a stereo installed. When I picked up my car I asked for my old stereo back which was original to the car. Well they told me they couldn’t find it or it was thrown away and made it sound like it was my fault for not telling them I wanted it back, though idiots still my property and should have been left for me to decide if I wanted it or not, they probably sold it, needless to say I had to settle on a pair of 6×9 speakers to comfort me for the loss of the stereo, and were still rude.

I have been going to Advance Car Stereo for a few years now. As a retired Marine and business owner, I can legitimately say they are top-​of-​the-​line in their realm. I have spent a couple of thousand dollars on my sons car stereo, my car stereo, and now my daughters car stereo in her Mercedes. JT the owner is very knowledgeable, and does what is best for each situation. I appreciate the fact that he looks up the car, sees its capabilities, and gives different scenarios that suit our needs. All work is done neat and professional, and they calibrate everything to specs. As a retired Marine, and business owner in Temecula, California I recommend Advance Car Stereo 110%.

These guys are very knowledgeable about installing stereos. They told me exactly what I needed and where to find it if they did not sell it. Thank you for all your professional help! I will be having them install my satellite radio when it comes in.

I went and got an alarm put in today, spent 250 am not sure if am happy are not, it’s just your basic alarm! My gut says that’s pricey, my mind days idk the guy was cool though!
